Hannelie, I LOVE you name!!! It’s a combination of my daughter’s name, Hannah, and mine, Annelies 😁. I wish I had thought of that when choosing a name for one of my girls.
Please tell Diago we appreciate him and what he does. He is amazing❤❤❤❤. I do hope this is a runaway success, and Thankyou to you for letting him use your land.
This has to be one of my favorite episodes!!! Diego, you are an amazing human. I hear and feel the pain over the loss of your sweet bees in your voice. I’m so happy your bees found a safe place to recover from the trauma 🧡
There are a lot of people that do recognize the importance of beekeeping. I'm so sorry for this tragic loss and happy that you have the space to set up these hives for him.
John’s excitement for the stones was like a child with a new Lego set 💙. The bee segment was emotional. We are farmers and the realization that bee keepers do not get the recognition they so deserve was eye opening. ❤️
@Bojangles2007 That's funny. I just got my first Lego set, I'm fifty-seven. My daughter is very into Legos. I loved it, but I don't even think I was as joyful as John, that was adorable.
I love how you guys went full circle with how the gofundme was actually used. It’s so good for all that contributed to actually see the help they provided. Best of luck Diogo and hugs to you Tara and John!
John’s enthusiasm for the old stones is contagious. Jumping back to Diego and his bees, his love of what he does is palpable. It really is a blessing to love what you do. You guys are informing, entertaining and inspiring. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for helping Diego with the bee’s!! So kind of you and so needed for the bee’s health and wellbeing! So sorry for all he lost in the fires. I loved seeing the stones for the new home and John’s excitement was so fun to see! Like a kid at Christmas!! It’s going to be great to watch it all come together! ❤
John you bring a tear to old eyes seeing you emotional over stone's I know what you mean by the history of the stones your family is a joy to watch 👌👌👌
John and Tara, love your enthusiasm for the old stone. You definitely gave me a David Attenborough impression of your absolute excitement and emotional connection to the re-cycled stone, John. So pleased you are helping Diego with the "bee rescue hospital".
Hi Newbys! John's enthusiasm and excitement for the old stones really made me smile, it's going to be epic to watch them have a new purpose! So glad Diogo and Tara rehomed the bees successfully, they will be so loved under your foster care! ❤
John, Tara, I'm so excited for you picking the stone for your home, it's awesome you are going to use recycled stones to make your home. Its awesome Diego and Tara building up more bee hives.
I love this bee journey you are on Tara. I have learned so much from watching your channel and although I have always had respect for bees and what they do for us, I am completely enthralled with them now. Totally into everything you're doing. Thank you for helping Diego and to everyone else who contributed as well. This is what life is about.
You are absolutely beautiful friends, giving Diogo a place where the bees can get the care they need.🙏🏼 And John being so enthusiastic about the stones made me laugh so much, watching him jumping up and down that pile 😂 But I do understand the beauty of giving old stones a new life. They have a lot stories to tell ❤
There is not just so much history in the stones, but, so much energy! This is exciting and your love for it is infective, we’ve all got it now!🤓. We are with you 100% John and Tara and just can’t wait to get it started. Love what you are doing with the bees 🐝 thank God for people like you🥰. Love to the boys and a big old tummy rub to Obie .👍👍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🤗🤗🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝
I agree! The way John felt was the energy carried in the old stones vibing his enthusiasm! “Yes! We want to go home with that guy! We’ll shelter his family! Pick us!!” 🤓🥰
The stone is amazing. I agree the symmetry is so pleasing. I always consider the effect busy patterns have on my children. Too much chaotic pattern creates too much excitement, whereas symmetry creates a calming background. I think it helps them. Order in our homes stimulates safety and creativity. You’re on the right track for your home. I’m blown away. Congrats!
It is so amazing to see how great this community here is, how so many have helped out to save Diogo's bees!!! And then that quarry with all the reclaimed stone from old houses, that is so my thing to use reclaimed material. That house is going to be amazing guys!!! Have a great week you all. Cheers Bert 🙏🏻❤
Thanks Bert. This is such a great community of people. Not just because of the bees but also the chit chats and comments the kindness through each video. It’s really great. A wonderfully safe place. ❤️❤️🙏🙏🐝🐝
The Bee 🐝 resuce make me so happy and truly lovely to see. The joy in John and your face, looking at the stone make me smile . Your both amazing people and your home is going to be beautiful

I wouldn't miss this for the world! I've been watching you from the beginning and cannot wait until this house is starting. I know you have a lot to do beforehand, but I am so excited! Much love from Oklahoma USA Jackie 🇺🇸💖
So happy that you are helping Diogo rescuing so many hives. It is vitally important and we should all be grateful.👏🐝I think old stones are much more beautiful. It will give character and history to your house. Wonderful choice!👍😍
It’s crazy that bee keepers aren’t recognised as vital as if the bees go, we’re not far behind them. Glad to help with rehoming them. Those reclaimed stones are beautiful. You may need to specify that you want to keep some of the ‘stories’ on those stones and not be chipped clean when being put in its forever place.
Hi Newbys. I love this stones ! I can't wait to see first wall in your lovely new home ! It will be great adventure for all of us. Thank you to be part of it❤

John’s excitement at the quarry reminded me of Crusoe and his diggers. Just precious. So happy for you all to be getting started on your dream home! And how cool that you can be a safe space for the bees.
John will be building the home in his dreams. I hope he picks the correct color! LOL He is so excited about it all and I love both of your energy towards the life you live. My heart goes out to beekeepers who are not appreciated. Can we all imagine a garden we work hard to plant and yet nothing to pollinate it? Oh my! It really hits home! Excited for the bee's and you lending a helping hand and the home is going to be fabulous......I can only imagine! Blessings

John, your excitement has got me so excited for you all. I am trying to be happy of the bees but after being stung, I am terrified of the little things.
Best video yet! I absolutely loved how John was getting emotionally involved with the huge stones. Every thing has a vibration and he was obviously tuning in to the vibes from those rocks. So satisfying to see the bees being taken care of and loved. Thank you for sharing
Prayer are answered for you and your family. I am so excited about your new home. Prayers for Diego and his bees, it is so devastating for him. You are the best friends ever for Diego. God Bless you and your beautiful family.

OMG John is like a kid excited to see the stones. Hilarious. Did I hear John correctly that you guys will take over from the contractor and build the house by yourselves? Always multi tasking The Bees, The new house construction......
Hi Mintleaf. Good question. Complex. So we have split the build into three phases or sections. Phase one foundations walls and roof will start very soon, in fact we are preparing knock down the final house right now more to follow on that. Post phase one we will make a call in what comes next and how much work John and I do. During phase one, John especially will be heavily involved but under the professional guidance and with considerable help of qualified tradesmen.
@@TheNewbys Thank. you Tara for the explanation. Appreciate it. But I am just so concerned that after what you all have been through for so long, your children need a permanent secure home soon which they deserve. You have been squatting in tiny rooms for too long. I thought your new house will be built by professional contractors and the house will be ready soon. But if you both start building it, it will take too long and too slow to finish. I am more anxious to see that house finished soon for the sake of your boys. Hoping you will reconsider your decision..
@@themintleaf1778it’s unlikely that a will reconsider our decisions around this. We are in it for the adventure and the journey. The destination ( as the saying goes) is already achieved. That destination is a safe loving space for our boys to live in. We have had that for them from day one. They don’t struggle ever. 😊
I’m so quite excited for you both building the new house and your emotions behind the new stone. I love it. But, I am so moved that you are supporting Diego after the devastating fire to give the bees new life. It has been a pleasure to see Your commitment to Diego to relocate them to keep his dream alive. I love you guys, and so enjoy watching your journey with tears of joy. Have been following your journey before you purchased the land. I purchased a shuttle van to convert and travel named her Journey inspired by the two of you. God Bless!
So exciting for the bees!! Thank you for providing them a home and to all who donated the funds to help make the rescue of the bee's possible!! It's amazing what humans can do when collectively working toward a greater good. Love it!! Diego's spirit seems to be lifted as well!! And I can totally understand John's excitement surrounding all of those old stones that hold such rich history. Your new home is going to be epic!! ❤😊
Hi, guys! Great job fostering Diogo's bees..his love for them and dedication is at once heart-warming and heart-breaking❤Tara, I love that you are so invested in bees now! And John's excitement over that pile of stone, seeing the life in it, and the stories it has to tell.. I think you guys need to write a book! Wow. The dream will be starting before we know it! So excited for you. Have a great week. 🐝🐝🍁🍂🍯🏘🙏❤
So g;ad you are having the hives at yours Tara and John , how exciting. Love the colour of the stones for your new house they will look lovely when built with them, Loved watching Tara and John❤
JOHN … the stone has its own Ora everything old has it. I think that why it moves us. Build Tara a green house with a recycled glass ceiling of windows. Finding an agricultural recycling Center will truly blow your mind. Maybe you can find a historic door for your new house.
Fabulous video and so moving. You live in the most wonderful place amongst the most loveliest people. My heart went out to Diogo in the loss of his precious bees, his sadness 🥲. What a very special family you are setting up the bee hospital, Tara, your excitement is just wonderful. Loved the stone buildings ❤xx
Thank you Diogo, for keeping up the beekeeping and Tara and John for helping out and organizing everything with your endless positivity and sharing it.
I love the stones “already have life in them’. What a marvelous journey ahead! I’m watching a family restore a stone house, now and to add you’re building a new stone house from restored stone is magnificent! You are rescuing bees and stones!!!! You have brought great excitement to my day! Thank you❤️
How amazing! You are creating history! In a thousand years your estate will be a major site in Portugal and people will conjecture about who created it. It is an emotional episode! The bee sanctuary! You’ve rescued land, trees, now rocks and bees. You really are saviours of the Earth. 👏👏👏 🙏🏼 🐝🐝🐝🐝🌺💖💕🌷
Good Sunday, I hope you are having a lovely day! So excited for you about the new house! But do take a bit of time to recharge as you are starting the project of a lifetime, 😊
This episode brought me so much joy. Watching Diogo pour his heart out about his bee family and Johns excitement and nearly giving the stones a cuddle ❤… fantastic!
What a wonderful and generous gift to give to Diogo and his bees. He is such a sweet and gentle man. I hope you enjoy a long and fruitful relationship together. You are literally saving the planet! I love the golden stone as opposed to the stone with the flecks of black. That stone with the shades of reddish brown throughout the stones is perfect! I can already see the outline of your house in my head. So exciting!
The stones are looking amazing!! And some wooden window frames looking great!!! And shout out to Diogo for keeping his spirit up !! This is very emotional!!!
Hihi, Obi is sitting in the car, too! on taras lab and he seems to enjoy very much, looking out of the window! Even better, sliding on that tarp!!! The bee story was so funny!!! John mentioning one bee arround the world...."That would be one tired bee!" That cracked me up!!!
Oh my goodness, John, you made me feel emotional about the stones. And Tara, your compassion and excitement for the bees is just lovely. You are both extraordinary humans...I just love your excitement, sense of humour, your adventurous spirit, and your huge loving hearts. ❤ from Canada 🇨🇦
I know how John feels about the stone that has been a house for people. I was in Mt. Vernon, George Washington’s house, and I was amazed that I was walking right where George Washington walked. The feeling can’t be articulated, just felt. Diego is a sweet man who works so hard for bees and has suffered a heartbreaking loss. As he said, bees are so important and so little thought of by the governments.
That new house is going to be grand. Cannot wait to see the new beginnings. Oh and It felt so heartwarming to see the bees rescue. So glad they can be helped. ❤
To see the smile and enthusiasm John had over the reclaimed house stones was infectious, his eyes lit up like a little kid. Actually he reminded very much of Crusoe's everyday excitement over even the little things, the toad is one that springs to mind, love it!! 🐸😃😁🥰🏡
So so exciting. I’m so so grateful to be part of it and my dog loves to ride on tarps too. So exciting to see how excited John is as someone who built stone things at my property. I’m just loving every minute of this Hugs to you all Karen.
AS i watched the last few scenes with the Bees,...with the red light, and Diogo pulling out the strip that blocked the entrance/exit to the hives,...I was thinking....The Bees went to bed in an area destroyed b y the fire,... and will wake up in the Newbys Paradise!! How awesome is that!! I LOVE the OLD stones as well! Always best to reycycle , repurpose and reuse when ever possible!!
The Bees - what an amazing story. I am so glad that you have been able to use some land to nurture the bees, I hope they will all thrive. The stones - how epic to be able to see a pile of stones and be able to imagine them as, once again, coming to life as your home. Like you, I can’t wait to see the walls emerging from the ground.
Wow wow wow I'm just speechless!! This is going to be such interesting videos. From now on, I'm going to be stuck to TH-cam! The bees 🐝, the new house! Can't wait! Whoop-whoop That stone...amazing! Hope your going to use it!!!
Another wonderful episode. Diogo's explanation of beekeeping moved me to tears. The expedition to see the stones was so exciting. Can't wait to see your progress with the house.❤❤❤
Hi @jukiedowning7782, I like to read your comments. As a non native phrase like sat me bum down with a coffee really will trigger my days after this. Not to be forget Tara and John your wonderful experience of life will embrace my journey and the way I learn as well.
Well done for helping Diogo guys! The world needs love and kindness, and more people like you. Very exciting news on the house build! I love the fact that you are thinking of recycling all those beautiful stones for your new home! ❤❤😊
I’m so happy that the bees have a new home for now. It was just so sad what happened to Diego and his bees. Well done! Loving the natural stones. Can’t wait for this project to start. Love and be safe!😘🤗🌼🇻🇪

Thank you for rescuing the bees. It is so important to all of us. I can't wait to see your stone house being built.
Thanks Carole! ❤️❤️🐝🐝
God Bless!
Thanks Paula!
Exactly Erin! ❤️❤️
"Oh wow!! Look at that pile of rocks". That was inspiring John. "Fabulous"!!!
So cute!!!!! I love johns enthusiasm for those stones!!! Haa!! And… so great you helped the bees! A great family

So g;ad you are having the hives at yours Tara and John , how exciting. Love the colour of the stones for your new house they will look lovely when built with them, Loved watching Tara and John❤
Thanks so much Annette 😊
Thank you for the update with Diego and the bees. What a blessing you were able to help him after the fire.
Thank you friend. ❤️❤️
JOHN … the stone has its own Ora everything old has it. I think that why it moves us. Build Tara a green house with a recycled glass ceiling of windows. Finding an agricultural recycling Center will truly blow your mind. Maybe you can find a historic door for your new house.
Thanks Maria! ❤️❤️
Thank you Judy! ❤️❤️
Thank you Diogo, for keeping up the beekeeping and Tara and John for helping out and organizing everything with your endless positivity and sharing it.
Thanks Kristin! ❤️❤️❤️
Love John's excitement of the stone. Makes me want to go out and build a stone house 😊
Thank you Colette!
I love the stones “already have life in them’. What a marvelous journey ahead! I’m watching a family restore a stone house, now and to add you’re building a new stone house from restored stone is magnificent!
You are rescuing bees and stones!!!! You have brought great excitement to my day! Thank you❤️
❤️❤️🙏
How amazing! You are creating history! In a thousand years your estate will be a major site in Portugal and people will conjecture about who created it. It is an emotional episode! The bee sanctuary! You’ve rescued land, trees, now rocks and bees. You really are saviours of the Earth. 👏👏👏 🙏🏼 🐝🐝🐝🐝🌺💖💕🌷
What a lovely comment to read. Thank you friend. we are having so much fun here on the farm. Great to have you joining us. 🙏🇵🇹🏡 ❤️❤️
Good Sunday, I hope you are having a lovely day! So excited for you about the new house! But do take a bit of time to recharge as you are starting the project of a lifetime, 😊
Thanks Dave! 🙏❤️
This episode brought me so much joy. Watching Diogo pour his heart out about his bee family and Johns excitement and nearly giving the stones a cuddle ❤… fantastic!
❤️❤️❤️
What a wonderful and generous gift to give to Diogo and his bees. He is such a sweet and gentle man. I hope you enjoy a long and fruitful relationship together. You are literally saving the planet!
I love the golden stone as opposed to the stone with the flecks of black. That stone with the shades of reddish brown throughout the stones is perfect! I can already see the outline of your house in my head. So exciting!
Thanks Abigail. We are super excited!!
The stones are looking amazing!! And some wooden window frames looking great!!!
And shout out to Diogo for keeping his spirit up !! This is very emotional!!!
Thanks Sandra!
😊 thanks Sandra!
🙏🙏❤️🐝
Great work with the bees and I totally agree with using some of those old stones. Such character!
Thanks Reet! 🙏❤️❤️
So true Shirley. Like touching the rocks that make the pyramids. Amazing!
That new house is going to be grand. Cannot wait to see the new beginnings. Oh and It felt so heartwarming to see the bees rescue. So glad they can be helped. ❤
❤️❤️🙏🙏
To see the smile and enthusiasm John had over the reclaimed house stones was infectious, his eyes lit up like a little kid. Actually he reminded very much of Crusoe's everyday excitement over even the little things, the toad is one that springs to mind, love it!! 🐸😃😁🥰🏡
Thanks Fiona! The Newby boys get excited about almost everything!!
Love the bee facts Tara 🐝 Great episode 🥰
Thank you! 🐝🐝❤️❤️
I am with Tara on this fostering project. Helping bees is good.👍😄❤️
I think so too!
Love your enthusiasm for the stones and bees!
❤️❤️
So so exciting. I’m so so grateful to be part of it and my dog loves to ride on tarps too.
So exciting to see how excited John is as someone who built stone things at my property. I’m just loving every minute of this
Hugs to you all Karen.
That’s such a wonderful thought Sue. Thank you. ❤️❤️
I LOVE watching John get excited about those stones…I found myself getting excited too…who knew!…stones can actually make you feel emotional!!!😂❤❤❤
Exactly 👍 ❤️🙏🙏
The Bees - what an amazing story. I am so glad that you have been able to use some land to nurture the bees, I hope they will all thrive. The stones - how epic to be able to see a pile of stones and be able to imagine them as, once again, coming to life as your home. Like you, I can’t wait to see the walls emerging from the ground.
Thanks Janice! ❤️❤️
Wow wow wow I'm just speechless!! This is going to be such interesting videos. From now on, I'm going to be stuck to TH-cam! The bees 🐝, the new house! Can't wait! Whoop-whoop That stone...amazing! Hope your going to use it!!!
Thanks Melinda! ❤️🙏
Another wonderful episode. Diogo's explanation of beekeeping moved me to tears. The expedition to see the stones was so exciting. Can't wait to see your progress with the house.❤❤❤
