Krieger killed Dr Kovax by sabotaging the mission. Even if the crew were incompetent, Krieger costed them several minutes and equipment damage that could have made a big difference. They would have several more minutes to escape if not for Krieger

While I actually enjoyed the newer seasons, Krieger has been criminally underused for awhile now, or at least not to the level of awesome he used to be.
Because agents mostly kill people quick and easy in order to achieve an objective. Serial killers do it for the sake of killing or because they want to use body parts for messed up stuff. I mean, its still killing either way, but agents could avoid it if possible.

Krieger in a normal show is like a wild card to keep everything interesting, but then Archer steps in and spreads chaos abound and im left feeling confused. is it 9/16/2020 yet?
The main theory is that the krieger clones had their shirts oppositely buttoned to the one that survived. Pair that with a concussion and the fact that krieger doesnt normally wear bowties anyway, its likely the real krieger survived. He was also knew things that the clones couldnt possibly have known, like the fake microchip in cheryls brain.
