You continue to be one of my favorite knitters on TH-cam for the 2nd year now 😊 just wanted to wish you a happy new year, and let you know I appreciate and enjoy immensely your videos!
The Moby has been on my list for a while and yours turned out beautifully. The pattern requires DK + lace weight(worsted) to be knit on US6 which makes a dense fabric as you noted; I'll probably do the same for a less stiff garment. Thanks for sharing this video; it was enjoyable to watch.
Thank you so much you should totally cast it on! it takes long but is worth it! And you are right, I was mistaken about the weight, I must have been confused with another pattern. haha. but I'm still glad i switched to US7, as yes US 6 felt so dense, ❤
I was wondering if you were a French speaker because you said "We are August," and then your pronunciation of Marseille confirmed it for me, haha. Your Moby is so beautiful! It makes me want to cast on a new one in the same color even though I've already made two Mobys 😅
haha yes! I do speak French! I'm from Quebec, but currently living in Vancouver. Thank you so much! i might also cast on another one of these maybe next fall, but in a different color💚😊
Hey! I was wondering if you could tell me how you managed to line up the front with the back (while at the same time knitting 8 more rows on the front...). I'm completly lost and about to lose my head! Thanks :D
I loooove this pattern but I've never had a more chaotic and imperfect time knitting something! I don't know what happened but everything went wrong, the charts didn't line up, the motives on the sleeves weren't centered and whatnot! But at the end of the day I love it nonetheless!
I understand you, This pattern was so much more challenging than I actually thought. Which is most likely why I left it on the side for so long.. But as long as we love! 💚 our final knits and will wear them that's what counts! 🌻🌻
@@knittingwitheve Absolutely!! For once I just went with it and accepted the flaws (the pattern's so busy you don't even see them)! Yours turned out incredible!
Where in the description of the pattern does it say what the Swatch should be? what exactly does it contain and from when should the stitches be counted?
The swatch is usually listed at the top of the pattern with the yarn requirements and the sizes its listed as the Gauge, Gauge: 20 sts x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches] in texture pattern on 4 mm [US6] needles (or the required needles to obtain gauge) after wash and blocking
Hi I'm afraid I made a mistake. For the back, should I just follow the chart? I didn't read the pattern as I jumped straight into the chart and I didn't see that it said repeat row 1 to 4 one more Times. But I don't really get what it means as you would have the wrong chart going on 😢
Hi, I was looking at the pattern this morning, and i wonder do you mean at the short rows? Because if so, Yes I think its important to do that extra repeat, it helps be shaping of the sweater, and allows it falls nicely on your back. So you repeat row 1-4 while still working the chart. Best of luck on the sweater! 😊🌸
Oh it’s stunning! I’ve never been fussed by the Moby sweater but there’s something about the way you styled it at the end that has me obsessed 😍
thank you! I wore it this way to my Christmas dinner!

What did you knit as the swatch? I want to start on my sweater idk what weight of yarn to use nor what to knit as the swatch
Hi! I actually didn't make a swatch and just knit the project directly I made the small using drops karisma held with drops mohair.
