    cant wait to get mines next week!!! im a 185lbs at 6'1 and let me tell you that currently my first board ever was bought three weeks ago and use $150 board single hub motor it is laughable lol
    Great video Tony, you don't seem hot at all lol that was just the V 10 adrenaline still rushing through your veins I was feeling the rush when you got up to the second gear and the third gear just blew my mind.
    I do in-house engineering and pro typing I haven't got the board yet and I already have some pretty cool upgrades I want to implement on the board I'll share with the community the results and downloadable's, cheers!

    Also, for anyone who’s curious, this thing is pretty water resistant, at least out of the box while the seal is good. I use this for commuting, and am sometimes forced to push it to the limit, I avoid puddles if possible, but definitely have hit a fair amount, I’ve rode in rain for about 15 minutes multiple times now, and always have to put the board sideways to let it dry out, but no harm done. The remote however can be a problem in the rain and it worries me how much it can take. The wheel gets sticky. But yeah, I basically just check my phone, and if the rain is considered “medium to light” it does fine. It says it can be ridden in medium rain, so I trusted it. It definitely says not to ride it in heavy rain, so I haven’t done that. I do wish it was IP65 though

      @VaporTrailChannel  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    • @Paper-Mushrooms
      @Paper-Mushrooms หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@VaporTrailChannel well I didn’t say it doesn’t make me nervous every time LOL. I worry that the seal is going to definitely break down. I thoroughly wipe it down though too. But my thing is, I can replace all the rusted screws and bolts, but I can’t replace the exposed part of the motors if they rust. But again, my ultimate goal is to use proper maintenance and try to make it last until I can upgrade to something like a Hurricane Ultra X. I see my v10 as like a cool pair of shoes. Yeah, I love it and I hate to put wear and tear on it, but at the same time, that’s what I bought it to do. If I bought it strictly just for fun, I’d be way more picky about the situations I put it through.

      With this type of board you could find off the shelf parts for most of it. Motors, you would either order from their customer service people direct, or you would match the motor size with what you have currently, or you could opt to do a new ESC / battery / and remote…or just whatever parts you would choose. But almost guaranteed that within 3 years you’d already have found something shined and new and end up with more than one board. Which is great, because then you have one for your friend or family member to join you 🙌🏻 Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻

    This is awesome, just buying it now, was gonna buy from a guy on marketplace for the v8 for $375 but I want more power and I feel like the whole battery switching isn’t good for long term? I could be wrong idk, I think this one is just the one battery, although I see how the short charge time on the v8 batteries could be nice but this will be amazing as my new ride to work a mile while

      @@VaporTrailChannel i actually just had my first wipe out on the road lol, padding gear did good haha, but I watched a video to take off the dbk of my front truck of my isinwheel v10 to make it a little more stable and I don’t really carve, the back is still dbk, but it’s only like a .5 slope down, but I’m debating getting a shorter board for it to fit in the bag, not sure if I shoukd do meepo, backfire, or lycoan

    • @VaporTrailChannel
      @VaporTrailChannel  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@StinkyCheese477I wouldn’t change one truck to single kingpin and leave the other. You’re better off getting Riptide bushings and dial it in that way. As for a short board, stay away from Lycoan. They’re actually a dead company and the people who bought the site are scamming people for money. My forts real board was a Lycoan, and it’s great. • @StinkyCheese477
      @StinkyCheese477 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@VaporTrailChannel the issue was that on the isinwheel v10 I couldn’t bring the back truck to single cause the motors drag on the board as it’s too low, I just heard that making the front at least single and a little looser can help with stability, I think I had them too tight first cause I fell over like 20 minutes ago, I seen people sell their lyacoan boards on martketplace but I’ll listen to your word, the original DKP on this board was way too much skill for me to learn on it wobbles too much and I’m not that good yet at turning hard for it to be worth it, and ofc I don’t wanna keep taking the truck off just for it to fit in the go ride longboard pack, yeah I can hit you up, lmk where, but I’m thinking meepo, backfire or something else?

    The range seems a bit odd. I have a Tynee Explorer with CloudWhells 105 on the back, DIY 500g airless wheels on the front. Rider weight 85kg/187lbs net, tempreature +-24C (spring-summer). Riding 28-38km/h, lots of stop and start (crowded city with traffic lights). Tynee Explorer battery (which is 143Wh bigger) is a 2S4P Molicel P42A 726Wh 16.8Ah and gives me a range of +-30km to the beginning of the last bar. I try to end my ride after riding a few kilometers on the second/penultimate bar.

    • @VaporTrailChannel
      @VaporTrailChannel  21 วันที่ผ่านมา

      That’s an odd combo of wheels. Likely to reduce your range imho. As for this board, it could be that they’re running less voltage through the battery and that would increase range a bit? Not sure 🤔 But yea, they always claim more range than the average user will get. You have to remember that when they test for range at their factories, they are using perfect conditions, no wind, no hills flat ground and a 165 pound rider. So, they end up with more than the average person will get. Thank you for watching!

    • @mackattack1233
      @mackattack1233 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      What range do you usually get

    • @Paper-Mushrooms
      @Paper-Mushrooms หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@mackattack1233 well, last night I swapped my wheels out, noticed that my back wheel bolt… came lose with one turn of the T-Tool… I wouldn’t have been able to do it with my hands per say, but I’m guessing I might not’ve made it to my next board 100 mile board inspection. Having those bolts not look flush definitely made me nervous, but after 100 miles, and seeing them still be strong, not as much lol.
      Anyway, back to what you asked, the most I’ve gone in a day was like 18 miles, still on halfway. I usually charge it to full on the weekends, and just ride it 3 miles every day to get to work and back. So, with 3 miles a day, it drops down to 3 bars after 5 days. I’d say if I ran it to dead I could probably get like 30 miles maybe more. I don’t ride fast, anywhere from 10-17 mph. Mind you, I’m 110-120 lbs so I’m lighter weight than the tester riders. But so far I’ve kinda figured in calculations…
      (These are how long until the battery drops down a bar)
      4 bars: 8-10 miles maybe
      3 bars: 6-8 miles
      2 bars: 5-7 miles
      1 bar: 3-5 miles
      The remote lasts for ever but it doesn’t let you charge it at 4 bars even when you know it’s not fully charged, then it drops to 2 bars from 3 bars quicker than it drops to 3 from 4.
      I assume the same thing happens with the board but not as noticeable. I’ve also noticed the board has regenerative braking, and while recharge itself when pumping the breaks and cruising down hills. Not much, but enough to get a mile or more possibly
