Today I will be reviewing my completely stock, 2004 WRX Blobeye. This car does have an JDM Ej205 engine swap. This car is a blast to drive, and with Subarus insane AWD system it is the perfect car to survive the Canadian Winters. This is my first review, and feedback is greatly appreciated, hope you guys enjoy! Thanks for watching.

I am the original owner of one of these '04s and I still like it a lot. It now has over 585,000 miles and trust it to get me wherever I need to go. ...and, yes, the turbo works well.

@@robdog9265 heyy what's tge difference between impreza(?) wrx and wrx sti?
@@angelicaamora11 There's a lot of differences but the main ones are: Impreza is N/A (no turbo), WRX is turbo, and STI is turbo and has a 6 speed transmission.
The engines are basically the same in all the models but they have some different parts and of course, the turbo versions have more power than the base model Impreza.
Forgot to mention, the obvious visual differences are that the Impreza doesn't have a hood scoop or spoiler, WRX has a hood scoop and a low spoiler while the STI has a (sometimes) bigger hood scoop and a great high wing.
STI also has some simple parts that make the car look more aggressive such as front bumper splitters. Honestly the car looks odd without them imo.

Rob good video once agian! Thank you for doing a driving video. Many good tips. I think a really good video if you could do is a video of what to look for when buying a used one? I'll most likely bring to a subaru dealer , but what are big ticket items we should look for with a WRX? Also, do you play on modding your WRX?
I actually do have a video on that : ) just go on my channel and its my #1 vid. And yes, but not too crazy, just a turbo back exhaust and a cobb access port!
Just bought one. All original parts 2004. Has high miles, however i intend on replacing with stock engine and trany. Dont want to do anything outside stock. Love this car.

I just bought a 05 saab 92 aero a few weeks ago. i love it so far. but the gas mileage sucks lol.
also... is that rear whining noise normal? It gets pretty noise on the highway. maybe the diff?

Hey i really need to know if u can take the spoiler off this car by any means is there any way u can do it without having to get messy?
BREEZY you’ll have to either swap trunk or fill holes where spoiler bolted on at.

I have the exact same car mine is an 05 rs 2.5 midnight blue I recently did a jdm ej205 engine jdm 5 speed transmission and diff swap
I'm using the jdm ecu I have to fill up super 94 at petro Canada
I also Did swap my front brakes to jdm wrx 4 pod calipers
