That is one complex little camera. I bought the same model used in a resale shop for $4. It takes very good, colorful photos. If you find one that works (unlike this one) I recommend it. It does run through alkaline batteries quickly. Lithium are better. Uses a standard SD Card. Thanks for sharing and the disassembly.

I still have mine. I pulled it out of storage. Good thing it didn't have the batteries. So I went to the nearby CVS and got some new ones. It works like a charm.

Sometimes it is the fuse, other times it could be the power unit, other times a chip failure.
