Despite Murphy's current good form, I think it would be crazy to go another transfer window without investing in a right winger.

@@daniel4224I agree with this. With Botman coming back in the new year, centre back can wait. Striker can’t take precedence with Isak there even if he has injury concerns.

As crazy as it sounds Murphy's value may never be higher if he stays in form. Underlying stats are good but I'm not a fan of aging wingers...sell when you can really no matter circumstances imo

We havre cpre of a great team with Isak, Bruno, Tonali, Gordon, Hall, Botman and Joe Linton.
It makes perfect sense to buy high level and young talent to complement the blue chip players.
I love the way our club is building up our academy in a driveto trade or push into the main aquad if they ate good enough.
Isn't it refeshing to know we at last are being run by a real set of professionals who aim to drive us into regular high level achievers 😊

I was expecting much more investment in the academy tbh. No PSR restrictions regarding academy spending so no excuses to not be the biggest spending in world football for the academy.

Great video. Thanks for answering my question. Sounds encouraging.
The Right Wing output over the past few games has shown what the team could be with that consistently.

@@jonnymars8084 yeah it’s interesting to me that there have been spells that show NUFC with a good RW output. First Almiron’s form two years ago and Murphy’s now; neither seem able to keep it up though.

If we can make champions league which is a very realistic expectation- we need to build around Tonali, Isak and Botman. Not too many positions to fill out but if we lose Tonali it would have Man City style collapse potential. For me the scouting team needs to focus on Football IQ as much as character

If PSR is still a major issue (limiting virtually any transfer activity without sales) in the current 3 year cycle, why did Darren Eales emphasize the flexibility the £70m losses from the previous year1 PSR period (now being n/a for the PSR calculation)) would give us in the transfer market? It was only 5/6 months ago he gave the interview (while over at adidas HQ). He also spoke about the increased revenue (e.g. adidas deal) and the positive impact that would have going forward. If we actually do have severe limitations, due to continued loses coming forward from prior financial years (what would now be deemed yr1 & yr2 for PSR), it was pure negligence under the Staveley regime to get the club in this mess. It is little wonder that those in charge no longer wanted her being a decision maker at the top of the club.

I think the whole thing hasn’t really added up for a while. It was framed as being sorted by last summer, and even then before it felt like Minteh going would be enough. Not been handled well, then you add in the bids for players over their value, it needs a re-think.

You know who we bought with that "reckless" money?
      Hall, Barnes, Botman, Tonali.
Get a grip and stop moaning about things that have helped us and I bet you are glad we have these players.
Name 3 bad signings that happened while Amanda was here, not including contract extensions...... Il wait

@@JNRF5385signings haven’t been reckless but didn’t say they were. Bidding that money for Guehi and ending up with nobody in the summer, when him signing would have caused issues is what they deserve questioning for.

If we were to sell Longstaff, do you think we could get Cacquert at a cut price. Playing as 8 hasn't worked out he is a 6 we know Howe feeling on this but Tonali could play higher up. Not necessarily a position of extreme need but improves technical ability. Which can help Howe switch to the morr possession side we believe he wants to be.
