1. Farm Revenants for drops and keep/use the ones you like 2. Dissasemble junk for Spirit Chunks 3. Reforge your gear using the Chunks from step #2 That's pretty much all you need to know to get through the first couple hundred hours in Nioh. :) (Btw, the title is a bit misleading: I thought this video was supposed to be about endgame crafting.)
@ 4:23 - the value is determined by the rarity of the item. Normal gear will cost you more Gold than spending on a Purple item. This provides a higher risk for better discount.
My only issue is so far, I've literally only found the warrior of the west armor to just be way too op, every revenant is wearing it and it's stats are just always so high, but that feels so boring, I don't want to just wear this one set the whole game, but I feel like I'm messing up by not using it
You explained it perfectly. The only issue I am running into is the percentages. My exotic percentage on every weapon/armor piece is always 1-5% under the common percentage. It never changes for the better like yours did in the video. Any suggestions?
I found out what the issue was. I just completed a mission where I did something for the Blacksmith so she could craft better weapons. Now my exotic percents are at 35 when previously they would always be below my common. Thanks for this vid tho man.
Great man! I was watching at blacksmith and didn't know what to do. This is just great explained. I go with Red Devil set. Can I make it more defense? Light set is low on defense and 2-3 hits get's me killed.
gradeAbra strategist gives you treasure sense and enemy sense I think, plus a little to attack and defense and if you use mizuchi guardian spirit has some bonus
The best way to gear up in first run thru is by killing revenants whenever your gear starts to become under leveled. Like dot dot said don’t waste your gold or materials before NG+ goes for nioh 2 as well
Doing missions is usually the best way. Once you get gear that you like, you can easily farm missions for extra equipment with the wind guardian spirit, and then sell everything that you're not using. Because of how levels impact gear stats, unless you're going to use the item in a set or soul matching, it's usually good to just sell or disassemble it.
depends on your region. if your in the first region do the mission finders, keepers 2nd region bridge of bone. after that idk. also, disassemble all your equipment then forge your smithing materials to purple status..........then you can sell the purple forging equipment for gold or use it to craft weapons and armor. if you sell weapons and armor you will never get enough gold for what you want. always disassemble it!
Soul match needs to be reworked i cant emagine this is how it was intended to be. The soul match cost is way to high for the gold earned in game. 400,000 k to soul match something for only 5 points up lmao its broken. Maybe its like this on purpose to promote forging your own gear....who knows
It can be annoying; especially when we're talking the high levels. After testing it, the price seems to be determined by what gear you're using as the material, the level you want to raise, and the quality of the materials. If I want to soul match an axe, then using a purple axe would be cheaper than using a purple spear for example.
Game Wisdom that doesn’t make any sense because the game doesn’t let me soul match weapons in a different classification. Like I can’t soul match a axe with a spear I can only do it with another axe. So it’s expensive no matter what.
Hispanic Cuckslayer and Sjw flayer so dude tear them down add the good stuff, so that means I can add all purple ingredients to it correct instead of the white yellow and blue
I should try to do another run through of Nioh before the sequel comes out. I think I beat the game on Way of the Demon originally, but didn't do a video on it.
I been playing Nioh for 70hrs and still do not understand this whole system yet
Graham Colman same here its so complicated and so random
Same here.
I just pick up the next best weapon that gets dropped
yes im still playing nioh in 2020 and still figuring out how i unlock the odachi

I should of watched this before offering all my gear to the shrines 🤣
Or selling it for some quick cash.. 😣

If you "select all" on the armor/weapon tab you won't sell consumables.

Refashion it to something you like to wear.. That way you can get the stats of warrior of the west but you get to wear other armors
Thanks for sharing this. This helped a lot
Wish i would of seen this before starting Nioh...very good information.
Do divine weaons make the game easier on higher difficulty?
this helped alot brother! thanks!
Stupid question why is my blacksmith only letting me craft level 15-24 year I'm level 37 please could you help
It's been awhile since I've played Nioh unfortunately. Are there any side quests from the blacksmith to do to unlock new crafting recipes?
@@Game-wisdom not that I can see I think I need to buy or disassemble stuff to level her up takes ages though lol thanks for replying.

Are you using any of the low quality variants in your crafting? It should show all exotics being used to get to the highest percentage.

The Tactician set is the best set? Anyway what bonus effect does that set gives?
From what I've seen at the late-game, the red demon armor seems to be the popular one. Probably because the full set gives you increased damage.

lol best gear is end game gear called divine gear dont waste ur money on ur purple they are useless
dot dot So spend the bulk of the game with shit weapons? That’s just stupid.

I wanted to reforge my dlc is that possible?
I don't think so. I noticed that it wouldn't let me sell my DLC items when I first got them.

Please make a video to show how to beat the game on Way of The Demons! People say its way too difficult, and I felt the same too.
