Dear Oline, thank you for your lovely video. I enjoyed it very much as I did with your other podcasts and videos. Your knitting and this specific pattern are stunning. The glimpses of the norwegian landscape und your family life add to it perfectly. I am looking forward to upcoming updates on your knitting journey. Happy knitting greetings from Germany
OMG, such beautiful work! You are so fast at knitting. You inspire me to hop on a much more difficult project of my own, I knit mostly basic sweaters. Well done! Love it
Thank you so much🫶🏻 it's been really fun to challenge myself more with my knitting! Most of the time, it's not as difficult as I've worked it up to be in my head😅
Beautiful video, sweater, dog, outdoors, well done, I appreciate your honesty about not wanting to spend more money on yarn when you can obviously achieve a gorgeous sweater with yarn that works for you, I am all for that, no need to spend so much money on yarn if you can make yourself 2 sweaters for the price of one? Drops yarn is a very nice choice, just hard to come by in California, have to order it from Canada or even further away, then you add shipping cost, and there goes the cheaper solution lol, love your German Shepard, beautiful dog, thank you for sharing your family with us, and oh yeh the snow, as I am writing this it is 81 today in San Diego, a week before Christmas, wanna trade? lol, please keep making your videos, I enjoy them so much,
Thank you so much! I'm definitely luck to live in Norway and to have yarn so accessible! I don't think I'd trade, even though it is a bit too cold here sometime (colder than -30 Celsius) I just can't handle heat😅😂
So beautiful watching you and your family outdoors, your son is so adorable with his German Shepard always close by watching over him @@norwegianknitter
I just started knitting a week ago, I know to crochet already and knitting is so hard but I'll continue to practice it, I want to make in the future a sweater like yours
I just happened upon your podcast and I'm mesmerized! Your Moby Sweater turned out beautiful! You're very talented. I bought the Moby Man Sweater & Sandnes Garn to knit for my adult son a year ago and I started, but couldn't wrap my mind around it all. I didn't want to be defeated by a pattern, but put it away for a later date. You are inspiring me to try again. I looked everywhere for a tutorial and couldn't find anything. I ended up getting the Front Porch Sweater pattern and knit it up in the yarn I bought for the Moby. So happy with the outcome of that sweater, but still have the Moby in in the back of my mind.
Wow, I don’t think you should be intimidated by any knitting pattern, you seem very accomplished! And prolific! Congratulations 🎉❤your mobs sweater! One day, I might get there, but I guarantee it will take longer than a month ! Happy knitting, from B.C., Canada, take care, Melissa
Thank you🥰 I'm definitely still intimidated by quite a few knitting patterns, especially colorwork😅🙈 Happy knitting, and I hope you get your own Moby Sweater one day❤️
Wow, I'm so impressed with how quick you knit, especially since I know you've been knitting other stuff as well during that month! Well done on your Moby Sweater, it looks great
Congratulations on finishing your Moby Sweater. It looks so beautiful on you and perfect for the snowy background. You do the best project vlogs and I could watch all day. Thank you!!
The Moby sweater is gorgeous. It looks really good on you and yes, I can see the tightness and once it’s washed if it does stretch out, it’ll be perfect and I love White person. I love white year-round. White is my favorite color color.
The Moby Sweater has been on my top 10 for many months and yours is so beautiful. You knitted that so fast as well. Nice DPN holder. 😂 I have some fingering weight yarn I can hold double, but also have Hillesvag Sol yarn which is DK. Still not sure if these yarns will be too hairy, so I'll have to swatch to decide. I will definitely keep this video in mind as I knit mine. Great yarn choice. It's interesting that with all the fiber combination Drops carries, they do not have a 100% wool in non-superwash. Since they just came out with Daisy, maybe they will have an untreated Karisma.
Moby Sweater was on my top 10 for months as well😅 good luck with your Moby!! Yeah, it's weird that they don't have a 100% wool alternative that's superwash free, but I think it might be because drops Lima (65% wool 35% alpaca, non superwash) is very similar in weight/thickness. But I hope they get a non superwash 100% wool yarn sometime.

Your family is beautiful! And your son is absolutely darling ! I love your information on the sweater thank you ! I am terrible at purling so I don’t think I will tackle that much seed stitch 😢
Your Moby sweater is beautiful. Love seeing glimpses of your life. Your son is a real cutie. Do you really knit that fast? The video seems sped up a little. I am such a slow knitter but that’s ok. I get to spend a longer time with beautiful yarns.
I would love to knit the Moby neck, but for the same reason as yourself, I felt a bit intimidated by the pattern. Do you know if the neck is the same construction as yourself sweater? Thank you for your video! Happy New Year! 🎉Happy knitting 🧶
Katja
Where in the description of the pattern does it say what the Swatch should be? what exactly does it contain and from when should the stitches be counted?
It doesn't, unfortunately! What I did was to cast on as many stitches as the gauge is, and then I knit as the chart for the body says, for as long as I had patience for, 5 cm maybe😅😂 I then measured the whole swatch to see if it was 10 cm
