Why are you whispering at me?!
#ASMR is an acronym commonly used to describe the tingly/buzzing/static sensation associated with certain audio/visual stimulae - often whispering/soft-spoken voice, and other quiet triggers. It's a similar feeling to 'frisson' - the shivers that run up your spine when watching an incredible scene in a film, or really /feeling/ amazing music. It's the best.

@Jona given the average views and how high quality his videos are, I’d guess he’s more doing it for the fun of making the video. But yeah, that could be pretty demotivating
His work is fantastic but he simply doesn’t upload often enough to beat the algorithm.

Any day that Atlas uploads is immediately a great one. It’s like a little trip to the movies every time I watch one of your videos.
Everyday I check for a new upload by Atlas, and when I don't, that's when he does it. Aargh!
You nailed the Wes Anderson cinematography! This is both visually and aurally stunning. I appreciate the little references to your other videos here - the Atlas universe keeps on expanding, haha. The hands reaching for the drinks and sweets is a fun touch, too. Bravo, good sir! 👏
That quick zoom out with "Speak Quietly" on the top of the frame is peak Wes Anderson humor and cinematography, so bravo, you nailed it.
How are you this underrated? The TH-cam algorithm SUCKS! You are a literal hidden gem that was lost throughout time waiting to be found all over again. I'm in shock in how good your videos are and how little views you get every single time. All the videos I watched from you are just insane both in the creative side, narration, cinematography, and set design. Not fair I tell you!
Diamonds are hard to find
To be honest I think the algorithm heavily favors asmr by pretty young women. Atlas' videos are all genuine works of art so I'm always mad that his stuff seems to get ignored compared to asmr eye exam number 5816793 by cleavage mcgee. Atlas' videos always feel like they're just regular short films that also have asmr in them, and I love them so I have to have just the right setting/mood for them (which has been hard lately because my neighbor keeps screaming at random points during the day AND NIGHT)
*digital standing ovation* the slight undercurrent of unsettling occurrences is just perfect. the way the ski lift was a little too high to be attached to anything by the end and the fourth wall was a little cracked, and the nods to unseen strangers and secrets throughout. the blend of calm and intrigue! ahhh I have no words yet another absolute masterpiece.
WAIT HIS WATCH STOPPED OR FROZE AND THE SKI LIFT IS GOING INTO THE SKY BEYOND THE HEIGHT OF THE MOUNTAINS BECAUSE THE CHARACTER IS NO LONGER ALIVE???are we accompanying him to the after life in a ski lift after a ski accident 😭? Might actually be losing the plot but the lore potential good god.

today has been pretty rough, but you know what, not even that could stop an Atlas notification putting a massive smile on my face
While I'm not the greatest Wes Anderson fan I have to commend you for the attention to detail you put into even the technical aspects of a video like this. Not just the color grading but only the most dedicated of film nerds would crop the video to this odd 1.375:1 ratio. I don't know if there even is another ASMRtist who considers the aspect ratio of their videos.
This is my favorite kind of ASMR, one that feels like a relaxing moment in a charming film. I hope one day there will be movies made to entertain and relax in the same way videos like these do!
It seems the Atlas multiverse is starting to crack and becoming more and more meta haha and I'm here for it.

I've seen ONE (1) Wes Anderson film, and the trailer for the one coming out, and *immediately* recognized the style. I'm talking the first 5 seconds of the video. Great job in every respect replicating and working with it, and an even better job with the ASMR
After attempting to make a Wes Anderson style tik tok went viral I think it really showed his wild bran/skill because you could see how hard it was to get right, this is the best attempt ive seen by far. I've not seen that many Wes Anderson films (Royal Tennenbaums is my fave but I've only seen it and maybe half of Budapest Hotel) but I must say after only 2 or so minutes in, I prefer this ASMR then any of the movies.
