Time to talk about Sturgis and give you my thoughts on the event.

Today I talk about my trip and view on Sturgis. I was called ouy about my opinion on Sturgis. This opinion was shaped even though I had never been to the Sturgis event.

Appreciate your video! This definitely helps! I think some of the problem is people think of Sturgis as this "Hells Angels" get together. Or nothing but a bunch of biker gangs causing issues etc.. I haven't been but want to go and thinking about it for this year. Watching videos like this and others, you realize Sturgis isn't what It used to be. A new generation of people, everybody just getting together and hanging out and like you said "doing your own thing".

... participated in the '90s ... if actual riding and exploring the area is your goal - this isn't the time to go , two weeks after Sturgis the roads are virtually empty ... if you like riding in crowds [and Partying] go to Daytona/Laconia/Sturgis - alot of venders stay after the event and basically give stuff away - t- shirts/sweatshirts etc. the bonus is great riding ... safe travels ...

I live in Milwaukee, WI and drove to Sturgis in 2021. Had a good time and the countryside is beautiful. But, coming from Milwaukee the rally is very similar to Labor day weekend Harley's Homecoming festival here. The local dealerships each put on events with music and food, rally's and all types of venders. with around fifteen Harley dealers within about a fifty mile radius, there is a wide variety of things going on. I will be going to Sturgis in 2024, but living where I do I'm quite fortunate to be able to go to every local event each year and still able to put on a lot of miles.

Do you attend Mamma Tried and the Races? That is my favorite event.

I know my first time out to the rally wasn't anything I had ever heard about what happens and goes on at the rally. Its what you make of it for yourself.

I think it’s important to know what you’re going for. Tailor your experience around that.

Ok...I personally have never been to Sturgis. HOWEVER...
I have many friends and family both in clubs and not....ride there, and they all say exactly the same thing....
No matter what your there to do, you better have LOTS OF $$$$$$$$$
STURGIS= BANKRUPTCY!
Too rich for this Ironworker!
I spend enough on my bike alone!

8 dollar beers on main street. My last time was 2 years ago. If you go to Daytona, skip main street and go to Sopotniks Cabbage patch.
