Bless you for posting this podcast in the midst of all your turmoil in your house as well as your town. You still take the time to entertain and make us laugh and encourage all of us. Thank from the bottom of my heart. As my grandfather used to to say “chin up and carry on”, you are doing a great job.
Thank you for posting even though you aren't feeling well. I hope that your weather straightens out and stops causing issues. The cross stitch pattern is beautiful. It's going to be epic when finished and so many colors being used 😍The leather bag is gorgeous! I am going to save this video link. I have been thinking a lot about blankets and I appreciate that you shared your recipes. Hope that you are have an awesome week! 🙂
Thank you for being here today. I’m queued up For surgery without knitting and they are running way late. So here I am. As always everything you do is amazing. ❤ Better weather coming. ❤
@@MousesMakesI was cancelled. 😮 I go Friday now. Surgeon said he had complications on first case ( and still wasn’t done at 1). Two of us got cancelled. The drugs I got have knocked me all day. 😂
I’m so sorry about all of the rain and windy storms that have caused such havoc. That sounds so awful. It was good to see you and knit with you awhile. I hope you are feeling much better very soon.
No apologies needed and you did a podcast although you are not feeling well. About the lack of knitting well you do life and sometimes it will leave you with less time for knitting. The cross stitch go ahead and finish it. You are so special to your subscribers. Those blankets are awesome. Take care ❤😊
Dear Mandy, amazing amount of knitting and dyeing considering the flash flooding and roof problems. Wishing you sunshine. Thank you for sharing your blanket recipes. peace, j 🕊🌞
So sorry to hear that your not feeling well and about the flooding. Will keep you in prayers as well as your town. Short story for you. I was up at 2:30 this morning, why I don’t know.lol Anyway, I sitting on the edge of my bed thinking, I wonder if Mandy and Ruth (from Ruth loves to knit ) will be posting a video today. 😊 Thank you for sharing today even though you weren’t feeling well. ❤❤
I used to do a lot of counted crossstitch, but when my cataracts developed I could no longer see the shades of colors. Switched to knitting and never went back. I did get my cataracts taken care of.
I have got a cross stitch I started 7 years ago !!!! Am going to get out tomorrow & try working on it for 15 minutes a day as would like it finished. Hope the rain eases soon and hope your house not too damaged!!! Catchup next week. 😊
I just bing watch your vlogmas video's and I love them so much that I'm watching all of your video's now. I'm now watching the ones between vlogmas 2023 and vlogmas 2024. When I'm done with those, I'm going to start with episode one. I just love your sense of humor. Even my husband has a laugh so now and then. Your blankets are so beautiful. So sorry to hear about the flooding. I have done a lot of cross stitch in the past, but the last few years it is all knitting and crochet. Greetings from the Netherlands.
You are in good company with the cross stitch. I just picked mine up after 20 years away from it this Christmas. I have some arthritis in my thumb and the doctor wanted me to cool it on the knitting (which is the cause unfortunately). I find that I can't see the holes of the linen design I started so I plodded through it using a magnifier lamp! I decided to purchase some Aida cloth with larger holes and my next design I've been able to stitch with only my regular glasses. I sincerely hope the rain ends and you begin to dry out!!
Mandy, between Denise and now you, I want to get out my cross stitching again. My sister is a beautiful needle pointer, so she is also making me want to. I hope you feel better and that you house stays dry, especially tha yarns!!
Both blankets are fngering weight but the one with the larger squares has it held double. I do say how much each square on each blanket takes in the video, can't remember off the top of my head xx
