So... I'm not really an anime fan myself but I got to know this composition when I had a student who wanted to play it, and I completely understand its appeal because it's a gorgeous waltz that works very well as a piano solo piece of the 21th century. I wanted to play it myself so I looked around at various arrangements and found this one by Animenz which turns it into a proper virtuosic concert piece, with textures that are incredibly rich and sparkling but also very demanding. I spent around 4 weeks learning it but it would have felt even more comfortable in the hands if I had given it some more time (I squeezed it in between other recording sessions this semester). But I figured I'd upload this anyway! You can find the original Animenz version through the link in the description; he plays it extremely well but we also differ slightly in our interpretative choices, as all pianists do.
This is one of the best covers of any Animenz Arrangement I have ever seen.
It'd be awesome if you arranged Idol by Yoasobi. It's J-pop but has the potential to sound amazing as a virtuosic classical piece.
Obrigado!
Wow! Animenz arrangements are sooo difficult to play! Great job!! 😍
Lovely!
awsseome bro i lovvved iit
Can you do more Bach please? I would truly appreciate your touch with fugue 9 art of fugue
Beautiful play!Could you explain the harmony of this piece??
Thanks! Yeah, I think I will do an analysis video on this later this year, but not necessarily on this arrangement, rather something easier for that.
Imagine a Strauss waltz with Debussy writing the chords. Its in G minor but with the occasional picardy cadence into G major.

Hello, this may sound like a silly question, but how long have you been playing the piano? I'd love to make this sound but I'm still a beginner. Thank you for your answer and for reproducing this incredible sound.
I've been playing for 30 years now.
@@HKilhamn thank you for your replyy
