@Scr33ch there's actually a lot of different abilities. In secon son alone, Delsin gets like 4 powers, plus, his base ability which is to absorb other peoples powers. In infamous 2 Cole can choose between getting ice and fire powers, plus all the conduits he fights along the way. The canonical ending of the game us Cole choses to make all the conduits live and have powers. So, it could theoretically be possible, yes. I think it would make for an awesome game
The first time I played, a random player took the time to help me fight enemies and teach me how to use my powers. This was the first MMO I ever played and having that experience with a random player made this game soooo fulfilling to me. I've aspired to become just as helpful as that first random hero I encountered lol
villian gang for life. (me) i remember when fos was the only raids and people would ask to meet at the teleporters to inspect your gear to see if it was worth going in . if only SoE didnt sell and kept the game i think it would have been beautiful
I used to play this game with my dad as a kid. We used to play the main story and clear big missions together. We moved on to other things now, but the game was pretty fun
Ahh shit I remember playing this game back in 2012 during my middle school days. I was very addicted to this game. I even downloaded this on my school laptop and played during classes with my friends. Wonder if I get login to my old accounts for this game. Great video btw!
One of the games I played the most in my life, I spent a lot of my life inside this game, it was worth it for me because it was a time when I was very happy and I miss it a lot.
I quit playing about 4 years ago because the grind was intense getting between tiers. Returned and was astounded by how much better they made it. Now you have tons of side options for gear upgrades, so you're never stuck praying for the perfect loot drop, there's always something coming. They made matchmaking way better and let heroes and villains mingle on Suicide Squad missions. If you're outside the CR range, they will boost or demote you so you can still have a good challenge and still find decent drops while youhelp out newbs or join vets on raids. Used to take forever to find a mission as a villain, now its about 2 minutes tops before you get matched and readied. The players seem a bit nicer too... the first few waves had a lot of kids and jerks and farmers. Now it's mostly old vets and DC fanboys, so everybody's more chill and fun to be around than before. They made a little hangout/merchant area for both heroes and villains to mingle. It makes dueling feats way quicker. As the guy said, you no longer have to pay money to have fun. Before I used to just buy each episode as it came out, since it took me months to get the gear to get to the next tier anyhow... subscription just wasnt worth it. Now I find myself playing for free and nabbing a few items here or there from the market. I enjoy it way more, I play more, I spend more, I am happier. Hope it sticks around another decade.
This game was absolutely everything when I first started my DC Universe journey. The only thing that's stopping me from playing it currently; is that it has issues running on the PS5. It'll crash during certain actions like reviving/respawning etc. But if they release a patch that fix these issues, I'll definitely start playing again.

Played for about 2-3 years starting in late summer 2013 and quit early 2016... we started whenever Nexus and Wave were peak end game, and the Trigun DLC was launching within about a month of me starting. Loved playing this game for a very long time, and I would say it holds some of my fondest memories in or out of the gaming world. Some of that could have been the people, as I was playing with my then gf(both started same time, first game together too), and we slowly met friends, joined a league for a while as we learned the ropes, left the league when we had mastered the game, and built a small but very competent league of our own. I remember when we barely knew how to even play our roles, and I couldn't tank worth a damn when I tried. Struggling on the bridge in FOS2 for literally hours on end with randoms before we knew how to use LFG. The first runs through Gates and Prime were some of the best raid experiences to date. Same with the challenge of pre-nerfed Nexus and Wave...holy shit Paradox Wave. Sooooo many deaths, but sooo satisfying to beat, and eventually fully conquer with the main room 5 bosses at once fight(forget the feat for it, but damn was it hard when we got it). Nexus was no slouch either, with all the batmans, fuuuuck ninja batman. Stopped playing around the time they introduced the CR point scaling where stats were basically irrelevant and if you were 1 cr below the opponent you were basically half battle power. I know thats been changed since then, but last time I checked the game out I was overwhelmed with all the new stuff. I'm debating trying it out again, but would have to start completely from scratch as I don't have a console to play on anymore. Checking out a couple of your videos to see if its worth a try. Also somewhat on the fence due to those memories, as I won't have any of that friend group available to play, and don't know anyone I could get to join so need some new friends. I prefer villain as to hero, not sure if it even matters anymore with however the servers work for instances.

I first got into this when the first part of the apocalypse episodes came out. The second dlc to come out when I played was war of the light when you had to fight the star sapphires. Finding a raid who could beat carol was torture

I remember during COVID they let you play all the DLC for free and I GRINDED it for hours with my best friend. I got to live out my childhood a second time and it was great :)
I know I’m late but it feels so nostalgic to think about the day I played for the first time, i was playing with my brothers, sister and mom even random players were coming to help us defeat some enemies, it was so fun i will remember those days forever, now I’m the only one still playing this game but I have no regrets doing so
Used to love this game so much. Then they started screwing with every aspect of the game until it sucked. It taught me a valuable lesson though. Never get into an mmo, because your nostalgia will bite you when you want to play a game that doesn't exist anymore.
Been playing since 2012 but I stopped and came back almost 2 years ago but on a new account and got to cr 410 622 sp and I took breaks between the almost 2 years of launching this game on a new account. It’s fun to play with friends for sure and I don’t see myself getting too far without them since with like minded mindsets you can get things done. But even if friends quit or not I will still play this game and focus on my character.
Randomly remembered this game out of the blue, I remember back in 2010 it was my dads birthday and we were going to a restaurant but my older brothers stayed home on the wait screen for like 2 hours just to play this game. I miss those times
bro i got heavily addicted to this game from 2016-2018 when i was in middle school, and then again in 2020 during quarantine. im talking hundreds of dollars spent in cosmetics, hundreds of hours of gameplay, and i haven’t touched it in like 2 years.
Man I was there when the game was still in Beta and was stuck in loading screens for HOURS just to log in. This game was A1 since day one for me and my older brother. Some of the happiest memories of my childhood.
This game dropped on my birthday back in 2011, i played the hell out of it. I still play to this day, i use a sorcery pet build and can dps with the best of them
i was an og og, played in the beta all the way through for like 4 years straight. dont think ill comeback but i loved every second and all the memories i made playing too.
I played this on and off from launch. I remember when Dual Pistols was considered the worst weapon to use until the glitch combo was found. I use to top the damage in every run and surpas the Gadget power users (considered one of the best powers back at launch).
I still remember waiting for the beta to be released. I played it, but as someone coming from City of Heroes, I was a bit disappointed with the abilities. It all felt too restrictive. Still had so much fun in raids and just exploring Gotham with my zip line.
Damn I was an OG player. I remember buying this day one back in 2011 & buying the founders pack. I haven’t play the game since like 2013. It’s wild to see all the new stuff they have & that they still going.

First time I played this game might’ve been 2020 but I loved running around but I was dying so much and I had my goth Harley Quinn inspired character. I came back the other day and started actually professing and the game I played almost all night now I’m planning on playing this game almost every night. It’s cool seeing your character we actually have the same idea my character also can fly and uses a gun but I use fire instead. Game finally gave me something to do with people and listen to music. And it’s got some of the nicest community I’ve seen in an online game. People will randomly help you and add you to their group and stuff it’s awesome.
i remembered when this first came out and it was only for playstation plus users on ps3 great times crazy how long this game came about and it’s still relevant now
If they didn't neglect PVP the way they did then I'd probably still be playing. I still remember how epic those 8v8 and 4v4 area battles were. While the PvE content was ok, it was the PvP content/battles that reallly made this game fun for me.

this game ran my life for a few years but god this game needs a massive engine update
i played with friends back in 2011/2012. we would get off work around 11 or 12 at night and stay up until server reset at 6 am cst everyday. those were the days. fos was the best raid at the time. we ran that so many times
Mmorpg,Customization,Open world, super hero game i think this is the game im looking for, my hands are itchy wanting to play this so bad
Really good! Horrible voice acting though, just a warning here.
@@Peaches_Juice its not a big problem to me, im looking for a game to grind all day
@@flamboyantmera572 I can tell you right now there hasn’t been a game that’s released after dcuo with more content and features.
I was addicted to this on PS3 even when it was on PS4, loading times was crazy 😂
I still play almost on a daily basis. No matter how long of a break I take I can never fully stop playing. It just hits different.
Ongggg what power do you use tho?
@@icrazygomo2619 Rage
@@fieryphoenix897 So you play rage tank too?
@@icrazygomo2619 Yeah, I tank and prec dps
@@fieryphoenix897 rage prec is quite OP nglll
Played all the way back in 2015/2016, but recently hopped back on. Still fun even playing solo.
It makes you wonder why other companies are not putting their all into the game! I was there during the first launch of DC. Seeing it last this long, shows that everything is a cash grab now!
its free2play they need to make money somehow
@@thepageonetv Good point. People dont seem to understand that developers cant and wont update and work on the game for literally free. They need money coming in from somewhere.
Because corporations found out less effort = more money. Corporate greed will be the death of creativity in the games industry.
The people who made this actually like what they do. This is their career to everyone else its just a job.
@@Jaiden_Anime_Shuns Bro, DCUO devs have had massive turnover since its launch.
I played this game right two years after it started, and i just can say I played solo to the point I simply mastered every solo instance as a free to play and I was laughing from the things gadget can do like it's prime Asian super powers
This game used to hit so hard. I’d still go back for some quick fun.
Still playing dc with 23k hours an love every second of it 😊
This game looks really great!!!:)
Looks like particle effects vomit
Started playing this game back in 2012 on the ps3 waiting an hour just to log on lmao…still play to this day and grinding for lvl 400 🙌
This actually does look like a game i would play on the computer as a kid. Never actually tried it tho, haven’t played passed the cac screen 😭
The best super hero MMO ever made.. i remember when i thought Marvels attempt would have been anywhere as good. Boy was I Wrong!!!!
i still play this sometimes
i played in 2013 with help from my big brother. I have spent maybe 1000 hours on this game and had a great time. I might even return after watching this
I first got into this when the first part of the apocalypse episodes came out. The second dlc to come out when I played was war of the light when you had to fight the star sapphires. Finding a raid who could beat carol was torture
I remember when there was just 3 or 4 tiers as well and that was it. Actually mattered what gear dudes had on and depended on wether you would clear it or not.
I was there on PS3 when it dropped. I remember my first character was a speedster. Game was addicting af and I played off and on for years. Even last year.
I was IN LOVEEEEEE with this game when it came out, ran a league and everything at one point 😂😂. They need a sequel or a graphics update
I used to play back in the day with my sis and friends, man, i feel nostalgic now, we used to play every single day since it came out for years, now we´re playing FFXIV but we still have the love feelings for DCUO, sooooooo many memories
Played back in 2011, and to this day I'm very off and on again playing it. But I still really enjoy this game.
My older cousin showed me this game when i was a kid and it made me fall in love with dc and gaming in general because he was the older cousin that was cool and let me play his games he died couple years ago rip pharoh
Imma get on the game again
My condolences for your loss.
This is bullshit. This game is a husk of it's former self. PvP and PvP phase doesn't even exist anymore.
Played the crap outta this on and off since 2011. Dope to see someone showing DCUO some love💪
Still love this trash lmao
its so great so seee more and more youtubers try to somewhat revive the game, I've been playing it for mby 5 years and I still think it's one of the best MMOs out there, love the vid btw
I was dying laughing when those sound effects went off when Black Adam was talking
I've been a LOYAL player since the release in 2011! This game has always been so great to play, and still on it in 2023!!
I haven't played this in a LOOOONG TIME! I pre-ordered my copy from GameStop, and when it came out there was a bad snow storm and all my friends was playing it, but me. So my dad took me to GameStop so i could go pick it up. Good days.
When I was a kid I used to play this game like there was no tomorrow and I had hella fun with my guild, Moonlight Order still miss yall
Played this game countless time with my friends since ps3, had a lot of characters qith different abilities, it was fun man, good memories
Im still enjoying this game… so underrated
Came back after 7/8 years (played since launch) and it has SO much content and jts FREE. Game is so fire.
This game is awesome I always come back to this game after a long hiatus, its a classic!
DC was my shizzle, played it day 1
I remember during COVID they let you play all the DLC for free and I GRINDED it for hours with my best friend. I got to live out my childhood a second time and it was great :)
I remember getting this on my ps3 and it taking over a week to install/download😄😪
Now playing on ps5 and still loving it
I know I’m late but it feels so nostalgic to think about the day I played for the first time, i was playing with my brothers, sister and mom even random players were coming to help us defeat some enemies, it was so fun i will remember those days forever, now I’m the only one still playing this game but I have no regrets doing so
Used to love this game so much. Then they started screwing with every aspect of the game until it sucked. It taught me a valuable lesson though. Never get into an mmo, because your nostalgia will bite you when you want to play a game that doesn't exist anymore.
You decide to type and did speak no lie I feel the same as you everything is all different and backwards
What did you do to get the SP I’m CR 396 but I’ve got really low SP
Randomly remembered this game out of the blue, I remember back in 2010 it was my dads birthday and we were going to a restaurant but my older brothers stayed home on the wait screen for like 2 hours just to play this game. I miss those times
Played it alot in 2016. Used to pretend to be sick just to stay home and play before the server maintenance came through.
I just started playing it yesterday and it’s amazing I love it bruh why is the game not more popular
bro i got heavily addicted to this game from 2016-2018 when i was in middle school, and then again in 2020 during quarantine. im talking hundreds of dollars spent in cosmetics, hundreds of hours of gameplay, and i haven’t touched it in like 2 years.
Ive been on this game since 2012. Made so many memories with friends. I play it sometimes now. Still love my hardlight
I use to play this when it came out on ps3. I can't believe it is still going strong.
2011, picked it up again a few weeks ago. Can honestly say, it amazes me how good it is now.
Is all the "end game" stuff behind paid dlc walls still?
Man I was there when the game was still in Beta and was stuck in loading screens for HOURS just to log in. This game was A1 since day one for me and my older brother. Some of the happiest memories of my childhood.
I was born in 2011 and i only found out about the game like literally 2-3 years ago but overall I personally still think the game is fire
Played this when it first came out. Loved having friends on it. Wish I could get it back
I played this on and off from launch. I remember when Dual Pistols was considered the worst weapon to use until the glitch combo was found. I use to top the damage in every run and surpas the Gadget power users (considered one of the best powers back at launch).
Bruce Wayne ally is actually a April 1st Prank from the Devs, good video!
I still remember waiting for the beta to be released. I played it, but as someone coming from City of Heroes, I was a bit disappointed with the abilities. It all felt too restrictive. Still had so much fun in raids and just exploring Gotham with my zip line.
I first played dcuo in 2012 when I was 5. I played on my uncles ps3 and he got mad cause I messed up his character
Damn I was an OG player. I remember buying this day one back in 2011 & buying the founders pack.
I haven’t play the game since like 2013. It’s wild to see all the new stuff they have & that they still going.
I used to play this none stop on Ps3, Was ranked quite highly on PVP and played with one of the big English Speaking Clans. So much farming and the raids were insane
as a active player they have made the game soo much better
I was a OG OG player, when the game first came out, my god this was the HEAT. i had power lvl 300 and everything lol, to anyone who hasnt tried out this game ur missing out fr
Wow spmeone actually not crying about DC rare
i remmeber playing this game as a kid and now after graduating hs last year looking back its crazy how long its been
i remembered when this first came out and it was only for playstation plus users on ps3 great times crazy how long this game came about and it’s still relevant now
If they didn't neglect PVP the way they did then I'd probably still be playing. I still remember how epic those 8v8 and 4v4 area battles were. While the PvE content was ok, it was the PvP content/battles that reallly made this game fun for me.
I was a og, played it 5 years straight! Even rushed home in my school breaks to
Play it for only 25 mins 😂
This game is addicting. When it came out I was a noob stuck at lvl 30 and now I go back every few years to feel like a noob on a CR300
Played this game religiously in middle school but by the time 10th grade came all my friends left and it wasn’t the same playing alone
I had a negative experience when I last played the game. But it's nice to see that the still being supported.
Your friends sounds like the type to tell you "Let's finish our castle tomorrow" in Minecraft, only to be last online 9 years ago.
