    I like how more in-depth this goes, showing different cases for different scenarios, it helped a lot and saved me time writing my paper!

    Hey boss, does the indent for the journal title happen only at the beginning of the journal title ? Or at the beginning of the second line regardless of how long the article title is

      All references are formatted using a 'hanging' indent. That means that the first line is left aligned and the remaining lines of the entry are indented.
      To create the hanging indent, just highlight the entry and hit 'Command+T' on an Apple or 'Ctrl+T' on a real computer ;-)

    what if there are multiple authors?

    • @jasonhorn901
      @jasonhorn901  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks so much for your question. You include up to 20 authors, and if there are more than 20, the first 19 and last one.
      Details are outlined here: th-cam.com/video/aZ8Ey7Afhjg/w-d-xo.html

    should we include publisher name in it ?

    • @jasonhorn901
      @jasonhorn901  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the question. As the journal is the publisher, it is already included when you name the journal, so there is no need for an additional publisher :)

    But is there a comma between the volume and issue number ?!

    • @jasonhorn901
      @jasonhorn901  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks so much for your question Haifoo.
      There is no comma between the volume number and issue number. The two pieces of information are offset the the italicized volumes number and the parentheses that open and close off the issue number. :-)

      @@jasonhorn901 where to finds this numbers in researchgate

    • @jasonhorn901
      @jasonhorn901  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@maryamemoueddene9897 I'm not sure. I find that if you put a journal article title in Google Scholar and click on their 'cite' option, it usually gets you all the information you need outside of the DOI link.
      Hope this helps.

      After the page number and period and before the URL/doig link, you'll put the following:
      Retrieve January 13, 2024, from
      Make sense? :)
