This is a really good starting point for everyone interested in the lore. If you continue, you might be able to be the "Fallout Lore" guy for Starfield!
I hope so :) i’m gonna add some flavor to the lore scene the best i can, it’ll be a process but i’ll get better with each video and learn as much as i can each step of the way
This is what i like thanks mate been looking for somethink like this (all youtube is full of is that OMG HUGE UPDATE) click bait shit!!! keep it up look forward to more mate subbed :D
What??? Dude, there are tons of space games that do that. Maybe not many space rpgs? Call of duty infinite warfare, is a space game during a war. Most halo games are space games during a war.
absolutely man i’ll work on that in the next video, thanks for watching i’ll up the quality with more practice, it’s a learning experience forsure and i appreciate the feedback
How does time work in space. It makes no sense to me. If years are dependant upon the time it takes for the earth to complete 1 orbit around the sun, and you're in a different solar system, different planets, different sun, then what time are you talking about? When you say "in the year 2167", are you talking earth years or years on another planet?! It would make more sense for each solar system to have its own calculations and calendars for humans. If humans land on a planet and colonize it in the earth-year of 2167 for example, the logical thing to do would be to establish a new calendar based on how long it takes for that planet to orbit that sun in that solar system, and the first year would be year 1. And some phrase behind it to indicate which time and calendar they're talking about. Like Anno Domini, which is the Christian Roman calendar representing the day Jesus Christ was born (I think). Humans wouls still have some kind of way to keep up with time and calendar on earth, they would say, year 1 (in Alpha Centauri for example) and then some suffix like AD, and then they would perhaps add earth-years so that people everywhere would understand exactly what date and time it is for all humans everywhere. Because we started on planet earth. So Earth-years would remain important to calculate and understand time. Also, Alpha Centauri for example has 3 suns. How does 1 year work there?! So it just doesn't make sense to me.
they have a universal time based on the calendar on earth, i bet the systems have their own calendar but that wouldn’t add anything to the video if i said the individual dates when the events affect more than one system, we have a universal time on earth that we use aswell
@@TangorVon You are correct. I am a Muslim North African and we have our own Hijri calendar but in order to understand dates and times, we use the European Roman calendar. We still call monday "the second day of the week, tuesday is the third, wednesday is the fourth etc..." but everybody understands which days we are talking about in a European Roman calendar sense. The same goes for the months. There has to be a universal calendar so that people can understand what's going on. I'm not complaining about the game. I'm just wondering how it would happen in real life if humans did colonize other planets and solar systems.
@@abdelll9737 i’ve been playing and i noticed that each system has its own local time revolving around the individual orbits of the planets in the system

I was too lazy to read up on everything, thank you for the informative video.
Quick and clear. Thanks!
Thx chief! I'm ready to play the game now :P

Actually super informative
Very nicely put together. Thank you.
Nice job; easy to listen to and informative.
fps is just like Pete Hines said "don't look numbers, feel it" )))
Really nice concept video!
it’s actual lore from the game :)
Looks like I’m going to have to fight for the republic, for democracy
I guess Mass Effect will continue to be the only space game where we actually play during a war rather than after. Really lame there are no others.

How you edit this video freaking 11 fps mehh.
that was my fault on the way i got the footage, i’ll make sure it’s better in the next one
I have to minimize the video the jumpy frames is hurting my eyes. otherwise nice vid.
