Locally, at least for my National Service unit (Transport Formation), we (obviously) used this when the Colours party - a 2LT carrying the Formation Colours with a Sgt on either side plus the RSM - marched in. I think other units use "Marching with Pride". Would we have use, anyway, for a dedicated "Colours March"?
th-cam.com/video/G8jatkCbI_8/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=JohnsonLeeSingaporesousa By way of update, I have been made aware that one Johnson Lee has composed a Colours March. I do not know if it was ever used in practice; during my time in National Service, the Colours were marched in to either Marching With Pride or Guard of Honour.
GUARD OF HONOR, GET ON PARADE! SIR! Parade... Salute to the Colours.... Preseeeennnttttt.. ARMS! THE GUARD OF HONOR WILL NOW MARCH INTO THE PARADE SQUARE, BY THE LEFT, QUICK MARCH 0:01
"The parade will march past and off parade in quick time. Guard of Honour leading. Guard of Honour will advance to the right. The remainder will advance to the right and left. Right and left - TURN."
the signature tune for flag bearing party : the Kerwalan panji-panji carrying formation (battle) flags on SAF Day, National Day and ALL OCS Commissioning Parades.
I agree with you - even though, to be honest, the piece was catchy. as. HELL. (with that said, it was the Singapore Infantry Regiment March that was admittedly stuck in our heads much longer.)
Every Officer Cadet who has attended their Commissioning Parade will NEVER, EVER forget this tune. the number of times we hear it is same as the number of parade rehearsals and believe it or not, those who were blessed enough to form the Cohort's Colour Party, will have this tune engraved into their heads FOREVER too.
In the National Day Parade, Out of any military march, This is my FAVOURITE!
Best instrumental in the world no cap
During National Day Parades, we hear this music when the Guard of Honour march in.
Lets do an animated video of Captain America marching with this music.

PM Lee also marched through this music in the 70s/80s during his NS army days.

It’s too upbeat and sounds almost superficial... melody is unimaginative. And every speech day parade people have to march to this

(and, to be fair, I vastly preferred the Thai Royal Guards March.)
