Yes! Getting older with creaky joints it’s even more vital to keep active and an e-bike is a brilliant way to get the miles in. If you get one use a really good bike shop where they can get you a few options in to try out. Love watching your channel
Well the salt lorrys are out tonight in the midlands and im thinking about how to dress for a ride tomorrow and heres our leader living it up. E bike sounds a great idea go for it
Sarah go for the e-bike, you get just as good if not more of a workout and your overall fitness improves much more quickly than on a non e-bike. I got mine to commute to work and I was amazed by it. I got mine from Decathlon, great value and great bike 😊
I got myself a Ribble gravel ebike. With the battery extender I can get over 100 miles. So a massive game changer for me. As my longest rides were 70 miles
Glad you liked the e-bike Sarah loved the video. My wife and I bought and e-bike each a few years ago we go for miles up down hills with little effort and we enjoy our rides we love it.Where's and how is Mary?
look at conversion kits before buying. I've been building and riding ebikes for ten years now and always buy the bike then convert it; its much cheaper and so easy to do if you know your way round a bike.
That route looks awesome, well done and don't blame you going for an E bike, after all your on holiday so enjoy it :) ... I myself rented a E fat bike a few years ago in Lanzarote to ride the beaches and dusty tracks and it was amazing .. hoping to do something similar in a few weeks 😁
Thank you for sharing your adventure. I have both e and normal bikes. I was negative about e bikes. But its a game changer! Such fun! Mine is a Cube and it doesn't creak lol x
I'm so reluctant to try one because I know I'll love it. As you said, a test ride will end up costing you about £7 grand. 🙃 I see a couple well into the 80s riding their e-bikes when I do my daily loop. I'm absolutely for them - watching those two still getting out and about completely validates e-bikes in my mind. I'm persevering without e-help for now but I am certain one will feature in my future. That weather... oh the summer seems so far away now. Really hate this time of year.
Hi Sarah. Love your adventures. Lot braver than I am! I've got quite a nice mountain bike (specialised, 29 inch wheels, hydraulic brakes with rock shocks but a hard tail. Converted it to mid engine ebike using a kit. Very pleased with the results.
I did my first C2C this year, after buying an ebike in 2019. The mental health benefits of doing that are hard to measure, and I think the ebike naysayers need to realise there's more to cycling than trying to improve your VO2 Max. No matter which direction I choose to leave my house, I either have the choice of doing 2 massive steep climbs, or borderline suicidal riding on a 60mph trunk road with no cycle lane. If I didn't have an ebike, I just wouldn't bother cycling because I don't find it enjoyable to start every ride with such steep climbs. My bike cost £1200, but if I was going to buy another one I'd just buy a nice frame and fit a mid-drive motor to it - there are kits made by brands you've heard of that will fit pretty much any frame.
Hi just found your channel and just wanted 2 say it's brilliant I love it ! How refreshing it is to see just normal people riding bikes and having fun rather than ego filled nonsense. Hope you've got more videos in pipeline and wonder if you did the DR this year? You've inspired me to have a go😂

Is your mid-drive motor a Bafang, and if so, what type ?
Cheers.

E bikes on my horizon. Weight is a problem and getting onto racks etc. What about a video trying a range of ebikes!
