ah i got tripped up with the first one and thought it was the blue shirt because i interpreted "いいです" literally to mean "that one's good" rather than politely delclining. the nuances of politeness and indirectness really get me sometimes !! ;_;
Mm but remember he doesn't say それ、これ、あれ, etc. Just "it's fine" I might've gotten it because I've said it like that before Like, oh uhh it's fine, then (nvm)
Kind of a vent but I hope I’m not alone when I say this, I’ve been studying Japanese for over six years and for some reason, Japanese listening is my kryptonite. It’s like my mind cannot process what they’re saying in real speed. If I was reading it on the other hand, it’s easy.
thats exactly how i am... i'd argue that im upper n4 but i just cant get listening down. i will say i am getting better with at least 20 min of comprehensive listening a day!
Id highly recommend doing listening practice with Shun he does many vlogs N5-4 and the more you listen the more you learn. Id also recommend to fully understand the sentence structure and to adapt a ‘zoom in’ japanese brain
I found that watching Japanese media without any subtitles really helps my listening. I was using Japanese subtitles but realized I was focusing on reading too much. Now I've forced myself to just listen and it's helping!
@@britty23 My problem with listening to that kind of content, is that they talk way too fast for me to discriminate each word. Sometimes I just have to listen 3-5 times to 1 sentence to be able to know which words they said :(
This is so great! I'm brushing up on my Japanese after 25 years of not using it (going to Tokyo this winter), and I love the format of these exercises!
as someone who is learning japanese almost 2 months im glad i understand the sentences even just a little, shadowing, speaking, learning kanji and sentences with both kanji and kana has been so helpful i hope it's easy in the long run as it is now thank you
Hi! I've been practicing my japanese listening training with Sensei Mochi for around a week and I can tell that I am getting better already!! Thank you for making these videos! 😊💗💖
Every time i try this video i think the last question difficulty is not in Japanese but in mathematics😋.Jlpt 5 training is so hard😂.I will take the opportunity to thank Mochi Sensei😊.
Is there a reason why his lunch being bread would mean that he would want coffee over tea? Is there something I'm missing about drinking tea and eating bread at the same time that I am missing?
Mochi Sensei please clear my doubt for the n5 exam Syllabus. is there only listening and reading?..please please help me. Is there also writing and speaking in the syllabus?. I will be giving exam next month.
There are 3 sections. The first is vocabulary, where they ask you to know how to read some kanjis in words or the oposite, and select the correct word for a situation. The second is grammar and reading where they ask you for some grammar points (usually which one is correct for a situation) or ordering the words, and riding comprehention. And the final one is listening, where they ask you to listen an answer, some questions are like this sometimes they show you a picturr and you have to guess what is the person saying, and sometimes they give you some written info and you have to answer using the audio and the info.
I listened to the last one like 5 times and I could only hear her say ゆんじゅう、五人. And was like what the hell is yunjuu! I didn't hear yon at all! But the rest I got no problem!
Lol really. Even today, now knowing what she says, it still sounds like a yu sound not a yo sound. Which tells me I need to be exposed to much more Japanese content!
Please can you do more of these but all N levels. Also an idea theres a youtuber that does japanese learning through learning games showing cut scenes and breaking down the conversations i think it would be.good if someone does that but with anime and manga i asked him will he be doing that but he said hes just sticking to gaming. I think you could be even more successful doing this too. PLEASE DO IT!!! 🙏 HAHAHA Game gengo the channle is i think this style and that will compliment each other. No one else is doing it.

@@insidiosity We kind do the same in english by saying. "I am good" Most people that means that you would be fine witout it.
