Dance of Pales - Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (solo piano cover)

- HAPPY CASTLEVANIA SEASON 3 RELEASE EVE I AM SO EXCITED I rewatched seasons 1 and 2 like, twice this past week haha!!!! I can't wait to see the new vampire squad and I love Trevor and Sypha's new outfits and where they're going to go with the story from here!! Anyways this was THE perfect opportunity to get out another Castlevania cover--the reason why these SOTN covers have been extremely slow going is that they are SO HARD, like some of the most technically difficult things I've ever written for myself and I'm like...WHY!?!?!? but it can't be helped. For example, Dance of Pales just HAS to be four minutes and 17 seconds of parallel RH octaves. I just can't hear it any other way!!!! lol!
As such, since I have small hands and parallel octaves are one of my greatest weaknesses ever, I've actually been practicing this since like...October hahaha. It's still not quiiiiiiite where I'd like it to be but I'm kinda really wanting to move on with my life lol so here it is, for better or worse. THAT MODULATION AT THE END WAS HELL OMG. AHHHH
Anyways, hope you guys enjoy and i hope you're as excited for season 3 as I am, I am LITERALLY going to tune in at 12:01am to watch it lol, I have a few more SOTN arrangements on my back burner but I'm gearing up to record a Final Fantasy Tactics arrangement next because it's been WAY TOO LONG since i got back to FFT. i don't do many waltzes on my channel because i totally hate waltzes, but jazz waltzes and Castlevania waltzes are another thing ENTIRELY lol. - เพลง

I've seen other covers of Dance of Pales with more views than this, but yours is the most precise note and tempo wise. The best I'd say. I'm not saying that those of others are not good ( they're amazing on their own) but purpleschala did the song justice. Thank you for this. This deserve more views.

I finished playing SotN (for the 100th time) just yesterday. One of the best OSTs out there to this day! And, as always, you're nailing it! Happy season 3 for us all. I hope it's even better than season 2!
AHHHH DID YOU SEE THEY JUST RELEASED IT FOR MOBILE???!! =D naturally, i bought it immediately even though I own four versions already lmao because it is the GOAT for me omg, amazing, amazing game!!!!! And YES! i am so hype!!! I don't like how they did Hector dirty omg I hope he gets himself out of his current predicament! But i am SUPER curious as to how Isaac's story will play out! It's crazy how Dracula got killed off so early, but interesting how Carmilla is shaping up to be the big villain, I guess.

But yeah, I hope Hector evolve into a cool main protagonist like in the game. I love how Isaac is in the series so I expect a lot from him.
And I suspect Dracula was killed that fast because he's going to come back as an ultimate vilain, really hating mankind this time. Season 2 he was just griefing. For now I imagine Carmilla AND Isaac are going to play an important role as main vilains, and I like the idea
@@IottiPH OMG!!! i love your ideas, I hope you're right, that would be so cool!!!! I love how Carmilla and Isaac were brought to the forefront. It'd be cool to see some other protagonists, but I can see how it'd be tough to work in.
@@purpleschala if Hector comes to play a manor role, we would have 4 main protagonists. That might be hard for them, specially because Hector is in a different part of the story. But I want them all!
And, something I haven't asked others, but were you also disappointed about Hector and Isaac's familiars? I love how they were in the game. I'd like to see something more like that now

This is my absolute favorite Castlevania song of all time, and after listening to many covers over the years I must say you've managed to do it justice in a way I've never heard before. You're an incredible pianist, and I would love to one day hear how astounding Successor of Fate from harmony of dissonance would sound if you performed it.

This is my favorite Castlevania song! This waltz was actually how I learned to separate my hands on the keyboard and play two different things at the same time since it has such great bass chords and a memorable memory (does that make sense?). Lol but I've never once been able to do the parallel RH octaves because I have tiny hands! I feel!
