@@MicSustianevo So, if the bose has an optical audio output then all i need is to do, is connect the red and white cables with to the audio converter to the bose and connect the usb cable to the mac to the audio converter? Do you think that will work?

Go to your audio settings on your TV make sure you select optical
i got a question. can you connect this to a macbook? I'm trying to play my bose system.
Not familiar with MacBook but this Works with Any Playback Source with an Optical (TOSLINK) or Coaxial Digital Audio Output

You would need a powered speaker system to plug in to as shown in Video as far as I know
