Ran a race here lastnight, no practice went from 9th to 1st in 4 laps, dropped to 3rd saving tires and went on to take the lead back with 5 to go, put myself back in victory lane after a long time
Glad 3rd time was the charm for you! So sorry again for making the first race incident so much worse than it needed to be with my ARCA braking, just terrible decision making on my part. I actually figured out that saving line on my own on my 4th attempt, it's honestly pretty validating to find out that's how you recommend to do it. Maybe it wouldn't take me four attempts to get it right if I just watched your guide first, huh? lol
Yeah if I got my qualifying more consistent I could’ve gone into tire saving mode earlier but it’s hard in an Arca race to see 10 guys in front of you and not try to get some of it in the beginning lol

@@DJYeeJayfound a solution :) done 2 races, both 2nd split. won the 1st, 7th on the second (messed up the qual and stuck in traffic...). so, thanks once more!
You would see me dumping a guy after he cut me off twice in a row and then the second race my pedals slipping on the carpet and me just yeeting a corner lol

Yeah I was a caveman last night and just drove the race with whatever settings I had. 😂 I won the race but it sucked ass. Car drove like shit. My wrists an arm was tired after that one.
Despise tracks like this for qualifying. These "rip the top with no brake" are just awful. Feels like you're throwing the car in with no thought and it makes remembering marks a lot harder. Fun track, but wow, painful.

I killed my tires 🤣, I was fast for 20 laps and then kinda got put in the wall and had no tires
Ya if your tires touch the wall iracings physics kinda break and suddenly you have tires hotter than the surface of the sun
Do you know what your tire % was at the end of that race?
It was at 48% so probably 50ish without the big save
