I'm glad you like JP :) It's my favorite movie! If you haven't already watched it, I recommend JW's Camp Cretaceous series (which, despite being more for kids, feels much more like a proper continuation of JP than the JW movies). Also, if you wanna learn about real dinos (which technically include birds), I highly recommend Darren Naish's "Dinosaurs: How They Lived and Evolved" (the best adult intro to the whole story of dinos) & "Dinopedia: A Brief Compendium of Dinosaur Lore" (the best adult guide to dinos & their cultural impact since the 1970s).
Fun Fact: The scene with the Triceratops, those were genuine reactions from the actors because they weren't allowed to see the animatronic dinosaur yet until that scene, so Spielberg wanted to be sure to capture their real genuine reactions on camera. It's the most emotional and beautiful scene. 😊
Noo it was not the whole set was prepared everything was agreed before they started the scene its a movie but most is alleready calculated before they say CUT on set many scenes is filmed with triceratops but those files are hidden in universal pictures hollywood data bases soooo me and other ppl here dont even know what youre trying to reffer to

I saw this 6 times in theaters with different people every time, that's how epic it was. Absolutely perfect combinations of practical and CGI, before they completely relied.
I will never forget that feeling either, Spielberg developed a new sound system in preparation for this film. It was distributed all across the nation. I was a little kid, but I BEGGED my dad to bring me. I’m so glad he did, I will never forget it.
@@joshuacoldwater the most impressive scene for me (besides those vibrations in water from the T-Rex) was the helicopter approaching (scene at 11:10) : i watched it in an open air cinema where they had setup maybe 20+ huge loudspeakers all around the front, back, and sides of the entire cinema. And when the Helicopter first could only be heard, all twenty thousand (!!!) viewers turned around and looked to the sky, LOL
I saw this when I was 12 at least 3 times in the theater and I also read the book, Im still fascinated by dinosaurs and wanted to be a paleontologist 😅
the irony of Hammond saying "i spared no expense" every 30 seconds yet when it came to Nedry, he stiffed him on overtime. If he had just paid him enough then the sabotage wouldnt have happened lol
That was nedry being an idiot, not Hammond stiffing him. If you need concrete evidence on that, read the book. Yeah, Hammond was the villain but Nedry was an idiot.
As a tip to help you guys with your "talking over the movie" problem you mentioned. It's a reaction video, we want to hear your thoughts and emotions, but it does get annoying if a reactor misses something important because they're talking over the movie. I think a good solution is to turn on the subtitles, that way you guys can still read what's happening while you talk. Hope that helps! Keep watching movies guys!
Well, he did spare one huge expense, ignorantly that caused all these problems: You would think he would have had a backup security system company where if you shut down security fences as Dennis did, you would have to get approval from an outside source, first and approval by hammond, the old man, before you were allowed to shut so many systems down.
So the real Velociraptor was actually quite small standing only about two feet high. The Raptors in the movie were actually modeled after the Deinonychus, but even then were enlarged as the Deinonychus would only stand about waist high. The fun thing is that when the movie began production, there weren't any known "raptor" species the size they made them. But only a few months before the movie came out, the Utahraptor was discovered which if anything is a little larger than the ones in the movie.
If I'm not mistaken it was like 5 metres long xD I think the Utahraptor has been (or still is? sorry can't remember, probably they found bigger ones... can't remember if the Dakotaraptor was bigger...) the biggest known raptor
Dakotaraptor is currently classed as invalid due to controversy. The paleontologist who discovered the fossil is known for making mistakes or errors before, while another paleontologist claims with what he had for study that the fossil may be invalid. The one who discovered the fossil is also not allowing other scientists to study it. But you are correct that Utahraptor is currently the largest raptor...for now. A fragment fossil of what might be another raptor dubbed, "The Bissekty Giant," is currently being looked over, and if it's real then this fella would be larger than Utahraptor.
Let's not call them negative comments. Rather they should be considered constructive criticism. Unless someone is just being a total ass. For you guys to address your short comings is very commendable and appreciated. You just earned my subscription.
I loved this reaction but as a bit of constructive criticism I will say that I found the constantly playing Mortal Kombat game in the top right hand corner a bit distracting. That's my only gripe though.
It doesn't matter how often I've seen Jurassic Park, that scene in the maintenance bunker when the Raptor shows up behind Ellie will always get me with the jumpscare. Side notes: The dinosaur sounds in this movie were made by combining sounds made by living animals and everyday objects. The Tyrannosaurus rex, affectionately known as Rexy, was a mix of elephant calf vocalizations (roar, snarls and growls), with koala, lion & tiger sounds and alligator gurgles thrown in and a dog playing with a rope toy (shaking the Gallimimus to death). The Dilophosaurus was a mix of hawk, swan, howler monkey and rattlesnake sounds. The adult Raptors were a mix of a walrus chest roar and dolphin mating scream, while the hatchling was a mix of owlet and fox kit sounds. The Brachiosaurus vocalizations were slowed down donkey brays, while the sneeze was a mix of an active fire hydrant and a whale breathing through its blowhole(s). (There's an "s" in parentheses because depending on whether or not whales have teeth or baleen plates (think of them as biological water filters) in their mouths, whales have either one of two blowholes) The Gallimimus's chief sound effect was made using the recorded calls of a mare (female horse) in heat, while their movements were inspired by those of ostriches. A good portion of this movie was shot on the Hawaiian island of Kauai. Whenever I hear Hammond ask "Who's hungry?", my first reaction every time is "Not after hearing the Raptors rip the cow apart." Lego released 30th anniversary sets in honor of Jurassic Park and the one I have is based on Dennis Nedry's encounter with the Dilophosaurus.
Do you know what a 'straw-man' is? A straw-man is when you purposely misrepresent someone else's argument or point, or re-frame it as something it's not, knowingly. So for example, I know for a fact (and I'm willing to bet you do too) that literally *no one* making that assessment wants them to sit there completely silently during their reactions. An _honest_ framing of their point, is something moderate. So, for example, turning on subtitles. That way they don't miss important plot points while they're talking, because they can read at the same time. Or a favored technique by reactors, being to pause the movie to talk for longer periods, and resuming when they're finished. Neither of those two options require them to sit silently. Straw-mans are the *height* of intellectual dishonesty.
It’s funny how people react like this is a monster movie. It’s especially apparent during the T Rex chase scene when he said “wow, its just going to let them go?”. It’s easy to forget that these aren’t mythical creatures but real animals that actually existed. Much like Cheetahs, a T Rex was only capable of short burst of speed before becoming exhausted. So yes, it let them go because it wouldn’t have been able to keep pace with a car and for any length of time.
Well in movies like Peter Jackson’s King Kong, the trex was falling to its death and still attacking the people like during a free fall to death as if it was thinking “I’m hungry” instead of “oh shit I’m about to die” That’s movies for ya
Its a movie, the T-Rex can hold the pace as long as the plot needs it. And even in the book they turn from "just animals" to "must hunt and eat humans at all costs" monsters. One arc is the T-Rex on a personal vendetta hunting Dr. Grant and the kids over the whole island, and the raptors eat their way through steel bars and concrete to get to Ian Malcom.
@@wolf310ii Right - and here, fully fed animals wouldn’t have the need to be so aggressive and eat so much. I mean they could, but it’s not particularly “realistic.” They also nerf the T-Rex somewhat (I guess slightly differently than in the book), but I don’t mind because er i don’t think that for example dinosaurs without feathers or a t-rex with impaired eyesight are pernicious myths lol. They still explain things fairly well.
But monster movies aren’t just mythical creatures. They can be humans, robots (not necessarily realistic as of yet lol, but they aren’t dragons), animals, or other. And these aren’t purely realistic portrayals of dinosaurs or even most predators, though they do have a lot of realism and imo explain things pretty well overall. But it absolutely is partly a monster movie, which is part of why I like this reaction. I mean I believe the real T-Rex moved a lot faster, its eyesight wasn’t based on movement, and predators wouldn’t necessarily be more aggressive than herbivores.
Saw this 6X in theater when I was 8. Best movie experience of my life. Glad they didn’t just make them monsters. Showed their majesty, power. Simply magical.
Guys, everybody does it their own way, including Y'all! I'm glad you don't take the negative comments to heart! Y'all seem like a very nice couple! Keep on going, and never let the negative comments bother you!
@ajandselena don't mind the bad comments, you are doing great. Part of a reaction video is for you to talk and react to the movie, that's why we are all here to basically watch the movies with both of you. ❤❤❤ keep up the good work, love the channel. 😊
@@ajandselena hey, just came across your channel and absolutely loved your reaction to Jurassic Park, in fact it was one of the best reactions I've ever seen for this movie. I also do appreciate that y'all don't talk too much over the movie unlike some other youtube reactors and just watch the movie and react to it. I definitely think y'all should react to all the other parts as well and maybe y'all can start with part 2 next.

@@ajandselena for real. One of those rare movies that is timeless like Jaws and Predator and Terminator 2 and Aliens. Looking forward to more of your reactions
I still find it incredible that they were originally NOT going to have the T-Rex come in at the end. That last minute decision was just cinema magic at its best I swear.
Dr Hammond is played by the late, great Sir Richard Attenborough - a brilliant director and actor in his own right and brother of the famous broadcaster and biologist Sir David Attenborough 🤓🇬🇧
Take it from a new subscriber, your reaction was absolutely perfect; before the movie you gave a very humble message and genuine talk. You guys really wanted to make a great reaction and you nailed it. I saw a few other reactions from you guys and they were great also so I have no issue. I find you both super nice and you have a nice calm demeanor. And yes, please react to all the Jurrasic Park movies. I enjoyed them all; they were very entertaining; interesting and fun. I would not be concerned with the opinions of what people thought of the movies. It is the way you react to them is why most people watch. As more people watch your reactions, your channel will grow more and more. But I do agree that with some channels, some talk excessively and it ruins the reaction. You reaction was genuine today and most want people to react naturally. I look forward to more reactions. Thanks for reading my comment.
Thank you so much! It takes so much time to record and edit these videos and we really hope people can enjoy it! So comments like this means the world 🥹
7:16 That is probably a nod to the novel on how Dennis Nedry died; blinded, gutted, and his head crushed in the dinosaur’s jaws. His death in the movie was quick and easy compared to how he died in the book.
This is my first time watching a reaction from you two and I loved it! I'm sorry about the mean, rude, unnecessary comments. Constructive criticism can be good and even that can be hard for me to swallow at times. But I love the attitude, demeanor & civility in the way both of you express yourselves in addressing negative comments... some of which sound like they might be mean-spirited. I love Jurassic Park and I enjoyed watching it with you as you both experienced it for the first time. You inspire me to be better, to be less reactive and more thoughtful. The aura you two emit is one of tremendous compassion... what a nice way to be. 😊 Thank you! Much love and God bless!
As someone who cant watch heavy action movies or movies that flash alot, I got overwhelmed by your arcade game and I constantly was looking over at it cause it was catxhing my eye. The reaction itself was golden. This is my first reaction by you guys, and you seem seasoned in this one. Great Job!!
The music is composed by John Williams. He’s composed all the memorable movie tracks you think of. Star Wars, Jaws, Harry Potter, Indiana Jones, E.T, Superman etc etc. the man is a genius at scoring emotionally rousing compositions.
Jurassic Park is iconic. It’s a Top 15 movie of all time along with other classics like Titanic, Star Wars, Avatar, Harry Potter, Lord Of The Rings, Goodfellas, Pulp Fiction, Scarface, Godfather, Fast & Furious, Dark Knight, Avengers, Pirates Of The Caribbean, & Saving Private Ryan.
Y'all. i saw this 25 times in the theatre when in came out. Spielberg invented the blockbuster with 'Jaws' then reinvented it with JP. By the end of that summer, my parents were dropping me off at the driv- in theatre three nights a week with a lawn chair and a sleeping bag, insisting I find my own ride home. OBSESSED.
I was 32 when this came out. I remember my best friend coming up to me and saying “you’ll think the dinosaurs are real!” It was just so groundbreaking for its time. Check out The Thing for some on the best practical effects ever!
"It's a Unix system. I know this!" Funny story about that bit - you remember those graphics they showed on screen of Lex going around looking at various park systems? The 3D graphics stuff that was obviously pre-rendered? Nah, that was a genuine file browser of the period. And was running on a Unix system no less. One of the very few times a film showed something cool that's computer related and it wasn't completely made up. Hell, you can actually still run it today. In the film it was running on IRIX on an SGI computer - the same computers they used to render the graphics used in this very film, but today you can run File System Visualiser on any Unix decendant - like Linux. Probably also runs on OSX as well, also derived from Unix, and you can probably run it via the Linux Subsystem for Windows.
Hey guys. I just found your channel and I wanted to address the criticism you say you have received. Here's the thing - there are A LOT of reaction channels on YT and if you talk too much for some people's liking then they can choose to watch one of those other channels. I understand that your channel is new and you want to get your subscriber numbers up but you should also be your authentic selves. If that is off-putting to some folks, again, lots of other channels for them to choose from. What a lot of people don't understand is that if you do your own editing and there is something you missed during the initial watch, you will see it (probably several times) during the editing process. Subbed!
11:06 John Williams is a genius as usual. "Journey to the Island" is my favorite piece and def you've heard it before... 12:08 😊 The musical themes are really expressive and his use of pressure and release is perfect. This part reminds me a bit of Star Wars 14:40 In 1993, I was 12 and this blew me away.
I personally love reactors that talk throughout. I’m here for the ongoing commentary. I don’t like the style of reactions with either little to no talking, I’m here to see other people’s thought and opinions on movies. I just stumbled across this video - first time watcher. You guys have a good vibe, I would never have guessed you’re new to reacting 😊
Great reaction! You two are so fun to watch! Don't worry. I thoroughly enjoy your reactions so far and I watch a ton of reactions. I actually thought you two been doing for while. Good production so far! And you're doing it yourself, well done! Just skip reading the negative comments, 😁You two are doing great!
The triceratops was an anamatronic robot. It was there. The poop was there. (Not real poop.) This movie was visually groundbreaking, but the cgi was pretty much limited to full body shots of the dinosaurs running. Everything else was anamatronic and practical.
I saw this with my daughter when it first came out. I was floored. With any kind of dinosaur shown in films, they never had weight. These, you can feel their weight and movement. You have to remember, they were in the bird family and forbidden (ravens, crows, magpies) who are wicked smart.
saw it in cinema, must have been 10y old at the time and I can tell you it was something. And you have to remember that JP came out right at the time of surround sounds and they were actually handcrafting sounds for cinema experience. It was crazy terrifying to hear things run pass behind you, nowadays surrounds sounds been all but abandoned it seems.
Fun fact:every dinosaur in this movie is an animatronic and they used cgi to make them look real and alive which had never been done before the movie was almost completely stop motion 😅
Uhhhh not ever dinosaur was an animatronic....most were purely cgi, rexy close ups, the trike, some raptor scenes and that one brachiosaurus close up are the animatronics. Still ground breaking work but don't be saying every single Dino was an animatronic lol
I feel so bad for this generation who never got to see this film in the theater in 1993. It was an extraordinary experience and the "welcome to Jurassic Park" scene was something I'll never forget. I was 9 years old and it changed my life.
Also, so people who are saying you guys talk over too much of the movie or whatever, don't mind them. Let them hate. Let them spew whatever they want you guys are doing A. Reaction, OK, it's a reaction meaning we as viewers want to hear what you think. What are your thoughts? I've watched a lot of. Movie reactions and I got my favorites that I go to. So keep doing your thing and don't worry about them
Thank you so much! It’s a work in progress. Still want to give our natural reaction and share our thoughts but just not over important parts of the film that should be shown/heard
I saw this movie 11 times in the theater. Seeing the special effects on the big screen was overwhelming. Its was amazing. Since 1993, my favorite dinosaur has been the velociraptor. Also, there's too much jumping over scenes that are important. Its frustrating.
42:50 This happens in real life, too. Lions and cheetahs will give up on prey if they get too tired or if they lose their advantage. They said earlier that a Trex runs at 35 mph, and that jeep went into 4th gear, so the jeep is going at LEAST 45 mph. Also, a driving point in the movie is that these are ANIMALS, not monsters. Animals get tired. Too many dumber monster movies wouldnt have little details like that, but thatd what makes this movie slightly classier.
When I saw this in the theater when it came out it was a new level of realism. About midway through the movie they found it necessary to stop the movie because someone had a heart attack while watching it.
So I know that you said you tried not to talk so much during this video but I thought you had some great reactions and honestly wished you commented a little more. People probably just want you to pause, especially if the movie is in the middle of an exposition dump, I know I've felt sad when a reactor has missed an important plot detail because they were talking and then the movie didn't hit as hard in the end. Saw some people suggesting to turn on subtitles and I think it's a great idea but you've got a new sub either way!! Thnks for the reaction :)
Great reaction to my favorite movie of all time! I remember seeing this in the theaters and being SOOO obsessed with dinosaurs for a long time after! Again, great reaction!
27:46 fun fact Birds swallow pebbles that get caught in their troughs too help them break down food, like teeth. Its dropped in the movie but the reason for the sick trike was because it was unintentionally eating those toxic berries while looking for rocks from the ground to act as those pebbles. 45:16 they dont change sex, but some amphibians can give birth to genetic clones of themselves when males aren't around.
Speilberg was shown some of the CGI, and was so impressed he called the animatronics guys into the editing room to watch. After the animatronics guys saw the animation, one of them turned to his colleague and said, "Looks like we're out of a job." To which his colleague replied, "Don't you mean extinct?" Speilberg liked it so much he put it in the movie.
My fav movie. Someone already mentioned the raptor size issue, ill add that if you ever find yourself standing in front of a T-Rex lol, don't just stand still. They had binocular vision and a large portion of their brain was dedicated to vision.
I know I'm late to the party, but there are some movies that are so epic and iconic, I wish I could go back and see for the first time. Watching your vids kind of help fulfill that feeling. I appreciate what you do. And I don't mind the commentary because the things you say out loud are the same things we said when seeing these movies for the first time. Keep doing you!!!!
Brilliant way to start the movie. The novel describes the mauled worker being transported and unsuccessfully treated for his wounds but to show the actual attack pops the audience directly into the action.
I have to laugh how you talk about the special effects in the 90’s like it was the 1800’s. I saw this in the theater when it came out. It was amazing on the big screen. Sometimes theaters will play older movies. If you get the opportunity to see it on the big screen you should do it.
33:54 why are they just sitting there gee I don't know there's a T-Rex outside their car that can run faster than a human so it can clearly catch up but you guys are the geniuses
@@Laura-M-L why did they ask a stupid question like that, why aren't they running they said well maybe if they kept their mouth shut and paid attention will they first got to the park the Creator told them the T-Rex runs 35 to 40 mph now gee I'm not a genius but I don't think there's a human on earth that can run that fast
The lesson learned in this movie is don't mess with something that you don't understand. Just because you can do something in science that's never been done, doesn't mean you should do it, as mentioned in the movie. Some scientists can be dangerous people, hence covid. Let's hope AI doesn't cop an attitude.
Great reaction guys. One thing to note, a T-rex running 30mph is actually quite fast for something so large... but most certainly would never keep up with the jeep once it was in higher gear
I liked it. Thanks. I like Spielburg's trick of not showing the "monster" until late in the film. That also happened in Jaws. They created a ton of suspense, but the shark was seen just about half way through, and that was just a brief glimpse. I think you would like Close Encounters. That has a lot of suspense, family values, and great special effects.
There will always be people saying you talk too much. Sometimes it can be constructive, but others will say it no matter what you do. I love you guys, and think you're doing great. I don't mind reactors talking, as long as THEY don't miss anything. If you don't feel you are missing things, then you are fine. I look forward to your reactions and watch them as soon as I can. Keep it up.
The helicopter scene was filmed in Hawaii. Yes it’s beautiful. Hammond is Richard Attenborough, his brother David narrates all of the animal planet shows.
Ignore those comments guys. People are watching a movie reacting. So it would be boring if you guys were being silent the whole time. You're both doing great and I love the vibe you're giving off. So ignore those haters and keep doing what you're doing!😁😁😊😊😊
The funniest thing about this film is when real paleontologists. Watch this, they their expertise. They pick out every detail. Of this movie that is false. And they have every reason too. They're not making fun of it because, at the first this was like the first movie that actually put emphasis on dinosaurs in A. More positive way and more educational way. This is basically somewhat a horror movie to a degree, but yeah, there are a lot of things in here that paleontologists have found out through their due diligence studies, for example, the t. Rex does not need you to move it could see you just fine. The the dilapiposaurus that was in this movie would have been much bigger. Then what you saw in this film? So there were a lot of things in here that were wrong. That steven spielberg got wrong, but at the time they didn't have the necessarily information on a lot of these creatures, but it still was fucking amazing
42:52 like alot of other carnivores most are sprinters. They can run as fast as they can for short bursts but eventually tire out. Which is why cheetahs, tigers etc are more ambush predators and get as close as they can before making their move. If theyre too far away they may be fast but they cant keep up for too long Also goes to show how the trex caught the fast gallimimus in the field when it burst through the trees at 46:49
The Triceratops was actually a full-size animatronic puppet. And it was actually the very first scene filmed for the entire movie, so it really set the standard for the rest of the film, as well as the rest of the scenes with the dinosaurs.
LOL - I watched this again and just caught the bit where y'all noticed a young Samuel L. Jackson. Perspective is a funny thing. I was 16 when I saw this for the first time and I remember some of the comments my parents and their friends made about the actors in their various roles; meanwhile I was looking at them all and being not-very-impressed, because to my teenage eyes they were all old. Now I'm the old person in my teenage self's eyes and in the decades since I've actually seen the movies all these actors have been in over the years. _Now_ I watch all these movies from the 90s and I'm all "wow, they were so young!"
I'm so glad to see other people say Dr. Grant reminds them of Indiana Jones. I saw this movie in 1993 in theatres and Dr. Grant ALWAYS struck me as a discount Indy Jones. The similarity is so striking that I'm positive it was deliberate on Spielberg's part.
Welcome to the reaction game! There is no wrong or right way to do it. Just stay positive and have fun!! That carries through to us in the audience. 😊 I’m glad your video popped up on my feed! Also, fun fact: totally thought all Barbasol cans opened up like that when I was a kid 😂😂
The fact that Barbasol is cashing in on this, especially their 25th anniversary of Jurassic Park Barbara soulmate sure that what happened to Ned was mentioned on one of their cans, especially for the Jurassic world promotion 27:14 I think that's what's missing in movies. Nowadays they need to have either animatronics or people in certain suits along with CGI in order to give the film a realistic feel so that audience members can feel like every creature every being is 100% real and not easily confirmed as fake 39:28 fun fact there's a video game that tells what happened to the Barbasol as well as the final Jurassic World movie
fun fact: before the novel was even published, all the major studios and directors started a huge bidding war for it, with Spielberg winning. The author wasn't even a big author and like i said; the book hadn't even been published yet. Shows how much they know and how well they can identify a best seller. another fun fact: Spielberg's best picture winner, Schindler's List came out the same year. Big year for Spielberg.
Keep reacting in your own way, guys. Forget the people who don't want to talk over the movie. If they want to simply watch the movie, they can simply watch the movie. Reactions aren't watch parties. Keep up the good work!
Fun fact, Birds evolved along side Dinosaurs from a Theropod Dinosaur ancestor. Some of the earliest known Bird families to evolve were Ducks, Geese, and Swans. There were Ducks, Turtles, and Gators in the waters that Dinosaurs drank from and survived the extinction event. I just love the idea of a Duck living near a Triceratops.
I actually really enjoyed watching your reaction! I think y'all are doing a great job. A small tip that might make the video smoother, I know you have to show everything in clips for copyright purposes, but if you can time your cuts so they don't cut off the dialogue mid sentence it'll make the video more enjoyable. Movies like Jurassic Park are nostalgic for a lot of people, so cutting off the dialogue that many might know really well just makes them aware what is missing. But keep up the good work! I'm excited to check out your other videos.
Thank you so much for watching! We really enjoyed this movie a lot! What are your thoughts?

Fun Fact: The scene with the Triceratops, those were genuine reactions from the actors because they weren't allowed to see the animatronic dinosaur yet until that scene, so Spielberg wanted to be sure to capture their real genuine reactions on camera. It's the most emotional and beautiful scene. 😊

If he spared no expense than everything wouldn't have been automated.
Nedry is essentially the greedy main villain of the movie. But Nedry is sympathetic in the book, and Hammond is the main greedy Villain.
Plots gotta plot
Nedry wasn't stiffed as much as he underbid his own services and mismanaged his money
That was nedry being an idiot, not Hammond stiffing him. If you need concrete evidence on that, read the book. Yeah, Hammond was the villain but Nedry was an idiot.

That’s a great idea. I wish more reactors would do that.
That or pause the movie to talk.
Pause works
Or have the video continue and the sound quieten when you speak, The sudden jarring of no sound and picture is very annoying.
@@Jeff_Vader I agree, it’s annoying when the movie goes quiet ever 5 minutes. It’s better if they just speak quietly.
Jeff Goldblum Jurassic Park: "Must go faster...." 🦖
Jeff Goldblum Independence Day: "MUST GO FASTER!!!" 👽
And in the Jurassic Park with Julianne Moore, "Increase your rate of climb" as an alternative to "must go faster"
spielberg was mad about him using the line in id4, apparently.
So many good quotes that stuck with me through life like "spared no expense" "hold on to your butts" "welcome to Jurassic Park" and more lol
"Life finds a way!"
"life finds a way", "clever girl"
The T Rex getting out scene was one of the best scenes in cinematic history. As John Hammond would say..."They spared no expense!"
The raptor kitchen scene is iconic as well
Well, he did spare one huge expense, ignorantly that caused all these problems: You would think he would have had a backup security system company where if you shut down security fences as Dennis did, you would have to get approval from an outside source, first and approval by hammond, the old man, before you were allowed to shut so many systems down.
The scientific name for the Velociraptor is Nope Chicken.
Or maybe the real velocitaptors were the friends we made along the way.
@@dannykent6190 Yeah, what's 70 million years between friends?
Let's not call them negative comments. Rather they should be considered constructive criticism. Unless someone is just being a total ass.

I loved this reaction but as a bit of constructive criticism I will say that I found the constantly playing Mortal Kombat game in the top right hand corner a bit distracting. That's my only gripe though.
@@ivaneames4354 Personally I didn't notice that.
Rexy has got to be the most sophisticated prop ever built for a motion picture. Damn that thing looks real!
Fyi, all modern birds are, in fact, dinosaurs.
Or are dinosaurs just really really young birds?
@@TheRealRodent you just blew my mind.
@@justinrichards7822 ha!
Aren't birds, birds?
@johnbeans2000 nope. It's all it the bone structure. Di-no-saur
It doesn't matter how often I've seen Jurassic Park, that scene in the maintenance bunker when the Raptor shows up behind Ellie will always get me with the jumpscare.
Side notes:
The dinosaur sounds in this movie were made by combining sounds made by living animals and everyday objects.
(There's an "s" in parentheses because depending on whether or not whales have teeth or baleen plates (think of them as biological water filters) in their mouths, whales have either one of two blowholes)
The Gallimimus's chief sound effect was made using the recorded calls of a mare (female horse) in heat, while their movements were inspired by those of ostriches.
A good portion of this movie was shot on the Hawaiian island of Kauai.
Whenever I hear Hammond ask "Who's hungry?", my first reaction every time is "Not after hearing the Raptors rip the cow apart."
Lego released 30th anniversary sets in honor of Jurassic Park and the one I have is based on Dennis Nedry's encounter with the Dilophosaurus.
_Whenever I hear Hammond ask "Who's hungry?", my first reaction every time is "Not after hearing the Raptors rip the cow apart."_
Dats da joke.
I've never understand people complaining about people talking. What do u expect. It's a reaction, you just want them to sit there.
::Slow claps:: 💯@@laurenqueenofwolvesnicole
It's called pausing the movie to talk. You can't talk over the movie and pay full attention at the same time.
the talking isnt a problem, the constant pausing/skipping the movie is though.
My only thing is asking them to pause when commenting so they don't miss important details 😊
Well in movies like Peter Jackson’s King Kong, the trex was falling to its death and still attacking the people like during a free fall to death as if it was thinking “I’m hungry” instead of “oh shit I’m about to die”
That’s movies for ya

Dr Hammond is played by the late, great Sir Richard Attenborough - a brilliant director and actor in his own right and brother of the famous broadcaster and biologist Sir David Attenborough 🤓🇬🇧
I think you two are doing a great job with editing and I truly love your reactions!
In the novel this movie is based on, Dennis Nedry's death was much more scary and gruesome than the film depicted. 😱
Thank you! Much love and God bless!
I LOVE this movie!!! Great movie reaction!!

He cared the whole time! Imagine having a dream come true and suddenly he's crushed. A human is capable of more than one feeling.
OBSESSED.
One of the greatest classics of all time.
I was 32 when this came out. I remember my best friend coming up to me and saying “you’ll think the dinosaurs are real!” It was just so groundbreaking for its time. Check out The Thing for some on the best practical effects ever!
The Mortal Kombat 1 arcade in the back. So much nostalgia man.
"It's a Unix system. I know this!"
Funny story about that bit - you remember those graphics they showed on screen of Lex going around looking at various park systems?
The musical themes are really expressive and his use of pressure and release is perfect.
This part reminds me a bit of Star Wars 14:40
In 1993, I was 12 and this blew me away.
Just found you guys and would never have thought yall where new. Keep doing what you're doing ❤ love your reactions x
I love the fact that they used mostly animatronics because unlike CGi it stands the test of time
I personally love reactors that talk throughout. I’m here for the ongoing commentary. I don’t like the style of reactions with either little to no talking, I’m here to see other people’s thought and opinions on movies. I just stumbled across this video - first time watcher. You guys have a good vibe, I would never have guessed you’re new to reacting 😊
No human had seen convincing dinosaurs on screen before this movie.
Jurassic Park was the first movie I saw in Surround Sound. It was WILD in 1993. Everything about this move was groundbreaking.
On they way home that night, I knew every billboard had a t red behind it, waiting to leap out.
saw it in cinema, must have been 10y old at the time and I can tell you it was something.
I actually saw this twice at the cinema, first with my family, then a few days later one of my friends invited me to see it with him.
I saw this movie 11 times in the theater. Seeing the special effects on the big screen was overwhelming. Its was amazing. Since 1993, my favorite dinosaur has been the velociraptor. Also, there's too much jumping over scenes that are important. Its frustrating.
Thank you for the feedback
Seeing Jurassic Park on the big screen WAS awesome! And awesome is the right word.
“Even the shit looks real” that the quote of the video 😂🤣
My fav movie. Someone already mentioned the raptor size issue, ill add that if you ever find yourself standing in front of a T-Rex lol, don't just stand still. They had binocular vision and a large portion of their brain was dedicated to vision.
I know I'm late to the party, but there are some movies that are so epic and iconic, I wish I could go back and see for the first time. Watching your vids kind of help fulfill that feeling. I appreciate what you do. And I don't mind the commentary because the things you say out loud are the same things we said when seeing these movies for the first time. Keep doing you!!!!
I was harsh on y'all but you guys did some research this time. I think you are generally getting better keep improving you both seem like nice people.
Thank you for coming back and giving it another watch 🙏🏽 we definitely are trying to get better each video
Why be so rude?

Jurassic Park was th first movie i go to cinema ever,i feel in love in dinosaurs after this movie

I've been back on a jurassic park kick, and seeing this first veiwings reaction was great!
The visual effects were groundbreaking at that time...
I watched this movie in the theater when it came out i was seven years old and it blew my mind.
42:52 like alot of other carnivores most are sprinters. They can run as fast as they can for short bursts but eventually tire out. Which is why cheetahs, tigers etc are more ambush predators and get as close as they can before making their move. If theyre too far away they may be fast but they cant keep up for too long
Also goes to show how the trex caught the fast gallimimus in the field when it burst through the trees at 46:49
The Triceratops was actually a full-size animatronic puppet.
I honestly still remember when my dad took me and my cousin to the theatres to watch this movie. It was definitely a special event
It's your videos do what you wanna do. Some people don't understand the definition of reaction video, meaning your gonna talk thru it.
John Williams the Canadian composer did the music, he also competed music for Star Wars and Harry Potter 😊
Some guys would hear that T-Rex roar and be like "Coming honey"
The fact that Barbasol is cashing in on this, especially their 25th anniversary of Jurassic Park Barbara soulmate sure that what happened to Ned was mentioned on one of their cans, especially for the Jurassic world promotion
27:14 I think that's what's missing in movies. Nowadays they need to have either animatronics or people in certain suits along with CGI in order to give the film a realistic feel so that audience members can feel like every creature every being is 100% real and not easily confirmed as fake
39:28 fun fact there's a video game that tells what happened to the Barbasol as well as the final Jurassic World movie
Practical effects can look great and usually standup over time
fun fact: before the novel was even published, all the major studios and directors started a huge bidding war for it, with Spielberg winning. The author wasn't even a big author and like i said; the book hadn't even been published yet. Shows how much they know and how well they can identify a best seller.
another fun fact: Spielberg's best picture winner, Schindler's List came out the same year. Big year for Spielberg.
I really and literally can’t believe that a lot of people have not seen Jurassic Park or the sequels but I guess it is what it is
One of the best openings for this good films from many reactors! ;) Like u!
Keep reacting in your own way, guys. Forget the people who don't want to talk over the movie. If they want to simply watch the movie, they can simply watch the movie. Reactions aren't watch parties. Keep up the good work!
The storm Hawaii had was incorporated into the movie, it was Hurricane Iniki, which was the most devastating to the state.
Great reaction guys.. just subscribed looking forward to watching more of ur reactions 🤙🏾
