@@sword-and-shield Finding dirt tracks here in Austria is unfortunately not that easy but we have some beautiful tracks. This is very interesting video with a VERY interesting subject. Brought me back 3 years ago. Long story short, I'm not one of those pedigree riders who sat on their first bike when they were 2 years old and drove up on their R1 when it was their first day of school. I started riding when I was well over 30 years old. On top of that, bough GSX-R 750 as a starter bike (my logic was "it has C mode, it will be fine"). But I digress, this intro was to explain my background around it. After a month or two, I decided to do my first longer trip (around 300 miles). By that point my head was full with knee dragging stories and what not. I end up on those open roads, twisties, what not. 90% of the time I barely had to lean my bike, even more than that I didn't have the need to move my leg from the tank, bike was easily eating those curves with barely any effort, I felt bad because I thought I'm doing something wrong, and why everyone else "has" to drag their knees, elbows and what not and there I am, barely leaning my bike, doing exact same trips... Yep, mostly smoke and mirrors. I had a guy comment on my S1000RR demo ride asking why I rode it like a moped. For one, it was at an event and two, 1000’s get up to the speed limit by just looking at the throttle lol. Even 300’s are hard to push to the limit on the street except in a straight line.

Like, on the street I can easily keep up with any non-suicidal 1000 on my Duke 390 (with the exception of very technical mountain passes because of my lack of skill). The difference between 0-60 in 3 and 5 seconds just isn’t that big in normal road conditions. Your corner speed is mostly capped by visibility, road conditions and the potential for idiots cutting your lane.

I started riding 3 years ago and a lot of what you’re saying is true within the sport bike community. I have a zx6r for reference. And one thing I noticed when riding/meeting new people is that they have way more dramatic movements like you’re displaying/explaining not to do. And I never understood it because I would take the same turn/twisty with way less dramatic/extra movement. Glad to have some confirmation bias I’m doing something right.
I remember the first time I leaned off my bike to try to drag knee, I realized how far up the bike wanted to stand and then realized if I actually wanted to drag knee properly I would have to attack that same corner at about 80-90 instead of 40-50.....don't think I'm ready for that lol. I can save the bike at 40, at 90+ if anything goes wrong I'm on my way to the meat packing factory.
I make many videos which sped up, it just for the art. The footage on camera looks much slower that it is actually is anyway, even when going 200+, i still speed it up, its actually balancing it to be more natural haha
I recognize your channel your videos are sick man I love the night time vids. But I mentioned this in a comment somewhere in here effects for videography are way different than faking vids to show off "skill"
You know riding motorcycles is such a pleasant, undramatic thing, I don't understand why people have to bring drama into it. Secondly, this reminds me of motorcycle journalists hanging off their bikes following a VW Tuareg camera car at like 40mph on a track, trying to look fast. - I always thought those shots are hilarious too. (/▽\)
Moto journos are useless. 2011 GSXR6RR: Oh my god this bike is amazing. It actually made me lunch while I was riding it. I had a transcendental experience while lapping Mugello, and now I am one with the creator. 2012 GSXR6RR SP: This bike is amazing. It fixes all the glaring defects in the 2011 model, and it cupped my balls gently and licked my ear while I was leaving the pit lane. My wife left me because she knows she can't compete with it, and I'm fine with that because I can't feel anything but euphoria when I'm within sight of this perfect bike. 2013 GSXR9RR SP: Thank god this bike isn't woefully underpowered anymore...
Haha so funny and true it really does exaggerate the sees. Even though I know you are bobbing your head to make it seem like your going faster I still found myself worried for your safety like I’m thinkijg I hope he doesn’t go too fast it looks like he’s really leaning over.
This made me laugh bro good vid... Another thing you can do to get a good idea of more realistic fast riding is to watch people who ride and talk in their mic at the same time motovlog style, kinda like this video. That way you know it's not sped up and they're just out enjoying the ride instead of tryna fake it for clout.
Haha for real. But to be fair, its not reasonable to expect someone to be fast on a track for their first time compared to dudes who have done thousands of laps on that track. If you were to flip it and the track dudes tried to keep up with street riders for their first time through twisties that a street dude has hit a thousand times then the results would likely favor the streeter.
@@jordanturner7917 you're 100% right. I have a riding buddy, he's beating me 10-15 seconds per lap on track, which is like a lifetime on the track. But on the street Im waiting for him XD and we were riding the road we're both not familiar with. Street riding is mainly measuring how "crazy" you are, and how much you're willing to risk it, while track riding is measuring pure skill. With brake markers, trail braking till the apex, etc..
@@damirradovic9116 Yeah 15 seconds you're basically riding alone lol. If you were riding on toads familiar to you and unfamiliar to him then you would be even further ahead. He may never catch up 💀. A lot of dudes are just balls to the wall thru traffic and hitting nasty ugly lines way too fast but I have a great deal of respect of street riders who can actually ride. It's definitely more dangerous but riding is inherently dangerous. That's a great deal of the appeal. You can become fast in a controlled environment, hitting the same 5-15 turns thousands of times until you're fast on it. But it's pretty sick to apply those skills to an uncontrolled environment under under some pressure. Mastering all the variables of the road. Bumps, humps, dips, cracks, holes, tar snakes, ratchet straps, cones, tires, sand accumulation, water, joints, changes in road surface, and other vehicles path of travel of course. It's a thing of beauty to see a rider who truly knows their roads.
@@jordanturner7917 I agree 100% I love road racing. The only two things which makes me enjoy track riding a bit more, is the quality of asphalt and no blind corners. So I can focus purely on riding. But yes, road racing is a thing of beauty!
Its all about image, same reason many people will purchase an r7 or something for looks (not that im shaming it if you like how it looks then cool) instead of something comfortable or the other side of the spectrum something actually sporty. The thing is even if people are leaning properly (which they often aren't) its far safer and usually just as quick (at the speeds they're going) for the average pleb to just counter balance, yeah doesn't look cool and you wont reach racetrack speeds and isn't as fun (which is a valid reason to lean imo) but at the end of the day its not a big deal. If you start scraping foot pegs, that's when you need to start leaning in, but again its a gradual thing. I often see fat blokes on an mt10 or mt07 going quicker in twisties than dudes on "race" bikes but again as long as people are having fun then its all cool we can all learn stuff and I consider myself a pretty awful rider but I like my apprehension to going too quick its saved my skin before.
Fake fast boys always trash talk people doing top speed tests too bro legit aight story time So I was scrolling ig reels and there was a top speed test of a guy on a H2R doing his test on a highway you know pretty standard video for that bike then here comes the fake speedy boy he says “I bet you’d get chopped by a 1000 in the twisties tho” checked out his profile and he has a photo of him dragging knee except it’s definitely low speed because his upper body was way too upright and was using all his leg power for his knee to just touch the ground like his bike was on a about a 75 degree angle and his body was like 60 degrees but somehow he managed to his knee to touch the ground it just looked very off and I just thought whatever probably some guy who dragged knee once and now they think they’re Marc Marquez anyway flash forward a few days this same mf comments on an ig reel of a guy doing a highway pull on a CBR1000RR and he says “I bet you’d get chopped by a 600 in the twisties tho” and then you are not gonna believe this I follow him just to see if I can spot his comments on other posts easier and I shit you not 2 days later it’s a video of a GSXR600 doing a highway pull and he says “I bet you’d get chopped by a 300 in the twisties tho” like does he just shit on everyone doing highway pulls by saying they’d get smoked by a smaller size engine in the twistes 😂😂
The hip down shoulders neutral is a staple in the fake speed demons arsenal. And you arent even trying if you dont go setup your camera in a parking lot to ride in a circle to get that perfect knee down avi
They’re so annoying. I realized 99% of the dudes with track day profile photos on Insta are total assholes to other riders, especially riders who like to roll race. Imagine making track day riding your whole personality
Exactly this, I've been riding for a while now and like to think I've gotten quite a bit faster on the street, my riding has gotten smoother and smoother, back in the day I used to try to mimic fast Bois and couldn't understand why it was so hard to go fast and shuffle around on the bike, it's all fake bs.
The longer I rode the more I realized body positioning is not important on the road. It's not a racetrack, you shouldn't be going fast enough for it to matter anyway. Except in a parking lot. If you want to get a real nice uturn snapped out, you'll need to counter weight. Fast bois don't post parking lot videos.
@2:55 what you mean 60 degrees? i rarely do 60 degree lean angle on public roads, i stay more between 50-55 when i do ride fast. or do you mean temperature?😅
ah now that makes sense. Anyway that video was hilarious instant sub. But i kinda feel you mocking me with this video now🤣. From now on i will lock my head regardless if i do 50-60 degree lean, no movement anymore hahaha. @@skyoom1

Havent watch him in a long time though
Yessir up in North GA, but big difference is he doesnt blur his speedo (which im sure defense attorney is a bit upset about currently lmao) so this isnt directed at him at all
I would really like an unedited video of some "spirited" riding from you, not for proof of anything but rather for a display of proper vision and positioning.
I prefer mastering the 600 cc and then step up to a 1000.. thats what i did.. 8 days circuit a year and after 4 years riding 600cc on circuit i was ready for a 1000
I've seen a lot of shorts from briansmoto, majority of the videos are people trying to drag knee and excessively leaning off their bike to create the illusion that they actually have good body positioning
I've always found doing double the suggested speed on a turn is really easy. I had a friend tell me that him and a group of friends would do what they called 'triples' (3x suggested speed), I don't think I'd even attempt that on public roads.
@SongJLikes yup..hes hitting 50+ degrees of lean in most corners...hes deffo got sum skills even if he is a bit of a douche...and he's vids are on an insta 360 with flow stabilisation and not sped up
Interesting perspective. So much ego among 'fast' riders. I watch guys at the track almost run off because they are riding way beyond their ability just so they can pass the girl. It's annoying.
I gotta say it’s insane how fast I have to go to actually require me to move my body position. I have a Duke 890R, which isn’t even a super sport and dude I can take most turns at 70 barely even leaning. I gotta be hitting 100+ to even need me to move my body at all. I’d have to be hitting 130-140 to need to “drag knee”. Also, you should never need to drag your knee on city streets. You have to literally be TRYING to do it, it’s not necessary though.
Coming from a 900 whp. I want to start on a 2020+ s1000rr. Don’t have any motorcycle experience. It’s got tons of safety features, low power mode, etc. Can this be done? I’m 26. But I know I’m going to want a liter bike in the end. If I’m respectful enough to the bike while learning, can this be done?
Imagine if I tried doing this, and in the end I hop off the bike & people see my 250cc MONSTAAAA bike 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 An astonishingly large chunk of social media portrayed lives & skills are FAKE.
Man is speaking facts, as someone who also likes cameras they are are using the good ol 25-60fps x shutter speed = 2xcamera fps for the "realistic" moving background making everything look faster than it really is. Will also notice that their speedo tends to be blocked. I LOVE cameras and motorcycles, finally got my dream honda mc22 (250cc bike) build done. (will post videos, old youtube acct got deleted for bs reasons) I BARELY go faster than 100kph on a straight and probably only like 80kph max on turns and with my camera settings everything looks A LOT FASTER than I am really going.
Been riding for over 20 years, sold the car! I can tell their ability if they can counter steer precisely. You won't see it in the fakes. They run wide on every corner. Good video.
What always gets me.. even if they are quick.. the road position is just baaaad for a public road. You gotta play in your own lane guys.. it does mean cornering harder, which is the fun right? Right? And in the end at slighty less outright speed which on a public road IS better from a legal perspective.
I thought chicken head syndrome was when you’re zooming on a 55 mph road at 105 and your whole upper body is relaxed and you let the bumps and slopes run through you. Like your head is bobbing because you’re not trying to take a slope to the spine. I was honestly offended for a moment.
One thing with 1000cc bikes is that they are so powerful and heavy. It’s so hard to learn all the right fundamentals on such a bike. I saw it wenn taking my mc license here in Denmark. We took the license on 600cc bikes and we had 2 in my group that just said nope and walked away. The weight and power was scaring them. I bet if they were put on 300cc bikes they would be riding now.

And I never understood it because I would take the same turn/twisty with way less dramatic/extra movement. Glad to have some confirmation bias I’m doing something right.
Bro i was crapping myself when you were going around those corners. Takes it easy bro. BTW im glad Ive never seen any on the video you’ve mentioned
Posers are gonna pose lol. We all know the truth!
as a person who hasent seen a "fastboi" video this is comdey pure
+1 Came to see what's the fuss about 😂 I'm a slow and boring rider who's just back from an easy ride in the twisties to get groceries.
lol golden video man...i feel personally attacked
@@skyoom1 haha thanks bro
your channel is very educational, and you earned a sub
Your telling me I can go 60 and make it look like i'm going fast. Man I need to take that editing course.
Solid vid dude. Keep up the good content.
Wouldn’t wanna come across bro in a street fight after looking in the bikes mirror 😂
Dude is definitely built like a tank
Haha so funny and true it really does exaggerate the sees. Even though I know you are bobbing your head to make it seem like your going faster I still found myself worried for your safety like I’m thinkijg I hope he doesn’t go too fast it looks like he’s really leaning over.
"oh shit, it's a sharp one... Weee" had me dying
Omg it’s like a magician, who finally reveals the secrets of the trick it was more fun when I didn’t know. 💯❤️🔥
Gixxer brah legit tho right? i mean he goes 150 in every vid he makes
hahahhaha this was the funniest video in a while man great job!
7:44 The guy on camera trying to look cool: -they are the guys trying to look cool 😂🤣
They're all fast until they get on the track XD
But yes, road racing is a thing of beauty!
tbh as a slow bike rider (125 and 50cc) i sometimes do stuff like this just for fun (and do not post it at 20% sped up)
Actually pathetic how some people have to speed up their footage just to feed their own fragile ego
crazy video. good stuff. What music are you using man, especially the clean section towards the 06:59 mark?
Stock audio from filmora 😂
Blablablablabla then proceeds to ride slow. 👍🏼
Fake fast boys always trash talk people doing top speed tests too bro legit aight story time
So I was scrolling ig reels and there was a top speed test of a guy on a H2R doing his test on a highway you know pretty standard video for that bike then here comes the fake speedy boy he says “I bet you’d get chopped by a 1000 in the twisties tho” checked out his profile and he has a photo of him dragging knee except it’s definitely low speed because his upper body was way too upright and was using all his leg power for his knee to just touch the ground like his bike was on a about a 75 degree angle and his body was like 60 degrees but somehow he managed to his knee to touch the ground it just looked very off and I just thought whatever probably some guy who dragged knee once and now they think they’re Marc Marquez anyway flash forward a few days this same mf comments on an ig reel of a guy doing a highway pull on a CBR1000RR and he says “I bet you’d get chopped by a 600 in the twisties tho” and then you are not gonna believe this I follow him just to see if I can spot his comments on other posts easier and I shit you not 2 days later it’s a video of a GSXR600 doing a highway pull and he says “I bet you’d get chopped by a 300 in the twisties tho” like does he just shit on everyone doing highway pulls by saying they’d get smoked by a smaller size engine in the twistes 😂😂
Fast bois don't post parking lot videos.
just started watching but i LOVE your gloves! 😍
Can you name a couple good riders? I think I know some of them but I’m sure I don’t have them all right.
Bro, if you ride and haven't fallen off, you're a good rider.
@2:55 what you mean 60 degrees? i rarely do 60 degree lean angle on public roads, i stay more between 50-55 when i do ride fast. or do you mean temperature?😅
60mph***, my b, i still trip over my words a loooot while recording. Same with saying "drastic effect" rather than "dramatic" haha
ah now that makes sense. Anyway that video was hilarious instant sub. But i kinda feel you mocking me with this video now🤣. From now on i will lock my head regardless if i do 50-60 degree lean, no movement anymore hahaha. @@skyoom1
@@Vral92Gotta move your head if you're hanging off this is for the guys who try to simulate hanging off hahaha
Also you gotten that s1000rr flashed or still running her stock?
Its completely stock. Its too much power for me anyway. Unfortunately theres nothing between 100hp and 200hp in supersports. Also i am quite tall so i have no choice but the bmw😅 @@skyoom1
You aren't doing 60 degrees on public roads lol
i tend to move my upper body to the inside of whatever corner I'm taking because it helps me direct my vision all the way through, a tiny bit of weight shifting is a bonus ig. I pray I don't look like this.
100% agree.
Slow riders look really cool, its the fast riders that look like they are compensating for something.
Tucking crazy hard for 45 mph is the dead giveaway in my opinion. I think its hilarious to do it in person BECAUSE of how stupid I know it looks
when my cat gets the zpomies i call him a fast boi!!
What is the name of that song ,i need to get so I can go faster,it gives you around 50 more horsepower
Great vid 👍
So many tubers trying to score points
Crazy its looks like you are very close to the ground with the editing and headbobing
This is hilarious ma man 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
So that’s the secret of how to go faster
lol he doesn’t explain why the speedos in the “fast bois” videos I look at are actually fast. You could take those turns at 100mph pretty easy. lol.
Your channel is awesome bro. Youre from georgia, too, right? What part?
Also, its funny because max wrist is literally exactly what you were describing with all the effects, speeding up video, and hopping side to side on the bike, etc. except he actually does ride those suicide speeds and wrecks all the time hahaha. Havent watch him in a long time though
Yessir up in North GA, but big difference is he doesnt blur his speedo (which im sure defense attorney is a bit upset about currently lmao) so this isnt directed at him at all
I started riding on a speed Triple 1050 , been riding one year , i still watch out what i am doing , dont wanna end up in a box
I would really like an unedited video of some "spirited" riding from you, not for proof of anything but rather for a display of proper vision and positioning.
"Weee" 😂 🎉
What channels do this? I don’t keep up with motorcycle channels, but it would be funny to see?
I like Gixxer Brah but would never ride like that, lol.
Didn’t he get arrested
I prefer mastering the 600 cc and then step up to a 1000.. thats what i did.. 8 days circuit a year and after 4 years riding 600cc on circuit i was ready for a 1000
How do you record your audio in your helmet?
Ordered a $25 wired mic off amazon, I bought a wireless one too but it picks up wind noise too bad to be useable 😞
I've seen a lot of shorts from briansmoto, majority of the videos are people trying to drag knee and excessively leaning off their bike to create the illusion that they actually have good body positioning
You should come to Ireland You be dangling every two seconds and no bobbing heads just survive. Scotland similar experience
I've always found doing double the suggested speed on a turn is really easy. I had a friend tell me that him and a group of friends would do what they called 'triples' (3x suggested speed), I don't think I'd even attempt that on public roads.
Max wrist better watch out now 😂 good vid bro
he in jail bro
As big of a jackass as MaxRisk is, he is a very fast rider for real
Sped up vids to trick kids. So noticeable if you ride.
Good video man and it so true, love the music to drive safe brotha
I been riding for awhile and aside from one fast fly by video on my channel (a short) I’ve never really gone out of my way to look fast.
Imagine if I tried doing this,
and in the end I hop off the bike & people see my 250cc MONSTAAAA bike 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
An astonishingly large chunk of social media portrayed lives & skills are FAKE.
do you call your bike a gsxr 1000 or a GIXXER THOU?
Gixxer of course
Please list some examples of those channels!
LoL dude had to give a like on this, funny as heck. Wish I could be faster but defs need a brake upgrade on the old girl.
Suzuki okes for life!
(will post videos, old youtube acct got deleted for bs reasons)
I BARELY go faster than 100kph on a straight and probably only like 80kph max on turns and with my camera settings everything looks A LOT FASTER than I am really going.
Correct , jerky movements cause accidents . Cheers
340kmh zooooom -Look a fake fastboy.......😂🤣
I can't give respect to people who drive on the streets like they're on a racetrack, there is enough lost souls on the roads like that
You forget to change from mph to kph for more realistic
Been riding for over 20 years, sold the car! I can tell their ability if they can counter steer precisely. You won't see it in the fakes. They run wide on every corner. Good video.
Dude only uses second gear...imagine goin faster with 6 gears !!1
I'm semi guilty of this, but only on highway turns 😂 😢
What always gets me.. even if they are quick.. the road position is just baaaad for a public road. You gotta play in your own lane guys.. it does mean cornering harder, which is the fun right? Right? And in the end at slighty less outright speed which on a public road IS better from a legal perspective.
i love the wee ''weeeee'' :D
I thought chicken head syndrome was when you’re zooming on a 55 mph road at 105 and your whole upper body is relaxed and you let the bumps and slopes run through you. Like your head is bobbing because you’re not trying to take a slope to the spine. I was honestly offended for a moment.
Ghost rider was for real dawggg
One thing with 1000cc bikes is that they are so powerful and heavy. It’s so hard to learn all the right fundamentals on such a bike. I saw it wenn taking my mc license here in Denmark. We took the license on 600cc bikes and we had 2 in my group that just said nope and walked away. The weight and power was scaring them. I bet if they were put on 300cc bikes they would be riding now.
I had a guy in my basic rider course get scared and quit on a kawi eliminator 250
@@delta9554
Ehh okay, then riding wasn’t for him 😁 a 250cc is really easy to ride and I think confidence inspiring too
@@Mr450pro that’s what I thought too. They were so easy to handle and I had never ridden before. This guys problem I think was he thought the clutch was like an on/off switch. Some people just aren’t built for bikes
clue number 1: they blur or otherwise obscure their speedo.
i ride some track and yes there i hang of but on the street i dont really do it only before track days to practice body position but not to go faster
Complete non rider here could never probably will mever - your regular "Whee" clips look like you got pretty low 😂 gave me anxiety 😂
would be nice if you included a reference to such video
