- You asked us to feature more Vespa scooters so we did as we were commanded. Shedtune presents the worlds fastest Vespa over a quarter of a mile. We went along to Dakota raceway Smeartharpe’s 1/4 mile sprint track. The event was a round of the National Sprint Association championships and we wanted Adie Horrocks to show us just how fast his small frame Vespa is. The track record at Dakota raceway Smeartharpe’s 1/4 mile sprint track is 12.7 seconds so we challenged Adie to break it. He already holds the record along with many many others so we thought it would be a great opportunity to see just how fast it is.

Cracking video Russ and mental Scooter!. Adie is a lovely chap. Had the pleasure of meeting him at Smeartharpes a couple of meets back. Got all the time in the world to chat (Unless he's fixing something lol) He literally has lumps of metal welded to his forks to try and keep the front down! Absolute nutter. I was with my mate who was running a 2 stroke Italjet Dragster on the day. Will be there gain soon I hope :D

Grateful for this I know he’s not racing,as the reaction times are slow need to go on first light on the tree,not the green light 💡

@@Shedtune_Russ yes but it happens that fast you actually go on the first light 💡 as by the time u move it’s green anyway!
@@davidwilliamson9162that’s the quickest way to get a red light. This is sprint racing not drag racing so reaction time isn’t counted for.
Essentially your acing your own race and the other guy is doing the same.
I do try and race whatever is im the next lane tho 😂😂🛵
