    Liberia is a country comming up, this is the time to invest and grow. Liberians are hard working, polite and friendly people. Those who take the opportunity to invest will reap the benefits. One africa one people.

      Some of us care about who we got our independence from. ( never colonized) Its about GETTING THE FACTS RIGHT!! Especially when you speaking with conviction. What else can you be saying that is untrue? Maybe, atleast you can edit the video. I stopped watching when I heard the statement of independence.

      Yes, we'll see how great it's by the way it makes business deals with foreign countries coming in to improve their citizens' lives in their countries at the expense of Liberians' well-being. A country is only great when its people's needs are taken care of. Do you know what happened in Bong Mines? The Germans left the place in a mess with craters after they were done mining iron old.

    Liberia 1847 Independence day
    came from the United States of America and not United Kingdom.
    July 26, 1847
    Liberia, which means “land of the free,” was the first nation on the African continent to gain its independence on July 26, 1847 from the United States of America, which is why Liberian Independence Day is celebrated on July 26.

    • @yilmeh1
      @yilmeh1 ปีที่แล้ว

      You're not colonized in words but you're mentally and in reality. Compare yourself with other free countries in the world who chose their own leaders and execute their dreams for the development of their people and countries. When you can do that freely, then you're truly free from colonization.

  • @WillsJazzLoft

    The statement about independence is not accurate. Liberia was not a colony in the traditional definition. It was settled by free blacks from the US. Although the US did sponsor them through the American Colonization Society, the US government was from the beginning for the most part hands off when it came to political involvement in Liberia. In fact, that US actually wanted to divest itself of Liberia as soon as it was politically and economically feasible. That was why Liberia gained it's independence early on

The gdp is non existent because of the corrupt government. There is a 80 percent unemployment rate. Foreign countries are not investing in Liberia because of the corruption. Roads are bad, infrastructure is horrible, no electricity, water, waste system is non existent. This video is bullshit. This might be cdc video.
