hey i'm learning how to snap on quads & its so hard to find any videos on how to on a detailed level is there anyway we can get a more detailed video on how to snap on quads & the toe movements for it , any tips & tricks to really make it easier please
Venesha Thompson I tried to cover as much as I could in this videos ☹️ the same rules apply for quads and Inlines for snapping! I would like to plan more videos later for specific snap maneuvers so hopefully that would be helpful for you 🦑
Hey! Thanks for posting these videos. I'm wondering whether you first learned to do the full circle snap on quads or on inlines? Or did you learn the maneuvre on both simultaneously?
That like/dislike thing worked. I was zoned out after I clicked on the video... then looked over to see why you stopped talking. Only to go back and hear it again lol! Liked and subbed as always
I’m probably just really slow but with the quads, what part of your wheels are you using to 360? it looks like you spun on your toe wheels then turned back around with your heels.
@rebel for me it’s kinda one smooth motion I think. When I first started it was more rigid but over time it becomes a smoother transition. I wouldn’t put too much thought into until after you get comfortable and then you’ll naturally be able to make it more fluid over time. Hopefully that makes sense! 🦑
SQUID IM DOIMG THE FULL CIRCLE SNAP omg i’m so happy because it’s easier on my left i never thought to realize that it’s actually easy imma learn this quick
Trevor L for me when I transition from forward to backward I’m using my front two wheels to pivot, then I use the back two wheels when going from back to forwards!
Hey, do you give in-person lessons on snapping? I’m learning on rollerblades too and it’s quite difficult. I was practicing at Crystals rink yesterday and realized I might need a lesson or two lol
Yo squid so ive been trying to do the snap like i use to be able to do but i didnt skate for a couple of months and i got new skates the fr1's i got most of my skill back but i can't get the snap everytime i do the snap i put my foot down on accident so i like i do the snap but then after the second turn i put my foot down on accident
Yeah that’s tough, I would say try to balance on the foot you snap on going forwards and backwards. Don’t snap just try to hold a 1 foot position until you build up you balance again. Practice while moving forward and then practice while going backwards, just holding in the one foot position. Hopefully that make sense but this will help you get comfortable on your foot. Other than that just keep at it and it should come back to you eventually. Snapping is really difficult especially on blades!
You were going clockwise direction on your left foot. Is it also possible to going counter clockwise?(or clockwise if your right foot is dominant ofc). I've been practicing one foot turns (just on intuition) and always go the exact other direction than you.
FBNTV see I want to but there are so many that I can’t do 🥺 also the inline slides are wayyy different than in quads. I have a friend is is really good at them and I want to film a power slide video with him. So I’ll had it to the list of more tutorials to make in the future, thanks for the suggestion 😁🦑

Skating Squid this is like my 10th time watching this video lmal
What wheels are you rotating on when you do the full circle snap? I guess when you start rotating is it front or back wheels?
Trevor L for me when I transition from forward to backward I’m using my front two wheels to pivot, then I use the back two wheels when going from back to forwards!

yes you can do snaps in all 4 directions, to the left and right on each leg.
@@Skating_Squid okay thanks!
Power slide tutorial?

I want to learn how to snap in a circle but I always freeze or loose balance with my foot
Kaizer Inline Skater just take it slower and try to think about getting into a rhythm 😁
Skating Squid I was doing ur tips on the back and fourth and it worked :) I’m getting better cuz I use to stick my leg out
Kaizer Inline Skater that’s great! I’m glad at least one tip was useful 😁🦑
Skating Squid thank u
SQUID i did the snap but i started backwards and its 100 times easier when i start backwards i’ve been getting better :)
Kaizer Inline Skater ayeee that’s what I’m talking about! Sometimes I find it easier to start backwards too!
Skating Squid ik idk why but i start off with better balance
For some reason I’m better back and fourth snap idk why
