I would really put the blame on RBW. Probably they're not yet getting that they do have the capability of going bigger in global scale or they're solely focusing in Korea. Their financial conditions aren't worse than BH in 2014 I guess and online promoting doesn't cost much.
If these four queens manage to be fluent in English, they'll rock the international Kpop fans. If only they have time to learn English, because they only know a bit, enough to welcome the fans and so on, but if only they have the time to be fluent even in that language only, they can pretty much dominate Kpop gg. i can’t say for all of kpop bc i don’t know all the groups but mamamoo is by far the best group (girl, boy idol) that i’ve come across. most groups have their members set as either singer, rapper, dancer, visual, maknae, etc. but with mamamoo they’re all-around artists. they know how to excite a crowd and perform, have distinct strong voices, can harmonize and improvise, can write their own lyrics and make the stage their own, switch up concepts and do every genre. the list goes on. even their “worst vocalist” has a strong and stable voice. i have to give so many props to their company for not letting their talent go to waste and to the girls themselves for building the bridge between was it means to be idols and an artist
