    Thank you! For anyone who is beginner and watching this video my only suggestion is to use a bigger needle configuration rather than 0.25. I need a configuration just because this client I can see her skin is tight and on the younger side so she might have a thicker skin So using a 30-35 needle configuration might be best for faster implant of pigment so that way you go last times over the stroke . But if you have an older more mature skin, you might use the 0.25 needle diameter.The subject Of needles choice is different for each artist and we all here to share our experiences and learn from each other. That being said, it’s very helpful to see different artist with different with different techniques and you can try them on your own clients.

    • @MooreBeautyLove
      @MooreBeautyLove  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Great points, thanks for sharing your experience! I think you it’s important for you to also analyze the age of the video you are watching. 4 years ago techniques and tools were very different and long taper needles in .30mm and .35mm 1rl did not exist for the machine and cartridge brand I was using at the time. I actually tried using larger needles, but they were often short tapered needles and those created very thick healed lines.
      💡in 2021 I created my own rotary machine Zola which has the only 2.75 stroke length in the PMU industry and it’s excellent for both lines and amazing pixels. It also takes universal cartridges and I have Zola cartridges in .25mm, .30mm, .35mm and .40mm ( my favs for Melanin rich clients and thicker skin).
      I’m always thankful the industry keeps evolving as we seek to work smarter to achieve excellent healed results.

      @MooreBeautyLove yes iam aware of your work and machine also your tutorial at Bowler estatics I love it.
      Yes it's a 4 years old and even I stated a year ago my passion for this industry I just keeps learning Mon stop so when I started I didn't have lots of help and the budget to keep taking courses so online blogs and TH-cam tutorials were there to help. I just wanted to share a little what I learned along the way incase someone just started and stumbled across this amazing tutorial just for them to know like you said that they have options now and to analyze the skin before foing blindly like I did because like I said I didn't have support or help to know what's wrong or right after I was scammed $3000 all my savings on a bigger course a year ago and had to teach myself from zero

    Great video! THANK YOU! May I have a question, does it matter the angle of the machine while we doing the nano strokes? 45 degree angle or 90 degree angle? I’ve seen many videos, some artists use 45 degree angle while they holding the machine. Which one would you prefer?

    I'm still in training right now and have alot of Native Americans in my area. Is it better to microblade? I'm trying to move away from the blade and use my machine for hair strokes. Currently my sponsor only does the microblade with machine shading.

    • @MooreBeautyLove
      @MooreBeautyLove  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Great question. Sure you can microblade melanin rich skin. It’s important to leave a bit more negative space between your hair strokes to prevent a lot of migration ( especially if you are using pigments with carbon black in the formula).
      For me personally I prefer to create machine hair strokes for my melanin rich clients because I have more flexibility with dimension. I can make some strokes thicker and others thinner, some pixelated and some saturated. I can’t do that with blading. Hope that helps :)

    Thank you SO much for this video. I live in an area of the USA where the black and Hispanic population is right on par with the white population, so I have a lot of opportunity to work on dark skin. I have been so intimidated to work on their skin because of unfamiliarity, and of course I would never want to make a mistake that I didn't realize I was making. Does anyone have any other advice for how to be sensitive and caring towards my dark skinned clients and their specific concerns? I am a young white woman, and I know there might be an issue of trust that could come into play, that they don't feel 100% confident in my skill to work on their skin.

    • @MooreBeautyLove
      @MooreBeautyLove  ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question. I would start with taking on models. You’d be surprised how many ppl you may get with a model call. That’s a good place to start building your portfolio of diverse clients. Once others see your work they will become more trusting that you have the ability to work with their demographic.

    If I already know how to microblade, do u recommend taking the lavish nano course? Or could I just hop in the one for nano for darker skin?

    • @MooreBeautyLove
      @MooreBeautyLove  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Great question. I would recommend starting by taking the lavish nano course for more fundamentals and deeper learning. The Nano course on melanin rich skin provides more of an overview and gives specific techniques for working with clients on the Fitzpatrick scale 4-6.

    Did you use an other color a lighter tone for shading? Or did you dilute the color? Same needle, same speed?

    • @MooreBeautyLove
      @MooreBeautyLove  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I didn’t make any adjustment in pigment tone or by diluting.
      for speed I kept the speed the same as well because I only did a soft shade. if I was doing heavier shading I would have lowered my speed .

      Yes absolutely! As long as the technique is done properly with the best color pigments for your skin it will last and heal very nicely in dark skin as well as lighter skin.

    Hi honey! Congratulations for you amazing job!
    Just a short question: does nano strokes technique need a touch up session after a few weeks? If not, how long does with last with just one session? Thank you so much

    • @MooreBeautyLove
      @MooreBeautyLove  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Andra! Yes an 8 to 10 week touchup is still needed. After the touchup the healed results can last 1.5 to 2 years depending on how well the technique was performed and the clients skin.

    I had hair stroke removal done on a part of my eyebrow, which resulted
    in dented scar. I'm using Mederma per the salon's recommendation. Have you done hair stroke removal before and you know if the scar will be back to normal in a few months?

    • @MooreBeautyLove
      @MooreBeautyLove  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I’m not a medical specialist but from my experience if a scar has receded and dented inward it most likely won’t go back to its normal look without maybe getting some special treatment done. I would recommend speaking with a physician if you’d like to make those adjustments.

    what angle do you hold your machine at?

    • @MooreBeautyLove
      @MooreBeautyLove  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      La Killajacq, you always want to hold your machine at a 90degree angle for the best results and to prevent less trauma to the skin when performing the services.

    How long does the eyebrow pigmentation last? When approx would be the 1st touch up?

    • @MooreBeautyLove
      @MooreBeautyLove  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Villa Fam, depending on the clients skin and technique, the pigmentation usually lasts 1-2 years with Nano strokes. At times it may last 2-3 years with Microblading, shading or Ombre brows. You are required to get your touch up after the initial session 8-10weeks after the service is preformed. After that we like to do an annual touch up or “color boost” a year after that touch up for longer lasting results. After that depending on the clients skin, they can schedule color boosts moving forward. With oily skin the pigment tends to fade quicker at times FYI.

    May i ask, could the ink bleed together and lose the hair strokes during the healing process? Becoming more of a "blocked" look.

    • @MooreBeautyLove
      @MooreBeautyLove  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes if not performed correctly. That's why you need the right training to properly place the hair strokes.

    Great video! THANK YOU! May I have a question, does it matter the angle of the machine while we doing the nano strokes? 45 degree angle or 90 degree angle? I’ve seen many videos, some artists use 45 degree angle while they holding the machine. Which one would you prefer?

    • @MooreBeautyLove
      @MooreBeautyLove  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes the angle definitely affects how the pigment is implanted. I I prefer a 75° angle but the needle pointed away from me verses needle towards me. Times have changed and I find it implants more gently.
