Photographically, this is the best video that I've found on TH-cam to assemble the Ender 3. The vocal descriptions are lacking, though. If I were you, I'd keep the video and purchase another TH-camr's voice over.
Dude slow down and go one at a time on the wire connection parts. Don't rattle them off all at once with all pictures present. That was the only frustrating part
I saw this tutorial, and I noticed one thing that was missing. There aren't any details related to the selection of the correct input grid voltage before the printer is plugged into the wall. On the side of the power supply, there is a small switch with a warning sign. This switch MUST BE SET to the correct position according to the user's local grid voltage. Most of the world's countries are using a nominal voltage of 230/240 V (I think it is the default position of the switch, but it's better to check it), some countries, like Japan, North American states, Middle American states, and the northern states of South America, are using a lower voltage of 100/130 V. I don't know what information is contained inside the assembly manual packed with the printer today, but a few years earlier there was wrong information. The switch has to be switched to the 120 V position always. I am an electrician, so I knew I shouldn't do it because I am living in Europe. But I have a friend who doesn't have too much knowledge about electricity. He toggled the switch as the assembly manual guided, and after turning the printer on, the power supply simply blew up.
Yeah the only thing I noticed about the voltage required was in the assembly book and the sticker on the back of the power supply. I wasn’t sure when is was set to the lower voltage or higher , but then I read in the book that the factory default is on 230.
The picture instructions confused me. This helped a lot. There were still sections that were confusing, but overall a lot better than the instructions sent with the printer.
The assembly of my ended 3 was easy fun and not very hard it’s easy enough to put together with out frustration but hard enough so you could fix a problem easily. I love and recommend this printer to any one who is a beginning or experienced 3D printer.
Notes: That voice was weird but fun. Every part is in plural. You aparently need to prepare bolts. The spool holder is a barrel. The extruder is called the extrusion meca nis... .em. The allen key sounds wierd as well but other than that it passes the qc check. (Maybe)
@@ethanwhitwell6980 I thought it was a design issue turns out I was wrong lol, look at the instructions again and see if you have the correct part or orientation and everything. I can’t remember what I did back then but I remember feeling stupid for thinking it was a manufacturer’s defect after looking at it again.
In the beginning of the video, it shows a guy opening the box using a putty knife. You actually get this tool with the Ender 3. The problem? The damn tool is located inside the box.... wtf man!

Thank you for this comprehensive and short installation guide. I watched russian guys do installation and it was meaningless. Either one does a 10 minute guide (literally snapping with his fingers, fucking wizard) or another does an hour long guide with removed key moments.
What Software are we supposed to use! All of this and the instructions it comes with says software varies... AT LEAST GIMME SOME OPTIONS STUPID MANUFACTURER Can people recommend the best software to use (With Links Please)
In the instruction manual that came with the printer they tell you what software to use, they recommend Cura and Simplify3D (TH-cam won’t let me post a link)
Everything is good about this video. The only part I struggled with was the ones with pictures. Not in real life. But the printer is great! Recommended!
The voice killed it for me. I cant watch or listen to these stupid robot voices all over youtube anymore. Seriously, it drives me mad. Are people REALLY so lazy that they can't talk for themselves in 2022?
I don't understand how to do the step at 4:54. Looking at this it looks like the belt is supposed to be on the silver piece but when I try to fit it there it the belt is no longer on track..
I don’t have an Ender but I’m looking to get one (that’s why I’m watching this video) but I do have experience with TAZ. I think the problem you’re having is that you have to calibrate your printer. Maybe go to the move axis option on your printers screen and see if you can reset your axises from there.
This video helped me alot. I got this yesterday as a gift and had a hard time putting it together. Im stuck on the setting up part. This video helped alot though. Thank you.
The TH easy access rotor or motor not sure of actual name is super difficult to get screwed on. Ugh I hate when things are going smooth then something that is supposed to he simple isnt!

I'm in Canada, and we use the lower voltage.
This Ender 3 is a wonderful tool l recommend this printer everyone ... Thank you Creality!
Thank you very much to for loving this printer, thank you for your recommendation. : )
It is a great printer.
Thank you for this. Could not have built this with the printed instructions.

The voice (computer generated) is stupid. It should be outlawed!!
THANK YOU!!! Now i can upgrade my IOT laboratory
The voice on this video. C’mon’m
It's crazy how realistic robots are becoming
Does the newer versions of the standard ender-3 come with the "motion" menu enabled?
Good video btw :-)
They ain't even gonna give you an answer lmao. Just a heart 🤣

The intro for the video hit hard
Thank you so much I’m so exited to print stuff :D
This is useful for disassembly and repacking as well.
Watching in 2024👇
just got this printer and i'm assembling it slowly
4:20 minutes finally done
i dont have a TF card do i need it?
Probably yeah, I’m pretty sure that’s a major component of the computer
Thanks, this video was helpful!
Very useful tutorial. Thank you.
Why was the extruder bracket made smaller? Now the filament touches the Z screw.
Is the TF card included with the 3D Printer??
I have a problem..
When autohoming it moves upwards and when i again autohome it again moves upwards..can anyone help?
What would be epic is a clone MMU2S or any other device than can do up to 4 or 5 colours, on an Ender 3 or any other Creality machine
Very bold idea. d=====( ̄▽ ̄*)b

the nozzle on mine only has the very tip coming out of the thing, is there a way to fix this?
Thanks!
I am struggling with getting the motor on. It's so frustrating.
And my printer doesn't have "prepare" as an option...what do I do?

The instructions aren’t good at all in the manual. Thank God NOAA let them use the weather radio voice for this video! 😂
How do I align mine? My X says -3 and my Y says -10 but Z is at 0
otimo video
Is anyone else here to figure out how to put it back in the box for transport? lol
Cant seem to align the x axis with the z axis. The assembly guide for this printer is horrible
Muito obrigado!!!
What program do I use with this? I’m completely new to 3D printing and I wanted to get this printer to start off? Any tips and tricks?
with the 3D printer, you can print models , design ideas, prototypes etc. it's amazing
Mine came with black M4x20 screws and they aren’t long enough, is there anywhere to get the correct ones?

What the fuck do to with the belt that is in two?
If your belt is cut in 2 I think it’s broken
it didn't turn on
There is a voltage switch on the back of the power supply push it down to 115v
what happened with the voice ??
Nothing happened (。◕ˇ∀ˇ◕)
They hired stephen hawking to do it
My motor blew up half way through the tutorial
