first, thank you so much for what you do. you are one of the very few who take time to clearly break things down and it is greatly appreciated. my questions are: what is the difference in the amiea genius pro handpiece and the amiea supreme handpiece as far as doing Nano hair strokes, also which is best for most natural hair stroke 1.5mm, 2mm, or 2.5? thank you for your time.
Could not agree more about Amiea! I bit the bullet and purchased the Amiea Facile machine from Maya after taking her wonderful class, and I FINALLY feel like I've found the perfect machine for hair strokes!! I have much more control keeping the tip of the needle at a consistent depth in the skin while actually getting pigment implanted quicker. The needles are great, and I can get such thin natural-looking hair strokes with them. I also switched over to the Evolution pigment line and love it as well! My other machines are the Axys Valhalla (love for lash line enhancements but too heavy/vibrating for hair strokes for me), Neptune Novixx (use for microneedling), and the DermoPower (use for removal but way too much vibration).

I used the no name Chinese brand with a battery for 3 years. Could never ever get pixels. On latex yes, easy. On skin not at all. Could never get it smooth as well. Pigment would not implant into the skin the same with every hit.
I got the xion s and got it perfect with my very first try. The trauma to the skin is way less because every hit of the needle to skin is perfect and implants pigment every single time. So less trauma. Better results.

I’ve used the Xion S! I didn’t like it either! The weight of it was just too much, I felt like I was always having to readjust my hand and I didn’t like that at all. I’m glad somebody else agrees!

I had a question whenever you had the time but I was wondering for ombre/ shading/ powder brows what type of pigment should you use tattoo pigment or permanent makeup pigment? Hey Aqsa s - you should use pmu pigments which are designed for permanent makeup services. Tattoo art pigments have different compositions in the ingredients. Hope that helps some. Thanks!

That’s great. Yes the Bellar is a great all around device. I’ve used it a few times. It’s great. I still prefer the hit of the Amiea because I have feel the exact impact of the needle against the skin. it’s super helpful for me. The Bellar felt a little soft for me.
Hi, I am a fan of your work and just started with you online trainings.I just purchased the Biomaster P300 device (with pedal) and was wondering if I can use any safety membrane cartridge needle with it. Since I keep hearing these are better cartridges. I have been trying everywhere in the internet from amazon to ALiexpress and google and it seems like there is no answer for it. The Ameia Linelle Supreme, and Facile … how much difference do you feel in the hand piece? Although I had to take breaks in between because your presentation was longer than I had time for, I really did enjoy your presentation. I just got the first one you featured, in today, it's super cute but I wish it took cartridges.
I didnt realize youre supposed to get those tapered caps for it.
The pink one is a newer version that takes cartridges. The red one is an older version.

Thanks so much! Just put pigment or water inside needle while machine is turned on. Then turn it off and turn cartridge upside down to see if pigment travels through the entire cartridge. If it does then blood born pathogens can get inside your hand piece and be passed to other clients

I am new in the town, but I already want to inform you that I've found for the 3. machine, the rose gold and popular one (private label) are needles available WITH MEMBRANE in 1RL/3RL/5RL/7RL/3F/5F/7F BUT WAIT from they are in 0.3 , 0.25 and alllsooo in 0.18. I think that sounds good. .... and they are with cartridge ... AND YES I am sure they are for that machine! Maybe the needles are with a tighter hole, I do not checked them out. I just try to find my next machine....

The swisscolor pmu machine, was it the machine or the hand-piece that you didn’t like? Because they just got a new handpiece very similar to the amiea, it’s called SC Genius PRO 2.5 handpiece. I’m very confused about which machine I should buy. ❤️

I just received the “Premium Charmant Digital Device for Permanent Make-Up” with 6 needles (1p, 3p, 3fp, 5p, 5fp, 7fp). I ONLY bought this to tattoo my lips. I have never done this before.
But, the instructional dvd does not work. The booklet has horrible instructions. It does not teach you how to use this.
I only need this for my lips. Which needle do I use for tattooing my lips and at what speed? Please help me. 🙏🏻

Unfortunately I do offer lip service so I can’t give you recommendations for lip cartridges. I would try checking out videos on TH-cam. Some people use a single needle and some use other needle groupings. It’s best to research.
Loved this - only wish I would have watched it BEFORE buying the XionS.....just too darn heavy for me and I have large hands so I feel I need a longer hand piece. Really wanting to learn nano strokes as well so leaning toward the Amiea if I can find someone to sell my kidney so I can afford it. LOL

Is the Nano Tech and the PMU Intelli the same? I´ve noticed two different videos of you rating these machines. The more I search out and rate PMU machines, the more different and confusing advertising pops up, You sounded pretty confused on a couple machines. Makes me wonder if you´ve really used them all or your just good advertisment.
Question so nano blading and micro is just the difference in needle size so if I was to purchase any of these machines would i be able to do either are meaning micro if I chose to are nano?

I’m a little confused by your question. Nanoblading is a completely different technique. it’s a manual technique called microblading but it’s done with a thinner blade of .15,.16-.18mms in diameter. Nano machine strokes means a machine hair strokes created with a nano needle of .18-.25mm diameter. strokes can be created with .3 -.45 mm diameter however the strokes will be much thicker.

I don’t offer lip services but I’ve seen artists use many of the machines here for lips ( with the exception of the lollipop and the charmant machines)
I specialize in brows so I’m not 100% sure which ones would work the absolute best for lip services.
That is a bummer about the safety membrane. I have the first lollipop tattoo machine the red one and I love the pixels. I guess I can only practice with it on sheet skins? Im curious about the pink lollipop tattoo machine this also doesnt have safety membrane? I watched a video that you posted and you use the pink one quite often.

Have you tried a hand piece with acupuncture needle? My trainer had one and it did lovely hair strokes. I have the XionS and I am struggling at the moment.
Hi there, I've never used any acupuncture machines. I have heard that the needles are very good. I do use .25 mm diameter needles. The XionS was just too heavy for me. The Amiea hand-piece was perfect for my hand and for hair stroke creation. Good luck! And let me know if there's anything else I can help with or provide more suggestions.

Melodie Bertin, when performing a removal, I usually use a manual tool that’s similar to a micro blade. You apply the CRC removal and use your tool to remove the tattoo. Hope that helps!

You can look into CRC Remover. It’s an easy way to removed unwanted permanent makeup. My team offers this service and trains artists how to perform the service also.

Thank you for the detailed info. I would just say that different machines work best for different techniques. U have found that higher quality machine out perform the super cheap ones. I will always the the lollipop Guapa for powder but for hair strokes the high end is better for me

@Neith This video isn’t targeted at beginner or veteran artists it’s Maya’s opinion on what machines she liked best for nano hair strokes. You shouldn’t be disappointed by her expressing how she feels and what has worked for her customers and students. I think she said most of the machines were great machines for hair strokes but she liked the Amiea best of all. Cheap isn’t always better. Different strokes for different folks

Please review the Microbeau Bellar. I read that it's similar to the Ameia
I’ve actually used the Bellar and it’s a great handpiece. I just didn’t have one in my possession so I couldn’t add it to the review. It’s very light weight with low vibration. A little more than the Amies but still very low vibration. I personally prefer a harder hit to my needle so I feel exactly when the needle touches the skin. The hit on the Bellar was too soft for me personally but works well for others
