I wanna see them include an Adventurer's Guild that everyone can buy into being a part of which will also have quests that are locked behind "Adventurer Rating" or something. So, have the quests for the merchants that increases their inventories but also have the Adventurer Guild quests which can be tracked across the playerbase so people have another type of "leaderboard" to grind toward, besides HR leaderboard, by trying to be the Rank 1 Adventurer for questing through the Adventurer's Guild. Think it would fit the theme/lore of the game very well. I also agree with the arrows slowing needing to be removed. The longbow literally hits as hard as most of the 2h melee weapons in the game while being able to do it from across the room lol. Literally cheaters are using range hacks on barb to use their axes when they could just play ranger and shoot people for the same damage without needing to be cheatin rats lol. The slow on arrows makes literally every fight a ranger takes theirs to win or lose.
The Longbow has no business doing the damage that it does, it’s also stifling Ranger build diversity, nobody uses Recurve or Survival at the highest level.
Damn dude yall got me thinking how incredible it would be if shield slam was like a mini gap closeing charge. Nothing crazy, just a very small gap close. This might be too strong, but imagine if the shield is active during the charge, so you can just charge through arrows as well. That would be FUN!
I hope the new player experience releases soon, Im trying to help my friends who just got the game, but I'm not good enough to kill everyone who fights us, and there's too many geared squads rolling us to ever build up a good stash. It's hard to fight blue and purple loot as a grey squad :(
One of the biggest struggle for new players is certain classes (casters mainly), the starting weapon (staff) is so slow to cast and the swing pattern is terrible. Nobody would swing a staff that way LOL. This is why Wiz/Cleric and probably Warlock are underplayed classes
need more maps, some PvE only maps for new players, more harder maps with good loot for the people with greens+, a gearscore mechanic that stops juicers from rolling newbies
I wish we could of witnessed another Mustached man on the podcast. Lucky for Jay Sequisha's cam wasn't working... that bronze pickaxe needs some work. Also, pumped you got sequisha on he has been one of the most consistently entertaining twitch streamers for as long as I can remember. Great Stuff.
I think geared ppl rolling normal lobbies is the biggest problem atm. I didn’t play until 5 days into the wipe and it’s horrible to get into with default shit kits vs fully kitted ppl just dancing on ur Corps in normals
Monthly wipes would chase away most casual players. I think two or three month wipes is way better. Keep in mind, most people can't play 4-5hrs a day. Also, consider that the stash is so small that wipes might not be needed. It doesn't really provide much of a benefit
It would be good if they put longswords, hammers and other large weapons on impact to break bones and slow enemies down for a few seconds. Because it's hard to catch them with a weapon in hand, and when they take off everything, it's impossible
What do you think about leaderboard rewards? Cosmetic only equipment for being top 100 or top 1000 or something. This way people have more reason to do HR and grind ranks outside just being on the top 10 leaderboard to promote your TTV lol.
Personally i would like a gear score, I haven't got alot of time to play with work and my family and neither do my friends every lobby that isnt successful we are wiped by full sweats in BiS who are killing the entire normal lobbies instead of going into HR. It really does ruin my experiences and i know a few people who say the same
*Adjusts the glasses* Well... That is interesting, I always wondered why sorcs had high charisma. It's just when I run into them it's the most blatant thing in the world so I'm surprised they aren't running into cheaters AT ALL. type of thing, since they're probably spamming the game more than I am lol.
The problem with Tarkovs cheats are that their netcode was designed to be a browser game, and somewhere along the line it got upgraded to a full game, but they never reworked all the browser netcode, so it's just not secure. They are currently doing a complete rewrite of the netcode, they even put off the 3rd streets expansion to get really good netcode, to assist the their anti cheat. Part of it is already in, and there has been a lot less desync lately as a result. People really need to stop saying they like the cheaters. Nikita has been VERY explicit that he hates cheaters, they make his life hell, and he has to spend time every day trying to find solutions for it. They also refuse to do any kernal level anti cheat because it would require their software looking at every aspect of your computer, which they are against on principle (Makes sense being russian and all and not liking their government).
It was a joke. They have said explicitly in other episodes that it's just a joke and that they don't ACTUALLY believe it. Its just a funny way to criticize their years and years of neglect on the topic of cheaters. The same kind of criticism that got them to (attempt to) finally fix their game. So if anything, you should be thanking the critics for getting the changes that everyone wanted.

It doesnt have to be super handholding, hell there doesn't even have to be any dialogue/text/guidance at all, but atleast set it up in a way where players are naturally learning through gameplay in a controlled environment, taking enemies one or two at a time... instead of just spawning first game in a potentially toxic spawn, barely survive the first pve encounter, just to get run down by 3 cloaked goons lol.
