The women of Miss Phyllis's era are a rare breed. As I watched her cook, she reminded me of my childhood watching my mother and great aunts. I would sit there and giggle just watching her videos....I commented about her Tupperware sugar container, I knew she had gotten those back in the 70's cause my Mama had the same set. God bless you and your family and thank you for sharing her with us. She had such a soothing sweet manner about her.
Looking at you Stephen is like seeing a young Phyllis. It seems crazy to care for and now miss someone you never met, but that is the effect your mom had on so many. Thank you so much for helping to keep her memory alive. So many of us have worried over and prayed for her over these last months, and now she is rejoicing in Heaven with Bucky. Thank you!
Great stories about the "Dill Balls" and Mr Bucky's upside down fishing adventures! They both must have been great people to be around as a child. Of course Phyllis wouldn't let that "rabied dog" story go without checking that out in the way she used to tell us about investigations she mentioned on her channel. So wished I had met her and Mr. Bucky. They both made me smile. You were blessed Stephen. As I know they believed they were blessed with their kids and grandkids. Thanks for this. Please do post those recipes. I have saved most of your Mom's recipes. She cooked just like my mom. Seeing her and listening to her reminded me so much of my Mother.
This transition of not having Phyllis with us anymore is difficult for most of us even if we didn't know your mom in person. I used to spend my morning (with coffee) and catch up on her videos. Some topics really hit home with me - especially the one about lessons of life her mother taught her. Sitting and watching her just seemed to start the day off well. It became a routine for many of us. I am not alone in thinking that she was loved by a LOT of "strangers" who became connected to her through this channel. Thanks so much for easing our grief as we continue to pray for your family as well. Most of us WISH to be remembered by so many!! God bless you Steven.
Steve your mom must have been so proud of you..thank you for keeping this blog going, we loved your mom and Bucky, will surely miss them both..keep the stories coming we love them One of my favorites I remember when Bucky said to her, what do you want for Christmas and she more or less said, should you get me some Whitmans candy for you to eat since Im not big on chocolates and he said well yes I was thinking you might like some and that went back and forth for 10 minutes and gave me a chuckle..they were darling together!..😎❤👌🍫🍱
Oh Steven, You are a sweetheart! Your Mama and Mr Bucky raised a fine young man!! You have a heart just like your Mama and I love your stories, lol... it’s not easy to get this ol lady laughing but you did and you have a great laugh yourself!! Whatever you post, I’ll be sure to look for and listen to, your a good storyteller (.. just like your Mama😊) whether it’s a recipe or a memory.. or something that’s going on today... and would love to hear about your trips... I know it’s not easy but your doing great! May God bless you young man, in all you do! 😉
She was a gracious lovely lady who shared precious parts of her life and family with us She was so loved by all of us and is missed Thank you for keeping us updated and sharing your precious memories with us What a loving tribute to your mother Keeping her channel going honors both She and Mr Bucky
The Lord called another angel. Ms.Phyllis loved your recipes and storytelling but you are with Mr. Bucky now. Know that you touched many people with your wonderful heart. Blessings.
Phyllis hot chocolate is a big hit in my family. Whenever I'm about to make it, "who wants phyllis' hot chocolate?!" it's a resounding yes. Your mother lives in our home. She ignited a passion for cooking for me. ♥️
"Precious memories how they linger, How they ever flood my soul. In the stillness of the midnight Precious sacred scenes unfold." I'm so sorry for your loss......
I hope your willingness to share stories isn’t an undue burden. Love hearing these insights and is even more endearing. I continue to watch her videos and would love more recipes and please take us on your travels.
Phyllis and Bucky had "goodness" just shining through my laptop screen. I felt like I 'd arrived home when I clicked on one of her videos. Thank you,Steven, for these nice stories. Sincerely,Faith and Tony Falcone
I am so grateful to what she gave to TH-cam. I don't know of any woman who makes me feel so good just watching. Don't know what it is that makes her awesome, but she is awesome. She is and will continue to be my go to videos for comfort!! Nobody could ask for a better mom or wife.
-( with tears in my eyes, ) Steven, Sir ; you are an amazing man and I’m sure your Mother and Bucky saw that in you long before you ever did. I cry tears of sadness and joy in hearing your memorable stories. I miss your mom . I like watching you speak and your facial expressions as you do so. You have A LOT of your mother in you. I’d love for you to continue on with any cooking and recipes you have. If that fits into your life and makes you happy, I; along with MANY MORE would very much enjoy those new videos . Much love Mr. Steven and family. Please take care of each other and spread the love.
I didn't know your mother personally and never interacted with her in any way other than watching her videos, but I felt like she was part of my family. My favorite "Aunt Phyllis". Her stories and way of life intrigued me and I enjoyed watching her and looked forward to every video. I'm so very sorry for your loss Mr. Ritter. You resemble her a great deal. Peace be with you sir and keep posting whatever you feel is appropriate, I will keep watching. May God bless you and your family and bring you comfort during this difficult time.
After my mother passed away when I was 27 years old, the Lord showed me the only thing that matters is the love and the memories that were made. Thank you for sharing yours with us. That meant a lot. God bless you.
I have watched Ms. Phyllis and Mr. Bucky for the last 6 years, after I found her I had to go back and watch what she had posted to get caught up LOL. You are truly blessed that you have your mama on video and can go and watch her anytime. She had one of the best channels on TH-cam, and she will be so sadly missed by her TH-cam family!!! Please don't take her channel down as there are several recipes that I refer back to....such as her biscuits (the best) and I just love watching her make them....well make anything really.
I don't know why, but listening to you tell stories about Phyllis and Bucky..the way you tell it is so much like the way Phyllis told stories. It is bittersweet listening to you, but it is comforting because it's like a little bit of Phyllis is still with us. Thank you for that:)
Taught us how to cook, how to behave, how to love, how to pray.... what a legacy. We should all be as fortunate as to leave a fraction of that info. Thank you for continuing the tradition. We are all grateful.
Stephen, I don’t know if you can understand this or not because none of us in TH-cam land actually knew your mom or Mr. Bucky but when she passed away I was so sad just as I would have been if I had lost a family member. They didn’t know us but we certainly knew them. It is so kind and thoughtful of you to record your own videos on your moms channel. I think I speak for all of her fans when I say it is a great comfort to us to watch your videos and for you to reach out to us in this way. I didn’t know Phyllis’s channel helped the children at the academy. That is just wonderful and great that you want to continue to help them through her channel. I usually have her videos on auto play during the day because I know the views help the children. You have the same gift as your mom with story telling and I’m sure you are a good cook too. Again, your videos are a great comfort to us as we also grieve your moms loss. Thank you for keeping her channel going. We love you already Stephen!
I feel exactly the same way. I lost a friend that I never met. Sounds weird, but I really loved when Phyllis would chat with us. She connected with more of us than she probably ever knew. ❤️
Hello Steven. We appreciate you coming back and telling stories of mom and Mr. Bucky and we would love you coming back every now and then to tell more stories or even you doing some cooking or grilling.
Miss Phyllis was gorgeous & Mr Bucky was handsome, they made such a stunning couple together! But they were beautiful inside also, not just on the outside where beauty fades!
You are a wonderful man and son! Phyllis must be bursting with pride from heaven. I'm sooo sorry for the loss of all of us here on earth without Phyllis and Mr. Bucky. Thank you for your tributes and keeping in touch. I wish you the best as you navigate your very personal grief. God bless you, Steven!
What great memories! You sure do resemble your beautiful Mom. I will miss her calming demeanor and good old home cooked recipes. I'm glad that her pain is now gone and that she and Mr. Bucky are together again forever. ❤RIP Phyllis & Bucky❤
Im sure after military service your skin isn't to thin when it comes to cruel comments, please ignore them. The rest of us appreciate your stories of Both your mom and Bucky just as we loved her and her stories. She was quite a lady and had a great sense of humor and Character.
You look like your Mother..listening to you is the next best thing to her..luvvv the stories and blessings and peace to you and your family and rest in peace to a beautiful couple. ⚘🕊🕊⚘
Hello Steven, Your Mom was so dear as was Mr. Bucky. There were two videos that your Dear Mom posted that will always make me laugh when I think of them one was Mr. Bucky talking about getting her a Whitman's Sampler for a Christmas gift and the other was the two of them talking about what they were going to have for supper - Mr. Bucky wanted a Harde's hamburger and your Mom was adamant that she wasn't eating that greasy burger!! It was so kind of you to do this video - thank you so much. Looking at you is like looking at you dear Mom... you look so much alike! She was amazing and I loved her exacting nature and her passion for teaching and sharing so much with us on TH-cam. I look forward to your future video's and stories. You take care and May God Bless You and comfort You during this time of great sorrow. Take Care, Steve. ~kendra
Love all their videos. I can’t forget when Phyllis rescued two feral kittens and then found homes for them even though she didn’t seem much of a cat person. Or when she taught us how to properly clean melons. Or her trips to buy produce. Her stories about what life was like growing up. The doggies always by Mr. Buckeys side. They will be missed.
Anything you want to do on this channel, I will watch! Matter of fact, if you just want to stand on your head in the corner for 10 minutes and film that, I will watch it. That's how much I love your mother and want to continue some connection with her family. God bless you!
I'm sitting here crying my damned eyes out over a woman I have never seen in real life. She always reminded me of my sister. Heaven is just a little better now and the angels a little more plump.
Steven, I love how TH-cam is allowing so many of us to get to know part youtubers lives. I know that not everything on here is good but I truly enjoy getting to know people I probably will never meet. Watching Mrs. Phyllis and Mr. Bucky talk, cook and tell stories was and still is a great big blessing to me. I look forward to see what you will be doing here. God bless you and your family in Jesus name.

Just thinking about Mrs Phyllis and how I enjoyed seeing you tell about your memories. I hope we can see you often on her channel ! Thank you so very much!
*Yes! Yes!! Yes!!! We vote yes!!!* We'd love to see you do the video ideas for recipes she had all lined up for us viewers!! That'd be such a great legacy to do in her memory. She'd be so proud of you doing this for her viewers! And we are truly honored that you'd do this. It says a lot about what kind of man she raised. (Thoughtful, considerate, kind...a true gem she raised.) 🤗
Your mom was a very SPECIAL lady! She made everyone feel like family while visiting her in her kitchen. She was a jewel on earth. I know she is having a blast in paradise reunited with Mr Bucky. Prayers for you and your family. God’s Grace! ❤️
Thank you Steven for spending the time to speak to us. She was so sweet and precious to us as was Mr. Bucky. I think sharing their memories you have it will be healing for you. You are a fine man and she was so proud of you. God bless you!
What a testament your mom was to have a complete circle of friends from around the world come together to honor her. Thank you for sharing some sweet memories. ❤️
I used to watch your mother's videos years ago while in college. I learned pie crust and pumpkin pie and bread baking from her tutorials. I just thought about her recently and decided to look up her channel again. I was sad to hear that she passed away. She seemed like a very warm, family-oriented person. Hope your family is doing well.
wow, you are Your mother's twin! Your story about Mr. Bucky getting knocked down by that wave with his feet and fishing pole sticking straight out the water had me laughing 😀
It amazes me how small our footprints are, but how huge our influence is, on the world! Stephen, your Mom was a very special Lady. She had a HUGE influence on many people throughout the world! She will be missed!
Just looking back... Gosh I still miss your mom! You have been so good to keep the channel going! Getting to know you and your family has been wonderful, too. May God Bless YOU and your family, Stephen!
Stephen - Yes , I would like to see your video’s on your travels and hear more of your childhood too . Maybe make some of your Mom’s recipes - even if U can’t cook it would be great to see U try . You know U have instantly became a STAR . U can’t leave all of us thousands and thousands of people . You’ve GOT THIS 👍🏼❤️
I just can't stop crying. I didn't know until today that she had passed. Like most of her fans, I never knew her, but I feel as though I have lost a close friend. Your mother was so special. We were all blessed to have been invited into her world through her videos. I wish I could have thanked her.
You remind me of your sweet momma! God bless you as you move forward - it was so thoughtful of you to give updates. We all loved your mom and Mr Bucky!
You are very handsome and sweet. Your Mom & Dad were proud. I'm sure of it. What you are doing for them is pure love and very kind. Keep the legend living on & her memory alive. I'm sorry you lost them so soon, but know in your heart they are probably sitting right there next to you by your side forever. 💕😘
Thank you for sharing your stories with us. Your mother was a wonderful person with a kind heart and gentle soul. She had a unique and blessed marriage with Mr. Bucky. I told my husband last night, although I never met her, I felt like she was a best friend. I loved her recipes, however, her story telling the best. She touched many lives.
Steven, one of my favorite video's your Mom & Bucky did was on how they met! On that video, she talked about taking you kids with her and Bucky on their honeymoon! Precious story indeed! Please continue talking to us, and as far as her recipes, perhaps have a book made with family photo's for we fans to purchase! Your Mother and Bucky were amazing people and you posting this video helps "we" her fans grieve over her loss! I'd love to have her Biscuit recipe indeed! My prayers are with you all! God bless! (P.S. Thank you in posting your Mom's charity! That will help me feel I am doing something for your Mother by sending a donation!) Peace to you & your brother!
I watched that one too, after I heard Stephen's video of his Mom's passing. Went from being teary eyed to smiling watching them tell their story. Mr. Bucky seemed to just adore her as she told of their love. What an amazing couple. What a wonderful love story. ❤❤
I will always love Ms Phyllis and Mr Bucky. I know it was a glad union when she got to see Renee and her beloved husband. Wonderful people, they will be missed. Thank you for the sweet stories. You remind me of your mother.
Stephen, I want to thank you for doing these little videos. They make me laugh, cry, and feel like I knew Mr. Bucky and Miss Phyllis more than I actually knew them from their videos. They would be so happy that you have kept the channel open(I believe you said Miss Phyllis wanted this to help Miss Renee's school/daycare). Thank you. Your mother and Mr. Bucky were so much loved. I can hardly believe they are gone from this world, but Thank you for keeping them close for us all through video. Much love to your family.
Young man, you have inherited a captive TH-cam audience from your beloved Mom! She was intelligent and business savvy, yet soft spoken, gentle with pets and a skilled crafts woman (cooking, sewing, remodeling, gardening, shopping wisely, and storytelling.). Diversity was her strong point. Like mother - like son. Welcome and thank you.
Stephen, I'm 70 yrs old. My parents died in 1996 and 1998. I still have little dreams, and memories and touches of depression due to losing them. I have even caught myself talking to my mom and quickly jumping back to reality, but amazed that seemed she was with me. My point is to say they never really leave your presence and you never ever really get over the loss, but it does get easier to accept and move on as time goes by. Yes, you are a mature rational man as was I, but as a loving human being pain is never painless, just endurable. You have a wonderful family, thanks to you and your parents. Best to you and yours. I understand you are a Colonel. I worked for Colonel Finley in Wuerzberg as chief of master planning during Kosovo, and later in Korea. I have fond memories working with the military around the world. You life about the world would be interesting. Jim
You're a kind soul Steven. With so much going on in your life, you made time for your mamas followers. We thank you! Mrs. Phyllis and Bucky were a joy to listen to. I have made many recipes side by side with your mama. God bless you and yours.
@@TheDUNLOP6 thank you. Mrs. Phyllis with her soothing tone and sharing will be greatly missed by many. Her son has the same soothing tone in his voice. God bless and stay well.
Hello Stephen, I miss your Mother, and Mr. Bucky, I do feel the loss. Particularly your Mother. I was impressed with her soft spoken, gentle and creative abilities. What a cook! I hope you don't mind my saying so. I do see resemblance to your mother. And when with your finger, you pointed down for viewers to note the school address below. The movement of your hand and position of fingers reminded me of your mother. When she would gesture below. I would enjoy your recipes, and any information you would like to share with us, your viewers.
Thank you for sharing your stories of your mom and Mr. Bucky. They were such a cute couple, I enjoyed watching your mom cook and how at the end of each video she would show each plate for her and Mr. Bucky. As I was cooking today I realized just how many gadgets in my kitchen were items she would recommend and I bought. My favorite being the Buffalo cups I use everyday. God Bless you and your family.
I learned about natural burial through your Mom. It touched my heart and changed my mind about how I want to be buried. Condolences for you and your family.
I live in UK and I loved watching your mom's videos learning some of the recipe's from USA , and trying them for my family , her voice was calming and I could listen to her videos for hours even going back over videos I'd watched before just so I could listen again and again , her and Mr Bucky's relationship was something I could aim for in my marriage , just the way they were together . I will miss her , and I do hope you carry her channel on , love and hugs from here in Nottingham in UK , God bless and keep her and Mr Bucky , and both of her family's , because she made us all feel like family , she had a special gift and if I can be anything like her my life will be worth while , she will be remembered by lots of people.
I am very saddened to learn of the passing of your wonderful mother. I send you my heartfelt condolences. She was such a lovely lady and I will miss her.
I'm laughing so hard at the dill balls! Your face structure is exactly like your Mother's I can definitely see a strong resemblance.Thank you so much for taking some time out to share some of your memories with her TH-cam family. We love her so much. I know she is happy to be with The Lord and out of physical pain. God bless you and your entire family. Edit: Well now I'm crying listening to the dog story. Your Momma was doing what we Mommas do for our babies. We will go to the ends of the earth to protect our babies❤
I just looked at the video of your mother an Mr. Bucky talking about how they met, how the blended family turned out perfectly. I just loved that story. A blessing to find true love.
I am so sorry to hear of Phyllis passing. I started to watch her about a year ago. Really enjoyed her recipes. Some brought memories back when my mother prepared some easy but delicious dinners. I will really miss her and Mr Bucky, My warm thoughts from 🇨🇦
I was looking on TH-cam because I hadn’t seen anything from mrs Phyllis I was so heart broken to hear of her passing such a sweet kind lady loved watching her may you Rest In Peace mrs Phyllis know you’re in the arms of Jesus love and miss you ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I am still in denial Steven, it's so hard to lose someone who really makes a difference in life, I love the stories, and I always loved how she made us all feel special....Blessings to you and the whole family...
I am so sorry for your loss, my mum is seriously ill in a nursing home over here in England and I am dreading the day that she passes so please let me send my heartfelt sympathy to you and all your family god bless and take care.
I checked socialblade and I was tickled to see our sweet Ms Phillis’s channel gained 3 thousand subscribers this year ! Hopefully that revenue will help her beloved school as Steven mentioned she had hoped . It still seems so strange that she is gone , but she will ever remain in our hearts and we have such sweet memories of our “ visits “ with her through this channel . I know she is so happy to be with Mr Bucky and her daughter Renee’ . I will always remember her advice on cooking and life in general .I keep watching videos and plan on making some of her recipes . My small way of honoring her memory, . I hope others will continue to do the same . If you see this Steven , thank you for sharing this beautiful video . You were blessed with the most wonderful mother and we all loved her and miss her so much ..... hugs to you and the rest of the family 💞🙏🏻💞🙏🏻💞
I think it would be such a wonderful tribute to your mom to collect her recipes, write them down and publish a book. The proceeds could go to the school. I so admired their relationship. It was just so wonderful to see two people who loved and respected each other. They were clearly each other’s best friend. OH, yes, please do some videos of those recipes!
When you speak, your facial expressions are often reiminiscent of your mother. How blessed you were to have had such parents. Your willingness to pay tribute to them publicly is a blessing to us all as you fulfill the Commandment: "Honor thy father and thy mother...--Exodus 20:12. Isn't it wonderful to know that as a follower of Jesus Christ, you will see them again.
Steven, Your great mom would be so very proud of you . I know this is a rough time , you are making your mom proud I can see it . You are very articulate and interesting as your mom was . I never thought she would get sick with all her smoothies and great food , God wanted her near , she was a great inspiration to me , I remember her gravely voice the most , that is what caught me . I believer was the southern biscuits and then I discovered her other talents, home decorating, mobile home redone, such a rich person, God Bless you Keep it up you are a proud son as you should be . Tears in my eyes , be strong, Gino Niagara Falls N.Y.
My heart is heavy with sadness that your mom has passed. Please know she was beautiful lady and will be missed. I hope we will be able to revisit her recipes and life lessons. Love and prayers.

I see a lot of your mom in your warmth, sincerity, eyes, and mannerisms.
I think we have a new love in Stephen. You are as sweet as can be! Thanks for keeping Ms.Phyllis’ channel going.

Thank you Steven for talking to us. We loved your mother and your stories are helping us grieve. Please keep the stories coming.
Jumpybacon 1 ....So well said! I totally agree with you! Thankyou and Thankyou Stephen!
I feel exactly the same way. I lost a friend that I never met. Sounds weird, but I really loved when Phyllis would chat with us. She connected with more of us than she probably ever knew. ❤️
Amen!
Agreed! Well said!
Yes, my thoughts exactly 💗
I’m sure going to miss them both so much ,but I’m so happy their together again I know she missed her husband so much .
You look so much like your mother. She was a beautiful lady.
Isn't it precious just to see the legacy of such high regard and praise your parents have left the family. That's a legacy money can't buy!!
You look like your Mother..listening to you is the next best thing to her..luvvv the stories and blessings and peace to you and your family and rest in peace to a beautiful couple. ⚘🕊🕊⚘
Thank you Stephen for keeping this going for all of us who adored your mother and Mr Bucky. You are doing a great job, God bless you!
Your Mom had such a Beautiful spirit. She and Mr. Bucky touched so many lives. I'm truly sorry for your loss.

*Yes! Yes!!
Greetings from England, Bless Phyllis and Bucky's memory, sorry for your loss, much love.

Yes please keep her channel going with stories, recipes, cooking, whatever else you'd like to video! Thank you!
It amazes me how small our footprints are, but how huge our influence is, on the world!
Stephen, your Mom was a very special
Lady. She had a HUGE influence on many people throughout the world!
She will be missed!
Just looking back... Gosh I still miss your mom! You have been so good to keep the channel going! Getting to know you and your family has been wonderful, too. May God Bless YOU and your family, Stephen!
Thank you so much!!
The loss of Phyllis has left a huge hole in my life. I only knew her through her videos but I won't forget her.
You’ve GOT THIS 👍🏼❤️
Your mom was a gentle soul..bless you for reaching
Out she would be proud!
I just can't stop crying. I didn't know until today that she had passed. Like most of her fans, I never knew her, but I feel as though I have lost a close friend. Your mother was so special. We were all blessed to have been invited into her world through her videos. I wish I could have thanked her.
I can still see Phyllis through you. Thanks for keeping her dream alive 😊
I have missed Miss Phyllis so much. You look just like her. Thanks for the stories so funny. God Bless you so much.
Stephen,
I'm 70 yrs old.
Susanna Schnell So sweet of you let’s hope we can keep him sharing!
@@TheDUNLOP6 thank you. Mrs. Phyllis with her soothing tone and sharing will be greatly missed by many. Her son has the same soothing tone in his voice. God bless and stay well.
Love Phyllis and her sweet heart & the way she taught cooking❣ We'll miss her but know we'll see her in heaven ✝️ ❤🙏🏻💞🌼
Rosemary Hamilton Thank you for the kind words!
He really does favor his mom!
You know your mom is watching this and getting a good chuckle Steven! God bless her and Mr. Buckey. They were two kind souls.
You look a lot like your mama, facial expressions and mannerisms....thank you for keeping us all in the loop..

I will really miss her and Mr Bucky,

Talking to us about your mom and Bucky is therapeutic for you. God knows what it will take to help you through this period. God bless you.
Gloria Shauf I, too, was going to say how wonderful to have parents such as ms Phyllis and Mr Bucky!!! Thanks for saying it!!!
Yes
God bless you! Your mom is in the arms of God and surrounded by angels
Truly she is, amen ♡
I'll miss her videos! She was a great lady.
Steven,
Your great mom would be so very proud of you . I know this is a rough time , you are making your mom proud I can see it . You are very articulate and interesting as your mom was .
I never thought she would get sick with all her smoothies and great food ,
God wanted her near , she was a great inspiration to me , I remember her gravely voice the most , that is what caught me . I believer was the southern biscuits and then I discovered her other talents, home decorating, mobile home redone, such a rich person,
God Bless you Keep it up you are a proud son as you should be .
Tears in my eyes , be strong,
Gino Niagara Falls N.Y.
I loved watching your mom. My prayers are with you and your family. Thank you for continuing on.
My heart is heavy with sadness that your mom has passed. Please know she was beautiful lady and will be missed. I hope we will be able to revisit her recipes and life lessons. Love and prayers.
