I feel like this is the one show where it actually makes sense. The whole point is the contrast between the sterilized sanitized life of the adults and the bashful, immature puberty/coming of age of the main cast. I'd go as far as to say that its theme can serve as commentary on sexual liberation and authentic life vs a society of ever-increasing social disconnection and isolation. I do also wonder why there's a narrative in media criticism of sex bad violence good.
yeah i agree, my take goes a bit further tho as in I dont get why they put "fan service" in shows that are meant to have an impactful story and it just ruins the show for me.
