    The jacket is sweatshirt based and uses the stitch and flip method of attaching the bargello strips to the sweatshirt.
    This method quilts the jacket as you go so no additional quilting is needed except on the sleeve cuffs.

    The comment about sewing on the inside of the sweatshirt answered my question of a need for a lining...very nice. I'm going to try this. You took some of the fear out of the project...

      That's why the nudge to buy the pattern. However, the desig er has now retired and the pattern is no longer available, unfortunately
