Brother I would really like you to know that, if you have a discrete/dedicated graphics card, then in the Nvidia control panel you must click to use that gpu, not the gpu that's in your cpu. In your case you have selected the cpu's integreted graphics which will not allow your big gpu to work at all. Hope I managed to make you understand

my laptop is "okey" when play it, but since the new update, my fps drop and not cosistent, which bothers me
when valo is updating its automatically brings back the 100% graphics so try to edit again the graphics from %appdata%

bro idk if you will see this but if your fps stutters make sure to put limit fps always on and put it on somewhere lower than your average fps for example i am average 60 fps then i put limit fps always one and put it at 30 it will be less stutters i hope this helps
Play on 800x600 res it gives a massive fps boost ik it makes ur screen smaller but trust it helps

same specs but for me i just get long load times, go into settings and game mode, on the right click graphics settings, and Add program, then add valorant etc. adds 5frames roughly

after the new updated, my fps always dropped to 50-30 fps when so many peoples shooting and use utility. i think the problem is the game itself.

@Nordecai183 because csgo is old engine and valorant is new engine. Valorant used alot of cpu usage than gpu. I always checked my cpu usage while playing valorant. sometime can go 80-100 % cpu usage and make my fps drop so bad. my cpu i5 4210h 2 core 4 threads and can go to 3.5 ghz. I think 4 core cpu can handle well.
Its cuz when there is an update some of the settings revert

But once I've completed these steps, you'll be able to fix it! It really helps me, though there are still framedrops, which I believe are due to Nvidia because i dont have that one. when valorant just came out, i used to get 30-60 fps on my 8 year old potato laptop.
i just recently got a new laptop months ago with amazing specs and averaged 170 fps, medium settings. but everytime the game updates, my fps worsens. averages around 90-120 now, especially on the map haven. i honestly don't know what to do about it anymore because from 170 fps to 90 fps is such a huge difference.
@Kibi Dango for a game that is heavy on utility, it could be worse tbh. however, it's the fact that it used to be better than it is now.
90 isn't that little but i'm more of concerned about my friends with low-end laptops. they average less than 30 fps now, i honestly don't know how they get to kill with that HAHAHA
idk but having 90 fps on a 144hz screen doesn't look pleasing either, i really wish they'd do something about it, especially their servers and ping.
try to clean each temp and dump files, also keep your cpu cool, if it is exposed to high temps for too long, it might degrade faster

You are god human version I changed the antialiasing, shadows and all that stuff to just 2 one lower than 3 and it really helped but like 20% it might not seem like a lot but to me it felt like alot but I lag when I run into someone

I try to play on laptop I use raser cortex, it did help with the fps but in the lobby I only got 100+ fps but in game I got sprint 30 to 60fps. Btw my laptop is not a gaming one so it’s hard playing bc it lags sometimes
