Michiru Yamane is such a Godess, I had the opportunity to met her and have both Symphony of the Night and Curse of Darkness CDs signed by her, they are a true treasure. Then she performed solo with her piano for about 1 hour, people were jaw dropped by her
That's amazing!! She is a wonderful composer. It's cool that SotN's two most iconic contributors were women, Yamanae and Ayame Kojima!
That would be my greatest treasure if I had the same opportunity. That will forever be a timeless masterpiece. You are the luckiest person ever.

Nah, this was a castlevania cover. Everyone who went knew this what they were going to see. You should see the whole thing. Everyone cheered when Michiru Yamane first came in stage since she composed at least half the songs they were playing.

Such a beautiful arrangement. I love how at times this sounds just like the ost version, then you get some unexpected piano embellishments and it becomes a powerful new take on a familiar melody. What a terrific composer!
