Malnutrition has been and STILL IS a MAJOR problem in the "richest" country in the world. Even when one can start to afford to eat good, as the body ages, recovery must become paramount and well, only he knows if he invested in that in his earlier years. Had a great career, made a strong comeback. Still alive and a stand up person, that's the mark of a champion regardless of a ring.

He was drafted by Blazers and was a total monster at Euro basketball. Was his timeline just off, or did he suffer because of playing Euro league, instead of NCAA basketball? He was considered probably even bigger talent than Lauri Markkanen, definitely bigger talent than Hanno Möttölä, who did make it to the NBA as a role player for many seasons.

I am a bit biased towards Iverson because he played at Georgetown, and he played in many of the DC summer leagues where is first get to see him play live… I remember vividly seeing his wiry freakishly long arms rising above players nearly a foot taller and make a thunderous put back dunk. The crowd going crazy as the announcer kept yelling “Bubba Chuck, don’t do that to em’ Bubba Chuck! Watched so many games at Georgetown ~ even when he was in Philly, many winter nights me and my homies would take that drive to Philly to catch A.I. He was so fast, it was unreal watching him move so fast amongst giants. He played hard to, the whole game. lol. Unbiased I would say Rose because he was bigger, and slightly stronger. But A.I at his prime was a ridiculous athlete
