this car ended... and this is Y AUDI, BMW, & BENZ will always have the attention of the US market because they're not afraid to do something with a wagon. Cadi shoulda kept making improvements to this
MotorWeek is *not* made possible by RockAuto. It is, always has been, and always will be made possible by the man, the myth, the legend, Mr. John Davis. When he retires, MW should just do the right thing and stop.
Dumb mentality most americans still have with illogical hate of sedan based wagons. Originating from awful giant boats from 1970s and 1980s. They feel repulsed by a thought of a wagon when yhey buy even bigger and worse boats in form of giant suvs which are wagon versions of themselves, like long versions of Tahoe, Escalade or Ford Escursion which are just ridiculous and border on being busses.
Three pedals??? I want one right now!!! This is probably the reason why the Dodge Magnum got killed. And why would anyone buy a mopar after the CTS-V with a manual? Specially the Wagon
Wow... these performance numbers and stats put a lot of "performance/sport coupes" to shame. I really wish Dodge kept the magnum and updated it. This is way over most people's budgets lol.
@mazda6tuner99 hey thats life u cant win them all but dont get me wrong the CTS-V is an awesome car but the new M5 now has the same power as CTS-V so we will see if the Caddy can stay on top by the way which is ur favorite Mazda?
It takes more than a couple of tweaks, but yes, you can get it into the 10s. Don't forget it's very heavy so it takes a lot more power to get it there.
Sadly and for their stupidity everyone looses choice... People should have a freedom to choose from any bodystype they like. Every sedana and compact in US should have a wagon variant, every single one. Instead there is void from something as dinky as Mitshubishi Mirage to Corollas ans Camrys, neither of which offer true wagon bodystyles in US(Camrys worldwide equivalent Avensis had a wagon version and so does the Corolla). While people buy gigantic suvs like long versions of Escalade or Chevy Tahoe denali, or lincoln navigator all of which are technicly wagon suvs. Only reasonably sized wagons available are few Audis and Volvoes, all in very expensive premium bracket, made wven more expensive because of dumb chicken tax, so only affordable wagon is Subaru Outback and its only one that sells well.
"minimizes the need for extra glass" was Cadillac's biggest mistake. Chances are, they needed the large D pillar to keep the car rigid. However, it makes the rear visibility horrible.
@yynotnnh oh yeah, because if there's one thing american automakers are doing in spades, it's pumping out supercharged v8 wagons with manual transmissions! Why I hear Ford has a Fiesta SVT in the works with the engine from the FordGT... The term half-assed doesn't even BEGIN to describe your assessment, and the fact you somehow think the CTS-V wagon is an accurate representation of them as a whole? That's just a whole new dimension of ignorance.
Highly underrated Cadillac.
Such a beautiful front end and an overall nice looking wagon
Wow! Brake distance is outstanding!

I'd like to know what it is about the sport wagon that people don't like? Hardly any are sold in the US...

Us consumers are among the stupidest and most illogical people. I would’ve loved to own one of these
In 2020 it's still a good car
God I love it and want one so bad, I’d be happy with a lowly 3.6 there is a company that makes procharger for it being the HP up to 450-470 wheel HP
I looove this car.
LOVE this car
That's one sweet ride.
That explains why the sound track is stuck in the 80's.

My practical dream car. In silver.

Best car ever
i dont know why but i want this car.
I would do anything for this car... And I mean ANYTHING. It hurts to know that I cannot afford one.

I’ve had this car for 5 years now. Never had a problem
With visibility

Only real drawback I’ve heard of this car is the range....
Yeah. 220-250 mile range, typically, depending on how you drive it.
Thats just nature of having a car with a massive V8 like this.
go back to 60's
I never liked the rear end of this. Looks like a hearse.
three words: sex--u--al
your way of thinking... :\ ha ha..... clouns!!!
I wish I was born rich or pretty... oh well I guess I'll have to make due with my CTS-V Wagon
I WISH I WAS BORN RICH INSTEAD OF PRETTY.
