    Thanks for posting this. Ive been trying to figure out how to get the rubber out without wrecking it.

    Man that turned out really nice! You had me worried with the dremel but you did great. I’ve got one suggestion for your videos though. I’m not a big fan of the music being so loud. I don’t normally say anything but it was way to loud… Don’t take that the wrong way. It was a great informative video! Thank you!

    I own a 67 f100 and it has trim that was only made one year. It is super rare smaller than the other f100’s. You have helped me vastly. I have a question about bent pieces and how to straighten them. Is it possible?

      I will think so, it depend how thick they are, you can always try to get as close. Mine had a hole and a welding shop was able to fill the hole. It really depend how bad they are but if rare, give it a shot.

    Did the rubber/vinyl install easily, or did you use any kind special technique?

      Yes and no! The long one that goes on the side of the bed, I did one I-2 days and didn't have much trouble putting the rubber back in. The second one, I got side track and it took me maybe 2 month to finish it. The rubber shrinked and it was very hard to push it back into the grooves. The stretch was an easy fix, left it under the florida sun but it was still hard to get it in the grooves even with W40 and dish soap. But I was able to do it with a lot of elbow grease. So don't do like Frenchy don't leave the rubber out for too long 😃

    Frenchyinflorida.... I have a 83 f100 that I need to remove the chrome trim but I can not find even one video that shows how to remove trim on this model. Do you have any idea how to do this? Thanks...

      Hi, i will think that they use the same kind of plastic clip. The best way to know will be to look online on the LMC shop or bronco graveyard to see how are the replacement parts, that may help you to understand how to remove the trim.

    what polishing compound did you use on the wheel?

    • @lesagecustoms4668
      @lesagecustoms4668  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I use the brown polishing compound from Harbor Freight, can be use on most metal, aluminum, copper..

      Thanks for your feedback Sir, I agree with you, english not being my first language I might be a little shy and try to cover it up with the music 😀.

      @@lesagecustoms4668 cool. How many hours did this take. It looks time consuming.

      @@COULDbWORSE1 Yes it is time consuming, but once it is done it look pretty good! A shop asked me $1500 to do everything, I will say that it took 1hoir per trim depending on the length of course, it is just a lot of elbow grease, going on the same area with different grit maybe 4-5 times but in the end it is rewarding, and it is original, you can get those upper trim at Dennis Carpenter but it is like $800 or more, an hour on a week end is ok, just do one every once in a while 😉
