    Excellent info! I'm lighter skin, but oily, and got mine done 2 years ago and wish I would have known about Digital microblading! Now I'm training to learn both microblading and machine hair strokes so I can offer clients what's best for their skin and what will look best after healing too.

      Lekesha Adams Thank you so much! If you have oily skin, regardless of skin color it’s definitely the best technique. It’s lasts much longer on ethnic skin as well.

    I took a microblading class along with ombré and for some reason she wanted me to get the machine but was never taught how to use it. I also had paid a lot of money for my certificate however my class was a total of about maybe 15 hours. 30 minutes was ombré teaching and the rest was pretty much microblading. So I’m trying to teach myself with a lot of practice and watching you tube for pointers.

      Oh no!! I’m so sorry that happened to you. Unfortunately there are just so many trainers and not enough ways to verify if they are all suitable to train.
      Really you might need another course. Even an online course can assist you with your technique more than TH-cam. Make sure you take an online course that offers support and assistance so you can get your work reviewed and have assistance as your skills develop. We offer combo brow online training but the course features machine hair strokes and not 𝑴𝒊𝒄𝒓𝒐𝒃𝒍𝒂𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 at this time.

    This video is absolutely on point !! You do not want to micro blade your brows!!! Micro blading is a very bad choice this Technique does not last forever. Every time you go in to touch up micro blading your brows the skin is being cut over and over which creates SCARING !! 😤🙆🏻‍♀️
    Scaring does not allow color to take in the skin OMG 😱! NOT NOT MAKE THIS MISTAKE 😳. “NANO IS THE BEST TECHNIQUE “ For Beautiful Brows 3D Natural looking strokes! GURL PLEASE I CANNOT WAIT TO GET MINE😍

      Linda Felan what you’re saying is very true. A majority of artists ( in the US ) are improperly trained in the Microblading technique so often it’s too deep and much of the skin is scarred. With proper training Microblading isn’t a bad technique for the RIGHT SKIN TYPE. Nano is a more universal service with less trauma, BUT it still about proper technique. You must have correct technique with nano. Once done correctly heals so well!!!!

    So I'm looking to switch careers and start doing brows (sooo excited!). Anywho, I joined a bunch of groups on fb and one of the posts I saw was someone asking more experienced artists if they would've gone straight into nano hair strokes and skipped microblading. Most people seemed to have said yes. What are your thoughts? I'd personally like to go straight into nano but I've also heard I should start with manual.

    • @MooreBeautyLove
      @MooreBeautyLove  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi Stephanie, great question! This really depends because everyone is different. I've had some beginners pick up nano really well because they're not struggling with old microblading techniques. On the other hand I've had students with previous experience do well because they have a good foundation in permanent makeup but also because they have an open mind. I think the key is no matter the level of experience you should exercise patience while learning the technique, you should also have a really patient instructor. Those factors along with having an open mind and positive attitude will help you in your ability to learn. Lastly, practice makes perfect! Hope that helps! Follow me on Instagram for more daily nano inspiration! @moorebeautylove

    Hi Maya! In your Nano Machine stroke class, do you discuss the depth that is needed for this technique to avoid blowing a line by accidentally going too deep? In your video, it appears like you are barely using any pressure as you are tracing your lines. Do you normally stay at a low speed as well, or do you adjust your speed during the process? I enjoy your videos! Thank you

    • @MooreBeautyLove
      @MooreBeautyLove  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Melanie M, so glad you are enjoying my videos. I usually keep my speed at a 6, 7 being the highest at times. My needle is at about 1.5 mm in length and I do not penetrate past the tip of the needle. It’s also important to work slow to get those saturated strokes with each pass you do.

  • @traceyeaton5887
    @traceyeaton5887 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Nano strokes seems like it takes longer than microblading and it requires a steadier hand. A swipe gesture with a blade is easier vs. a moving needle that is creating a line. In my opinion Nano strokes is not something that EVERYONE will be able to master.

    • @MooreBeautyLove
      @MooreBeautyLove  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Very true it is not an easy technique to master. It's much more challenging then microblading, but its less invasive for sure. It doesn't cut the skin.

    So whatever happened to the shading needles for the manual Microblade?
    Now help me understand the difference between manual and nano, other then electricity! I would like to see what is occurring with the nano since we’re not cutting into the skin.
    That’s just like saying the traditionally and getting tattoos comes with more pain and takes longer vs getting a tattoo from a machine which is faster yet they still hurt. But you get the same results. The Machine uses needles as well either it’s one or multiple, so how is this not cutting the skin?

    • @MooreBeautyLove
      @MooreBeautyLove  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Shading needles for manual microblading still exist. Take a look at some of my other videos where you can see the difference in cutting with microblading vs not cutting with nano machine hairstrokes. Or you can also take my online class where I teach in much more detail. But please check my other videos on youtube for more examples.

    Watching this because I’m a client who got microblading done with oily skin. I see maybe two hair strokes that actually stuck and the rest looks like shading. Do I go back for my touch up with microblading or find an artist that does nanoblading? I don’t want to waste my money If I’m going to get the same results.

    • @MooreBeautyLove
      @MooreBeautyLove  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hopefully your brows have faded a lot more by now and you should be able to get more hair strokes and some shading for a nice combo brow. I have a good network of artists that I’ve either trained or can stand by their work so I can alway refer you to really great artists that are great with Nano brows. It’s a really tough technique and your artists has to know what they are doing so that you get the best LONG TERM healed results. Meaning your hair strokes last for longer than a year or two .

      Yes certainly speak to your artist. They can assess what’s best for you after observing your brow area. If they are a proficient Nano machine artist they can offer you that service or whatever they see is best based on your skin. Sometimes after having had microblading done so many times in a short amount of time it’s best to let the skin heal.

      Taryn Elyse The biomaser is a great starter machine. The best starter machine is Amiea though :)
