@@Abhiv605 according to act it's contract of only for training period. Candidate don't have right to claim for any job after training program. But if in case company has contracted with you they will give you job. then you can go to your nearest labour court and ask more information. I'm MSW student so I'm not to much aware about that.
"workman" means any person (including an apprentice) employed in any industry to do any manual, unskilled, skilled, technical, operational, clerical or supervisory work for hire or reward, whether the terms of employment be express or implied, and for the purposes of any proceeding under this Act in relation to an industrial dispute - apprentice is included in the definition of workmen and is covered under industrial disputes act. @2:35 you mentioned that the act does not apply on apprentice.

Apprentice experience is considered as work experience or not? Please clear the matter. Many companies are telling they want experience excluding training period then there we will able to apply or not??
