Almost $2,000 to drop on Safety Gear....you either must be ballin or got sponsors
Balling
remember he lives in America, ambulance ride 500-1500$, ER bed for a day is 10k. Ask any motorcycle rider been accident and been to hospital.
2k on safety gear is saving him money
No they are just being smart. I have the same brand of jacket and helmet.
both. they will make that back very easy from the video itself. not to mention the advertising for the manufacturer...
Bro he would make large off these videos real large
One rock on the road and you go straight away to heaven
You're crazy for going that fast on those tiny little wheels man! Stay Safe 🤙🤙
It is a little nerve wrecking on 11 inch tires.
even with safety gear if he wipes out hes breaking many many things
@@Darkness-ie2yl 😂😂
@@Darkness-ie2ylnaw if it’s very good gear and armor, he’s fine
Kick it to 88 mph and add a flux capacitor!
proper speed test are always done on downhill 😉
I'm amazed emove didn't find a grippy deck a useful thing on such a machine.
HOLY COW! On my Yume Y11+, Ive hit 50 or close to it few times and I was scared for my life. 45 mph felt like 120... 65+ would feel like going 140 on a car lol. Great job and thank you for the wonderful video, risking a whole lot for the viewers. Stay safe brother, little one is coming!
45 is also crazy fast. how stable is the y11+ at that speed? is there stem wobble? was thinking about getting that scooter. thanks
Never had any wobble. It is very stable. Yume pays tax for you if you are buying it in US. I still believe its the best 60v 6000w scooter for the money. However there are scooters with bigger tires (14”) and a 72v 8000w for few hundred dollars more. But it probably won’t have Yume’s customer service. Yume has been very good on support whenever I had a problem or a question. Great build quality. I don’t think the other similar scooters on amazon or alibaba has the same quality.
I have a Zsnake (which seems like a bad idea now seeing as they don't seem to be in business anymore) they claim 52mph but I haven't gotten over 45, have used a gps speedo to check and it seems fairly accurate at least. and it's sketchy as hell at those speeds but it's more of an offroad scooter in the first place, very loud compared to this video, and now very squeaky too from the suspension and slight brake rotor rub
First of all.. respect for your safety gear!!!🤩👏👏
From 65 miles and up, every mile is a progress👌 and the filling is like a street bike with 120 miles!!🙀🤯
Scooters don't have aerodynamic so to hit maximum top speed must "win" the air with 2 ways..
1 way : Get low as much you can, to also scooter by controlled.
2 way : Make your body an "arrow" as front you can your head and rear foot to footrest at 45° (like a 100 meter runner in start)... So you become a racing spoiler for your scooter!
With the 2 way i make top speed runs with my scooter..! 😉 Is also more safety, because all your weight is on rear foot and your hands hold stable the scooter!!
Happy New Year guys!! Wish you full of health, luck and creativity 2024..!!!🙋🥰
All very good points and thanks for the love! I got pretty low on this scooter but I'm a little heavy right now so I'm a spoiler slowing the scooter.
Coming from someone who rides everything from 72V ebikes, EV's, and GSXR's...That thing is a beast!
I came from the motorcycle world and I love high powered personal electric vehicles. It's been a dream job testing out all the latest and greatest PEV technology.
freshly charged and oman dan from scootopia are the only honest ones not Selling out. Hope they wont!!
Wow! Just mind-blowing Andrew! I'm glad you guys dropped this one because everyone was asking me to test my Roadster like this! After only one run up to the 60s, I knew the good stuff would be left to you guys to explain. Great video and thanks for teaching me about the potential of my Roadster.
I thought you would have tried to hit the top speed! 60 is definitely plenty for most.
I've been loving your content on the Roadster.
@@Andrew-vt4jt Thanks. Just an Old Guy Having a Young Experience. Keep cranking out that good content 👌 👏
Imagine being like ahh perfect, an empty road and I need to go to the bathroom. And then he just silently appears 💀
I'm so jealous, that looked so cool, i just love Andrew, he's such a cool calm collected speed freak 🤙
These guys make some good videos. That’s some bravery shit right there. Personally I am pretty good with my 45 mph Segway GT2. I have thought about the Wolfking GT-R thou. That 65 mph is tempting. Maybe in the future.
The Segway GT2 is a great scooter. I do find it exhilirating to go 60+ mph on an electric scooter.
The Wolf King GTR does not get to true 65 mph it's an advertised/marketing speed. Even a lot of the GPS app deliberately do not show true speed especially at higher speeds as they read higher for customer attraction. The scooter is under 60 real mph.
This scooter can probably hit 80mph with a smaller rider and absolute ideal conditions, not a single pebble can interfere. Thank you Andrew for putting your life at risk for the escooter community 🫡🫡🫡
70 mph in a car with windows down is already pretty jarring, a scooter on the other hand at such speeds is literally riding the thin line between life and death

things definitely change when you get little ones in the picture (congratulations!). awesome gear and awesome review. you guys are #1
100%, but totally worth it!
@@Andrew-vt4jtAndrew this Wolf GTR, ex limited, or the new bronco. Looking for range and waterproofing as I live in Seattle. With the GTR I know I could just buy a second battery The new bronco has a 50ah
very disappointing scooter. i was expecting something special.
this thing is ugly, completely inefficient. the hype is ridiculous for this.
arms are ugly, fenders are ugly, its heavy for its capacity, top speed considering the components it has, is pretty underwhelming. completely overpriced.
not even pmt's are stock.
that rear light is like a thunder 3 knockoff. that rear brace also looks like it belongs on a completely different scooter.
bare damper on a scooter of this price?? really??
the components, this thing should have rocked the rion thumb throttle and the other stuff on the handlebar, very low level components, this is stuff u will see on much cheaper scooters.
also, very heavy for a "full carbon fibre" scooter. full carbon fibre my a$$. at best this thing is very thinly wrapped in carbon fibre on some components and thats it. neither the battery, nor the motors or controllers used, not even the overall size of the body can explain how it can be "full carbon fibre" and still weight over 140lb. i mean the 7260r is a 72v60ah scooter and it weight 137 and thats a way bigger scooter in terms of dimensions including bigger tires, bigger body, bigger motors, way bigger battery and yet still is lighter.
this thing is not full carbon fibre. if it was full carbon fibre it would weight well under 110lb.
i dunno, just overall very underwhelming.
only good thing about this thing is the neck and the lack of folding mechanism.
once a scooter is capable of 40-50+ mph, there should be no folding mechanism, its absolutely ridiculous. weped even folds the rear wheel like thats just pure stupidity so i can appreciate emove removing a folding joint, much more safe that way.
btw, these top speed runs, unless u can show proof that said top speeds were reached while on flat ground, the tests are pointless, for all we know, there might be a slight slope that can make the scooter look faster than it is.
Two runs going each way is how speed records are done😅
yes and take the average of the two but still, showing data of the road would be nice.@@patrickb133
the arms from the deck to the bars needs to be Aerodynamic not flat that is drag plus if in a arrow shape it will also cut the drag off the rider by splitting air How many Jets have a flat plate for a nose cone ?? lol
the best e scooter youtube chanel out there!
Literally scared the piss out of that lady @6:55 !!!!!!
Man I was so excited I was hoping you were gonna break the 80 miles an hour, but 74 is stilla feat. Congrats can’t wait to get one of these.
😮 adrenaline junky developmental mental issues do not even know it starter from childhood to adulthood. What's the point going faster on a scooter your human body can't handle that speed any type of speed.😮 basically is the manufacturer fault electric scooter do not supposed to go this fast solve this riddle you will always need a vehicle or you give me the answer🎉
Why would you want to go 80mph on a electric scooter? Why not 😁
The same reason dem hellcat and import boys do it. To go fast. Real fast
Cold and windy ,on a warm nice day this beast will do 80
Im droolin for that speed my 11x is fast but not fast enough
For that to go much faster you need 3500W 72V motor in the rear... just replace the stock one with that and leave the front one stock. Replace the battery pack with a custom-built battery pack, Samsung 40T cells would be best. And an external battery pack and mount it on the front of the scooter for more power and range. Battery makes the biggest difference than motor.
It's not really a production scooter if it's been altered (shorter deck and lower handlebars).
Wow this is amazing!
Thanks! You have a pretty cool channel!
No doubt racing improves the breed. Lots of innovation & advances for auto/MCs came from racing. That said, short of exponential increases in power, speed is all about aero. I know you guys already bought your suits but incase there's more $$$ in the budget, look into a 1 pce Aerostitch Roadcrafter suit. Best protect short of leathers & super easy to put on/off. Great for Colorado cold as well
Love the scooter. I know the feeling where speed heightens your senses, it's a nice rush.
I ride an Inmotion RS, I currently have the handlebars at about 2 inches above my belly button which is about 42". Probably more so for comfort, but I'm not an experienced rider yet.
The RS is a new scooter for me with only 16 miles on it now, and it's cold in Long Island so I don't rip it too hard, I've been cruising at 35-45mph waiting for the warmer weather. My max at one point was ripping to 55mph on a long straight away, only for about 5 seconds. The rush was real.
My question is, do you find it more stable with the handlebars lower? I see the Roadster's handlebars at around your hips, below the bellybutton. Is this better for stability & control overall? or was it only for this top speed quest where you wanted to tuck lower?
At what handlebar height do you feel is best for overall control, especially if I want to cruise at higher speeds sometimes on faster roads in my journey. From your experience, is slightly lower, near the hips ... or slightly higher at bellybutton better? ... or maybe where I'm at, 2 inches above the bellybutton? I'm sure I'll find my comfort zone, but I'd love to know what you've learned in your experience.
Thanks guys! Great channel.
This is a very good question. Most scooters don't have adjustable stems, so it's important to know before buying. Researching this on the internet says you should keep it from your belly button to your hips. But I too like to know about Andrew's experience on this matter since he's super experienced with scooters and speed. Has he written back to you?
No, no response yet. @@informationexchange4085
He rode it at that height because that was the height of the handle bar. Considering you can adjust yours, tell us your experience . Does it seem more stable lower or higher? It will come down to personal preference.
Unbelievable very impressive scooter ,just price is so high and it’s IPX5 not safe for rainy days
You might not be able to get a Rion but your sure can get a Slack Core 920R!
My friend preordered one a year and a half ago, and never received it yet.
Or get a Velity and have something even better.
I received 920R.There is production delay because of molding.I am riding it for 6 months.I reached 130 kmh. They made video they reach 149kmh ıt needs 300 meter breaking distance.I measured 0-100 km 6,5 sec.So I can say fastest scooter is slack.I have changed controller parameters.KI and KP torque values. And delay time to zero now it is rocket now.
@@Andrew-vt4jt
If they would simply turn the front suspension around you wouldn't need the stabilizer because the wobbles would be self resolving as you're now a *trailing* link (see the Trust Message MTB forks, out of production). TLDR; your front wheel is technically *dragging* so the arm length harmonics don't exist as a matter of practicality. If your wheel is badly crooked, dented, out of balance, or otherwise not trued in any axis, of course you're going to have vibration/wobble issues. But if your ride is in good repair and tuning, then theoretically that would design a big chunk of the instability out of the front end as well as open up options for offset steering axis that might be advantageous by varying the length and ratio of the front end arms to each other producing virtual steering head angles without moving the actual handlebar axis.
Hey guys, great work! We need to push the industry to create aero fairing kits for escooters. What are your thoughts?
They have them in the electric scooter league but it makes them almost look like street bikes. I do think there is a need for them for racing.
PMTs slow scooters a bit, wouldn't be surprised if that contributed. I lost 3-4mph on my burn e max and I've confirmed that with other people with the same scooter. I imagine it could be the same situation on this one.
More grip = more road resistance = less speed.
In Spain, if you go more than 25km/h on this vehicles, you get a 200€ penalty. This is why USA is the heaven for motorheads, and Spain is hell for those.
Excellent review.. legit 100 MPH is ready
Awesome !!! Love it. What about the acceleration data though !? I’m dying to compare the 0-30, 0-40, 0-50 etc times vs the gtr etc!!
We were going to post the numbers in our full review, once we received the production model with the Magura brakes, handlbar height and correct tires. The Roadster is the fastest in all 0-30, 0-40, and 0-50 times of any scooter we have reviewed.
How are the acceleration times on the Emove roadster vs the extreme bull k6?
That 40Ah is a Deal Breaker for me
i was expecting at least 45/50/60Ah like the teverun fighter 7260R
With the 95.5v peak battery output, the total watt hours is close to 4000. That's heaps of range and capacity.
Don't attempt to do high speeds with the Teverun 7260R. The rake angle points behind the front motor axis, putting the wheel too far forward, which is inherently unstable and proven unstable, even at 45mph. That is why Teverun now ships this scooter with dual dampers on both sides trying to mitigate the problem. It helps, but its not a fix, and steering is too hard at lower speeds. Teverun owners have reversed the front wheel and assembly to get the wheel behind the stem angle, looking like the Nami Blast, and it's 100% more stable, tested. I originally ordered a 7260R because of it's beauty, size, speed and range (SK battery) ... until I learned about this design flaw. I then had my dealer switched me to an Inmotion RS, my second choice, and I'm extremely happy. Once Teverun redesigns the 7260R, I'll be there. You can read all about the issue on the FB Teverun 7260R group.
@@benprotzmann Someone on Reddit CNC'd their own new swingarms to fix this issue, pretty neat stuff to be honest. Unfortunately most hypersscooters have terrible rake and trail and shouldn't require a steering damper which is a band-aid fix.
6:51 okay what in the world is a lady peeing in the middle of nowhere for?
are u serious? if u gotta pee u go
Guys do it so why can’t women? Make public peeing great again! 😂
Checkn the wind resistance of the front stem and its width i think is good for another 3 mph.
imagine hitting a pothole going 80 on that thing
It must be difficult to walk with balls that big!
This is absolutely crazy! Great video.
This makes it even more mad to think about that there is a custom (non production) ninebot max g30 that does about the same speed...
Like #29 that's one sweet looking scooter fast too 84v 😮
still waiting for one to be available Voro Motors hasnt released them yet. im currently driving an inmotion RS
Do u ever think of donating one of the scooters u have
I really wish I could get one.. so tired of the bus...I could use some charity
For me, going faster than 40mph isn't fun. Also, it's very dangerous. Ride safe!
60 on my nami was scary! 80+ Is unreal, I would so so do this, even on the UK roads lol
same in would too i just ordered a new scooter 60v , 55mph should get it buy tomorrow , cant wait , will see if i can get more speed from it , came with 2 years waranty
good luck getting no puncture on UK roads lmao 😅
@@Deliver-Fool not had a single puncture, I always use armadilloz for my tyres. Have done since owning.
Did yall just use a RAMP to get a SCOOTER OUT OF THE BACK OF A TRUCK? LOL YEAH because its hard for 2 girls to pick up a scooter out of a pick up. Jesus.. i bet none of you have been close enough to a woman.. AND if you did im sure she was getting a protective order from the court.
Sorry but that gear you're wearing isn't going to save you from an 80 MPH crash.
Says who?
@@patrickb133 derp?
was thinkin the same thing, dude bought textile gear used for relaxed traveling on a GS lol instead of full on leather racing one piece suit with airbag .... if that would help even....
I love the US Videos. for allowing driving faster.
Here in germany all e-scooters are limited to 12 mph max. = really sucks.
We have also good off road e-scooters.
But they are also limited to 12 mpH to get permit at public roads.
And a discussion and hope, if you get legal 2x 500 Watts engine. And not only max. 2x 250 Watt.
2.000 Watt ? .... forget it.
I would not like driving 70 mph with an e-scooter.
But 60 mph would be ok.
But you have risk to get pullover by police.
And first they check easy, how fast the e-scooter can run.
More than 12 mph ? So they confiscate the scooter. And you go on by foot.
But another thing. Your problem - my Solution for this.
Sometimes an eletric horn is too loud for the situation. ie pedestrians or bicycles.
I have a ring bell too. Like for bicycles. (A big one from China)
All e-scooters here must have a ring bell. And eletric horns may be illegal.
But you need a horn, in the fight with cars. They don´t hear or accept bicycle ring bells.
If the company that makes that brand scooter could make some super light wieght V-Shap wind shield mounted on the front im sure youd be able to get that last 6mph in there to reach the 80 mph goal & then some maybe even reach 90 mph, when im going my max at 45 mph on my Treverun fighter-11 i can really feel my whole 230 lbs body get the wind drag slowing me down. Wind drag is a big problem because your standing up straight.😌😌 But at least you tied your old speed record. 👍👍🤸🤸🤸
I would recommend you buy air bags for motorcycle riders
Just FYI for the record to be valid you have to ride both ways and then make an average out of both top speeds. This takes care of wind and incline on the track.
Tests were done in both directions.
Is this the most “STURDY” Scooter out there? Read max load was 500lb. Looking to get one for work/home commute but want to make sure it holds my weight (360lb)
A lot of of hype and more money($5800, 74mph) than my Wolf King GT($3200, 66 mph) GPS verified.
$2,600 more for only 8 more mph :/
Congrats on the puppies! Are you gonna get them PPE when you show them the little scooter ?
no this isnt the worlds fastest cuz...
Rion RE90 official peak speed is upto 100mph its rumoured it can go even faster but out of the box its limited to 80mph..
Incredible scooter wow. Also kudos for taking safety seriously. I wouldn't be able to bring myself to do that, but man, that is awesome.
He went 74 mph @7:04
I dont know why but speed does not phase me at all, i got my inmotion rs yesterday(first scooter) and i charged it up and first ride went 72.(no prot gear other than helmet) I dont get a rush from that even on a scooter lmfao, then again i build costom evs and ive gone 70+mph on a jetson bolt pro with no suspention. The only time i get a rush is doing a wheelie at 110+mph on a supermoto
50 on my Ultra Bee scares the heck outta me. I can't imagine doing it on a scooter.
The Ultra Bee is a sweet ride.
What was the 0-60mph time ?
Don't tell me he found loose bolts on a 80 mph scooter lol
Nicee, I’ve hit 67.3 mph on the wolf king GT I weigh 157lbs
that predator helmet you're wearing is TERRIBLE for PEVs. even when riding at slow speeds. someone in a group fell at slow speed and lost his teeth. please stop using the predator and tsg helmets, and wear a proper helmet
Sweet. I can go 130mph in my Lincoln. AND i can get laid in the back seat. Which is 2 thing you can never do on a scooter.
But for what is that? A 125 ccm moto cost about 2-3k new and drives same speed, but save and without risk
Everyone talks about how unsafe it is for a scooter to go that fast but motorcycles are also on 2 wheels if you fall at that speed it can be fatal I would assume.
Check with Luna Cycle and Endless Sphere on how to make it do over 100mph!
6mph faster than my old Wolf King GT for 2x the price? nah, I'm good.
What pmt tires worked with the Emove Roadster? I would like to replace the stock.

Andrew, you should test the Roadster against the Extreme Bull after the firmware upate I messaged you. That would make for a wicked race! 👍
Keep trying till you hit 80 mph
Roadrunner just dropped the RX7 72v with top speed of 75mph. Cost is about 4Gs
We tested that with true Dragy GPS and doesn’t even come close in speed. This was also tested with a Dragy.
Insane stuff. Not for me but still wild to see.
The road surface condition was not good. this is the key point for the speed
tldr - he went 74 on a dusty ass trash road - unknown tire pressures and the mechanic uses ryobi power tools lol smh get a proper motorcycle, ride five years, come back and listen to yourself talking about 74 being fast...
Sir..
another false claim by voro motors, they always lie about top speed
you guys are pansy ..... i want to ride 80 mph ...... the fastest i went is 55 on my scooter now i think it's just too slow ..... you know what forget 80 ...... i want to ride 100 mph
55 on a scooter still feels fast to me!
We just gonna ignore the lady peeing? Ok 👀
Ok on a track or closed road. Not with cars and trucks on the highway.
What about trying max speed with a low seat and foot pegs?
80mph doesn’t seem very fast to me. I’ll click the next video when it says 130 or something.
I'd like to see you standing on something that goes 80 mph and the only thing holding you on is your hands
Death scooter mine go's 40mph and its feels way too fast
I’m afraid to go over 60😂 just got it added slicks!
Now motorcycle looks as safe as a tank compare to this contraption.
I probably wouldn’t be doing 80mph but for someone like me that is comfortable riding 30-40mph scooters 1) you’re not using it in maximum at all times doing 40mph and 2) I can double my range riding an 80mph scooter at 40
Good Job Andrew & congratulations. You guys must have watched my video about the safety gears.
That road looks rough. Hit a pothole and you get to be an astronaut
Are you out of your freakin’ mind? A ‘little one on the way?
All you need is a license plate and your good to go on the highway
That ramp definitely didn’t make it any easier to unload
Ya u didn't look that comfortable with that short stem
it will just be another "GENERIC" scooter that will be forgotten and no one will remember it existed
Amazing runs! The road surface looks pretty rough. That's introducing drag. If you can find a smoother road you can probably hit 80.
