- I try what I think is the best business class experience in the world and it isn't Q suites like most would think
This is the amazing Qatar A380 Business Class which includes the world's best bar experience at 35000ft
In my humble opinion this is far better than Q suites and offers something completely unique that other business class cabins just can't compete with.

Brilliant video! You perfectly capture the Qatar A380 business class experience 👏🏻 I think I agree with you on preference to Qsuite, the bar is iconic. On my last trip an Aussie guy on his way home for Christmas enjoyed it so much he fell asleep in the loo 😂

Just discovered your channel. Congratulations on the content and the excellent production quality. I’ll be fortunate enough to fly the A380 and the Qsuite in the next 10 days (first time in 5 years). Personally I’m on team Qsuite just for the privacy but there’s no denying the magnificence and novelty of the bar on the A380- unfortunately I always get it on the 2am return to London when I have to drive on arrival so never really get to maximise the value out of it…one day!!! Keep up the good work…seriously impressive content so far.

Evening Mark - fab report. I'm defo an A380 fan ( whatever airline it is! Just love the enormity of it all especially as now the 747 is a dying animal. It was always a thrill to sit in the nose of a 747, esp. row 1 knowing you would arrive before the pilots lol ) ). The food in Qatar Business, for sure, is as good and actually in my opinion ways better than BA First. Glad to see you were in much better control of the champs' glass on this flight - no damp trouser issues. Only 3 days now till my spring break, SFO for a week, BA A380 First out and back. For me the Concorde lounge is the best bit! The grub, the champs, and the view - what a day of lux! No idea what the lounge in SFO will offer.................we'll see.
Hi. Omg! Row one on the 747 was a dream of mine. I used to go to Manchester most weekends to see the Virgin 747s arrive and depart, they were amazing 🙌
I blame the turbulence for the champagne issues last week 🤦♂️😂

@@tradingplaces787 When I was a little boy in the early 70's I used to rock up by the runway at LHR with my dad and watch all the goings on. 747's were quite new then and I was awe-struck by them. Fast forward 20 years and there I was - parking my arse in the nose of one for the first time, row 1 too!. It was a BA 747 to Mexico City. I really thought I had arrived. However.............that was in the early 90s and by the mid-90s I had advanced my arse to parking it on Concorde every now and then ( LHR _ JFK route ). Now, at that point, I knew I had 'arrived'. Life has been good and we only travel 'upfront' now - you know what they say, when you turn left you can never go back. Don't be too impressed bud...............we run our own business and channel as much as we can through Amex for the Avios, and companion vouchers. We generally get at least 2 or 3 long-haul First returns a year, plus a couple of CE tickets. So far this year we have copped our trip next week, a week in Santiago Chile in Sept ( First rtn 787-9 with BA ) and a trip to Hamburg for the Xmas markets in Dec. We are on BA 285 1/5 departs 10.10 - I'll be in seat 2K for my sins. I'll check out the champs they now serve for you Mark and let you have a score. ( Ps You really must eat your tomatoes as they are really good at warding off cancer in ya plums ).

Snoring is ok I think. They are relaxed and maybe tired.
Try the 'new' al mourjan the garden business class lounge, it's nicer, has more showers (not as fancy as in the original lounge), a gym, good view and far far less people (no paid access).
Qsuite was great when it was one of a few business class products with a door in the sky. Many airlines have caught up though and I personally find Qsuite pretty cramped. If ANA had more planes with the 'room' it hands down beats Qsuite.

There's no better start to the weekend than when @tradingplaces787 uploads his trip report! Another great one. Shame about the lounge being over capacity- I really wish airlines would stop cramming passengers in as sadly lounges these days are so crowded and aren't a relaxing or premium place to be unless you fly First Class. It's a really tough call on whether or not the Q-suite or A380 is better as Qatar service and comfort is industry leading in my opinion. Think I'll side with you and choose the A380 for the uniqueness of the bar area. Have a great weekend and safe travels!

Hi Mark. Wow, I was just one away from winning last week’s prize! Great video as ever. I’m definitely team A380. As you say, there is a real novelty about having access to a spacious bar with amazing hors d’oeuvres like sashimi. Qatar are really a cut above the rest. I flew the B777 from Manchester to Doha on business but your experience looks like it tops mine. Diptyque is a great product. Well, I’m hoping I win next time 😊 As for the snoring, I’d find that hard to tolerate. I always carry wax earplugs from Boots called Muffles in case of such events or screaming babies (in economy). I hope in time we may see you do a review of JAL or ANA. I think you’d really like the Japanese hospitality. Best wishes, R.

Snoring is less annoying than crying kids/babies (always being good quality noise cancelling headphones)
me personally im team q suites. from what I've heard from other sources q suites is a much more luxury service where mattress topper is also included in most flights as well as usually a more extensive selection and personally having my own little suite sounds perfect than a seat with a little privacy. definitely team q asuites could still try a-380 with emirates with they standard one and their game changer in the 777
Hi, I agree Q suites are currently top dog and the thing to beat from a seat perspective, I just felt this A380 experience edged it (slightly😬) it’s a very close one though 😂

Ive flown both a380 bclass and qatar 777 -300er bclass and even though the bar in on a380 is special, the qsuite in my opinion, are better, but i am always a solo world mover!! so cant answer for couples traveling? x

As a general rule, I try not to fly Business Class on aircraft that also a First Class product. It makes me suffer from First Class envy. I always have to travel the highest class of service on the flight I am flying.

Honestly, I wasn't a fan of the A380 business class seats. The cabin felt exposed and there was a lack of privacy. I did enjoy the sky bar, but other than that, I am looking forward to the Q-Suites.
I would love to fly Qatar, BUT I'm not convinced this Jew would make it out alive! One of my CLients flies Qatar on a regular Basis to BKK from EDI and tell me they have had endless issues with lost luggage, terrible food, equipment changes and caancellations. I think I will save up and fly Etihad instead.
