Seeing this back in 2010 on my couch watching the man who's songs I had listened to In Toy Story through my childhood play live with the characters on the big screen behind him and the clouds moving that looked like Andy's wallpaper, gave me goosebumps. Without a doubt, my favorite Oscars.
In my opinion, the 2010 Original song Oscars was absolute bullshit: “I See the Light” from Tangled was 10x more jaw-dropping and iconic as a song. I loved Toy Story 3 better as a movie, but not its ending credits song thaaaat much at all.
I see the light holds it’s own as the Disney difinitve song But we belong together was really something special especially given the context of the movie. you want outrage about some thing why don’t tangled get nominated for animated feature..
Thats because it was recorded live its not supposed to sound like the actual thing that has autotune and professional editing this is recorded raw and unfiltered.
I disagree about the mixing his voice can be heard well enough by people if you turn up the volume. The orchestra compliments the song rather than overpower it

+RedTrainer (TheSnivyQuender) A few months ago the had this song a version song.
Mixing sucks. Randy's voice should be more up front. Too much orchestra.
Thats because it was recorded live its not supposed to sound like the actual thing that has autotune and professional editing this is recorded raw and unfiltered.
