Your JLPT N5 TH-cam lessons are the best. I love the explanations. I always look forward to your videos. Thank you so much!
I got all of them right! improvement from when i couldn't understand any a month ago
I've been studying japanese since Summer 2020. I understood 95% of the listening test. I feel so emotional I've come this far, but obviously まだまだ先がありますよ。Thank you for your videos, Mochi. Your easy explanations give me motivation to keep trying.
Nice! What are you using to study?
well done💪🔥
I'm studying Japanese on Facebook and TH-cam since November 2022, and try my best to learn your lessons are very understandable mochi Sensei arigatou gozaimasu
Okay. These are the best. Two months ago i could'nt understand anything, but on this one everything correct. Thank you mochi!
wow!!!! it's not me, it's you make so much
effort! keep it up🔥
Guys I think I went way and beyond and I'm now jlpt 10
Mochi sensei. Has to have a great talent in Japanese, without that, its impossible to even describe and define yourself in Japanese.
I think 男の人と女の人が話しています is forever gonna be seared into my mind
Right T-T
I know!!!
私も! (笑)
lol so true
😂
I like the vedio because it is good for all students which are studying for N5
Thanks
that's crazy! 11:46 you go "i think this one was a bit hard" broooooo that was the first one i actually got 🤣🤣
It was easy tbh

I only got one correct.. I'll have to study harder. This practice really helped me understand where I'm at. I've been living in Japan for a month now and I can get by with everyday Japanese phrases, but I'd love to start listening and speaking like this someday. Thanks Mochi sensei!
授業がありがとうございました。三回ビデオすべてのN5質問が正しい!私は少し難しいなN4質問準備と思います!
Thanks for the lesson. I managed to get all 5 questions correct for the 3rd video! I think I'm good enough for some more difficulty N4 stuff because of your content!
Mochi Sensei、ありがとうございます!OMG, i got them all correct!❤ I used to follow your Instagram but now I will start watching your TH-cam. Please keep up with your good work! Your explanation was so clear. Thank you🙏🏼
ありがとうございます
Sensei your explain so good ❤
I need more of these. Very helpful!
thank you mochi sensei its a useful way to practice listening
These videos are great practice. I can’t believe I understood as much as I did and got them all right. Thank you, Mochi Sensei! 😭
I've been learning with Duolingo and Japanese series on Netflix for over a year and I still can't understand half of this.. 😭 What are you using to practice?
Glad you like them🌼
@JK-xi8iv I'm a scavenger so I basically use anything I can but I'll try to list the resources I use most frequently:
Instead of Duolingo I use Lingodeer and find it much better. I feel it's more active, but I haven't used Duolingo in a long time. Then I use the Genki text/workbooks. From what I understand they are the standard for Japanese textbooks. Then on iOS I use an app called Benkyo which gives me automated SRS flashcards and really helps me learn to read and write Kanji. As for listening, I watch copious amounts of anime, listen to music in Japanese, and frequent Japanese TH-cam channels for listening exercises. Music is pretty good for remembering words because catchy tunes just stick easier, especially compared to flashcards. Twitter is also nice for trying to read what everyday people are saying.
I also tried just binging Japanese shows on Netflix without subtitles, but I wasn't getting much out of it. I think I just needed to build a stronger foundation first before diving in super deep. I still watch anime with subtitles, but I can definitely hear specific words and phrases mush easier now.
@@JonnoKun I'm basically a scavenger when learning the language so I just find sources and use them, but I do have some resources I use consistently:
Lingodeer is my substitute for Duolingo. I started with Duolingo but I think Lingodeer is just better. I also use Genki, which seems to be the standard textbook for learning the language, especially grammer. And I use an app on iOS called Benkyo which lets you set up automated SRS flashcards which help me learn to read and write Kanji and other vocab words by JLPT level.
For listening, I use youtube channels like this one, educational podcasts, copious amounts of anime (with subtitles still), and songs. I tried just diving into Netflix shows with no subtitles and realized I wasn't getting much out of it. I think I just needed to build a stronger foundation. I can't understand everything in music or shows, but I can recognize some words and phrases and I find music to be an easier way to remember words since good music is naturally catchy.
@@JonnoKun try AJATT
Thanks you i become better
The first one is complicated but after that I aced the exam !
Thank you so much, I'm losing the hope to learn the listening part ❤❤
How did you get so good at English, it's impressive! thank you for the video
Thank you for this lesson. You do a great job explaining. That last question was really confusing for me as I heard only hospital and post office but not movie theatre.
Thank u so much sensei❤❤from neparu jin🥰🥰
Thank you sensei
ありがとうございます先生。よくわかりました。
Finally I can understand enough to make a good try. The learning method is good. It is so helpful to have the answers to look at. Without them, it would be a bit harder.
Excellent!✨
Thanks
ありがとうううう!🩷
Thank you sensei for the video, it really helped to improve listening practice 😊😊🙏🙏
Glad to hear that!✨
I can't believe I got them all right! Thank you so much mochi-sensei! Your classes are helping a lot
今中々練習は時間がないのでN5を合格しましたがレベル上がられないな〜、back to basics we go! Really wanted to get N4 this year
i love these videos! im so excited i got the meat questions right 😚
Glad you like them!💖
もち先生。Sos muy linda. Es un placer mirarte y aprender.
Gracias.
Thank you for trying to help this incompetent linguist. I really do appreciate it!😢
My pleasure!✨
If you haven't said about 1111, probably I wouldn't got it. I think the first question got to do a lot with Japanese culture.
These videos just make me realise I will never learn Japanese. 2 years in and can't understand a word.
Please don’t give up on it. I started learning 6 years ago but I’m still N5. That’s because most of those years was just me slacking off. These past 4 months, I actually put the effort to study everyday and immerse, and i improved more in those 4 months than I ever did for those 6 years. Started out the 4 months only knowing how to write the letters + a few words + basic grammar, ended up being able to write half a page essay and starting a journal/diary completely in Japanese. I also believed I could never learn but obviously, i was proven wrong so please keep going
what materials do you use to learn? i relied solely on duolingo for the past one and a half years which is not recommended but i managed to get four answers right
Trust me man, I know exactly how you feel. I’ve been studying for 6 plus years and it’s like my brain can’t put together the pieces when I hear Japanese.
What makes it even more frustrating is that, I hear so many words that I recognize, but as I said, my brain just can’t string the pieces together to make a sentence that I can understand.
Still, don’t give up! This is coming from the guy who made the mistake of using Romanji at first. lol
Me too. One year and I can't understand long sentences. I think these long sentences are not for N5
がんばってよ! Japanese is a hard language, and there are many ways to learn it. I'm also 2 years in and only getting through some. Keep going!

Keep it up😍
Mochi sensei really cute ^^
New subscriber here. Love your content especially for me learning N5 ❤😘
Awesome! Thank you!💖
so helpful! I recently moved to Tokyo and I'm trying to improve my Japanese as much as I can! One thing I have wondered though, why when asking if someone wants to eat is a negative version of the verb used?
一緒に食べませんか
ありがとうございました。
great!
ませんか?is one grammar "would you like to..."
so don't think that it's negative form or anything, it's just that it's ませんかform!👍
@@mochirealjapanese3430 そうですね! 分かりました、教えてくれてありがとう! 🙏😁
I answered all 5 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Im planning on watching these jlpt n5 more because while i understand the words i just get thrown off with the question so to help with test taking as well as advanced videos

I don't get 100% of the grammar but I got all the questions right, maybe I'm almost ready too JLPT N5 :^D

It's hard for beginners if they don't have enough vocabulary.
