Some just want to survive to get the Debut and the fame,,, but some people want to fight everything to earn ability or power to get their debut,, I think that might be a reason why we should compare it for... MAMAMOO been through the hard way to get their fame now..

Seriously, Hwasa might be famous for her fatal charms yet she should be known more for her vocal.. really unique tone.. ALL of the MEMBERS have a REALLY UNIQUE TONE that you can recognise and acknowledge easily.. tho u might confused wheepup and ahnfatal low notes as theirs almost similar yet you can differ them after listening their songs
I think they're all famous for their vocals. Hwasa's known specifically for her fatal charms cause that's what separates them from each other.
@@bex622 yes they are.. but it's for the professionals not the fans.. when it comes to today's fans, you can see the hwasa is more famous with her character and stage presence instead of her vocal.. when it comes to vocal they will think more of solar instead if hwasa.. i just wanna say that her vocal deserve better

i feel like people dont really talk abt hwasa's voice because it's "old news" like, everyone knows her voice is amazing, no need to talk abt it, while her femme fatale image is just recently cemented and her charms (style, persona etc) only becomes widely recognized in these recent few years.

No hate on any kpop groups now. But they tend to similar voice and style. Which is why Mamamoo is so unique and stands out from the rest.

Their company actually make them similar so they can easily match it in a group and any song with the color of the group. But Mamamoo can make it balance in harmoni as a group and solo, thats awesome tho.

People say that Mamamoo are underrated for their vocals and I do not agree. They're famous and renowned especially in Korea for their talent. Literally the current top vocal group in Kpop. But I do say in general they aren't as famous as they should be or as big as they should be. Which is more so because of their label's lack of marketing them outside of Korea like they should and also they don't have a fluent english speaker in the group. But Mamamoo are very famous, successful and extremely talented.

Their vocals are appreciated but they aren’t famous enough for the amount of talent they have. I wish they all moved to L1ve with Wheein and move on from RBW’s sucky management, but I guess Wheein needed to grow and establish her identity after being in the background for so long.
If RBW had the mind to promote them overseas they could have improved their english even if there is no native speaker. Ateez is a group that's so popular in global level and they don't have any native speaker. And another example is EXO. Mingling with international fans is a way to improve english. But the company sucks at that. So the only way is them as a group joining some other company like KQ or something.
I wish RBW would promote them more in the US! I am dying to see them in concert!

There is a huge difference between talented and popular , i love mamamoo bcs they are worthy and real artists , talented and can slay at every concert without lip sync
For their debut they had 3 stages, nobody came to the first one according to Solar. Their days of theater style shows really blossomed to shaking the hearts of full stadium award shows. I hope all of their solo project do well and good luck to WHEE-IN working outside the company. I am just happy the four of them will still work together.

best thing about mamamoo is that they are always in the same order when standing next to each other so even if you absolutely suck at faces you can tell them apart 😂
tbh, im so bad at faces that most kpop groups that come out i literally cannot tell anyone of them apart. but with mamamoo, not only are their voices to distinct, their visuals are also so different from each other that they're probably the 2nd kpop group that i've ever bothered to memorize who is who (first, of course, would be 2ne1). i can't believe mmm isn't more famous internationally. their talent in visuals, singing, and dancing is the best i've seen this decade.
I never noticed this and just as I read it I realised Solar is always in the same spot. So I checked the video to see and it changed to the scene where they’re in the suits. The ONLY time I’ve seen Hwasa next to Solar and not Moonbyul 😂😂😂
I always wished that moonbyul was included more in their harmony parts (like i feel like she was in their older performances). Like we all know she can sing, just with a lower register, so i feel like it would be the perfect thing to balance some of their harmonies. It always feels like such a waste when i see all three of them harmonizing and moonbyul just standing there! I mean, they still sound amazing though and mb nails her raps i just feel like they should take advantage of her stable lower register to flesh out their harmonies even more.

@@dubulicious455 More like all the time in Korea, they are claimed as the best vocal group there. But globally yes, but it's mostly because the agency doesn't promote them outside korea + kpop in general (excepting the big groups) still being not that known globally.

I believe this is why MMM has the spirit of 2nd gen idols. Like 1st and 2nd gen groups, they may not have the most technical dances but they sound and perform better live and are more engaging to the audience. That's why people are more drawn to them and appreciate their talents more than just the visuals or dance routines.
everyone is just dancing and lip synching nowadays, that is has become insulting to the intellect. i'd pay for real singers. performers that sing live.
The fact that singers should be good at dancing is just strange. It doesn’t make any sense either. What matters is how beautiful they can sing.
@@Nirrinito me vocals are so important too! but i do think it’s important to remember that that’s literally how ‘idols’ industry began. they aren’t just singers, they dance,they entertain outside of music.. etc and some people enjoy kpop more for the other aspects than vocals. otherwise we could be talking about the many singers who don’t even use the title idol and only focus on singing.
@@Nirrinithat’s why i think many groups try to be well rounded with positions like main vocal or main dancer. but still those members with main position might not have the greatest state presence and someone else becomes the center even tho they are not the best singer nor dancer. i think the industry just wants to appeal to everyone. but i do feel like companies focus on dancing WAY too much. some people argue it’s because you can digitally correct vocals but not dance.

I never loved a female group until I came across MAMAMOO in 2020. They are just built different. They each sound so unique but harmonize so beautifully together. Really going to do everything I can to go see them when they come to the US.

This is why I don't have a bias in Mamamoo cause they all can do everything and everytime they perform leave me speechless and make me stan them more and more
i love how there isnt a visual position...its like they all are beautiful in their own ways...And About vocals they always slay...I don't think kpop will ever have any other group like mamaoo, they are legends...
Their image as Kpop's vocal queens with good songs is already established but I feel like more people need to know that they're insane live performers too. I went to their concert and was blown away that each member held a SOLO set for ~20 minutes each.... (a mix of dancing, singing, rapping, playing live instruments etc. in case you thought they just stood there only singing lol)
Now to do this you need every member to have enough skills, stage presence and confidence for it. I don't think I've seen this kind of pure showmanship from any other idol groups if we're being real here.
This is what I have been told/remember.
6 months after their debut they were invited on IS2 (as it is invite only) the programme is very popular all over Asia, brought Mamamoo to the notice of many people, 13/14 appearances and 3 wins later, this has never been equalled. Heard that solar may have had a solo appearance too not sure of that though. It's a long time ago so my memory might be missing things.

I thought there wasn't big vocalist,untill i found Spica and Kiss&Cry,just after knowing they are disbanded i gave up on finding vocal.
But Mamamoo showed me there's atleast a small chance of getting vocals

I think the reason why they are so good together is bc solar and wheein are basically on the same level and hwasa is above average,basically none of the vocalist are weak

I’m from New Zealand and this is the first time I’ve heard this group. They are definitely super talented but probably aren’t as famous internationally as their voices are not unique, for e.g. I know quite a lot of people who have the same vocals and a similar sound. However, in saying that, based on k-pop groups I’ve heard, they are definitely the best vocally I’ve come across. Songs are not something I would personally listen to, but big props to these amazing women for singing their hearts out.
