Erik Grönwalls best cover yet is "All by myself", don't miss it. It's spectacular.
🇸🇪
Spectacular is a small word to describe it.
The best cover is "Painkiller" 🤷♀️
“Without You” was written and released in 1970 by the band Badfinger, but made famous by Harry Nilsson from his 1971 album, Nilsson Schmilsson. This song has been a favorite of mine since 1971. Harry’s performance is EPIC! It reached #1 in the US and held the spot for four weeks. Mariah Carey released it in 1994. Its US release date of 21 January 1994 ironically fell a week after Nilsson had died following a heart attack on 15 January 1994. Her version reached #3 in the US.
1994? When it was relased as a single? Cause it came out in 1993 on the music box album
It was released as the third single off Music Box in the first quarter of 1994, its US release date was January 21, 1994.
You should know that Erik Grönwall is more than just a talented singer; he’s a true example of courage, strength to never give up, and the power of dreams. His big break came in 2009 on Swedish Idol, where he wowed audiences with Skid Row’s "18 and Life." As a longtime fan of the band, their music had always fueled his own rock ambitions.
Winning Idol launched him into a career with H.E.A.T and an international fanbase. In 2021, however, Erik was diagnosed with leukemia, but he fought through treatment and emerged cancer-free. Shortly after, he received a dream offer: to become Skid Row’s new lead singer. Accepting, he recorded The Gang’s All Here, bringing his journey full circle. From an audition as a fan to leading his favorite band, Erik’s story is nothing short of inspiring.
Great Reaction ty. But as other also says. There is alot of songs on his YT that is just amazing. Painkiller, faithfully, gods gonna cut you down, etc etc etc there are loads to check out. Thnx again 🤘
Thanks for your reaction! Erik is good!
You guy's need too check out The house of rising sun by Erik!!!!!!!!!!!!! Epic dark version
It's like history is being rewritten! This song was written and preformed by the awesome Pete Ham and Tom Evans from 'Badfinger' in 1970 I think. It was made famous by 'Harry Neilson' in 1971 and 'Heart' did a great cover in '77 as well.
Check out 'Badfinger - No Matter What' or Baby Blue for a slower tune.
BEST VOICE IN THE WORLD!!
Yes I agree but Elvis is still the King.
@@SteigerwaldSons king but not better voice
I always thought this was a Harry Nilsson original and it turns out it is actually a Badfinger original. The Mariah version for is the best but i must say i really loved this version also and it goes without saying your reaction was a joy to watch!
Check out House of the rising sun or Carolus rex with Eric, they are great.
HOUSE OF THE RISING SUN...BY ERIK
He also does Celine Dion. :)
And dors a H.E.A.T cover with Dan Vasc called Breaking the Silence if you are looking for Rock content. Erik also used to be the lead singer of H.E.A.T
I love Erik's Jonny Cash cover of 'God will cut you down.'
If you haven't yet I urge you all to listen to "O holy night" by Erik. Magical...
I know Badfinger did the original but i'll always think of this as being a Nilsson song.
Yes Harry Nilsson’s 1971 cover is the arrangement most people are familiar with and the one other artists seem to cover
He’s ours! Sweden!❤️❤️❤️
Erik's original band was H.E.A.T. Check out maybe their song 'Point of No Return' to get another perspective of him. H.E.A.T are a great band.
If you want to check out Erik kickin’ a full rock vocal check out is collab cover of Highway Star (originally by Deep Purple). Good stuff!
This is an excellent version of the song. I have always liked the Harry Nilsson version best, but this may be my new favorite.
I recommended younto do his first cover on the channel Black Sabbaths headless cross, he look a little different then because he was in the middle of his cancer treatment then.
That was crazy 😳
He actually has a t-shirt that says "Look like a criminal sing like an angel". Inspired by IG.
There is a new one out by Erik Erik Grönwall - House Of The Rising Sun (Epic Dark Version) Master piece
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🙌🏻❤️
You need to now listen to Harry Nilsson’s version. It’s still the best. Erik Grönwall sang on Michael Schenker’s new album of UFO songs from Michael’s time in UFO. The song also features Slash. Links below.
“Mother Mary” featuring Slash and Erik Grönwall.

Erik is fantastic in many ways. Looked through your reactions and find that you missed Tommy Johansson from Majestica. Check in with him if you want to be blown away

Goot listen to the new House of the rising sun. Thats freaking awsome
You must lisen to Holy Night Whitt Erik Grönwall. 🥰🥰🥰🥰
wow
The previous wasn't a Whitney Huston cover, the song is made and performed by Dolly Parton! Whitney Huston did a cover of it!
Yes this is good along with many others but Harry Neilson still is my favorite and most young people like you think of Mariah Carey but many others performed this great song
You should check out his version of House of the Rising Sun. IMO best cover of the song out there.
o holy night you must watch
Hi from Sweden Göteborg Peter Larsson and grön walls is Swedish national
You really, really need to check out his covers of *House of the Rising Sun* and *O Holy Night*!!!!!
They were/is of Swedish Power origin.
Harry Nilsson's version is better ... in paŕt due to the instrumentation, but a more emotional vocal. Badfinger, the original. Is very good as well. Not to take anything from Erik ... he has a great voice.
I think Neilson wrote it-I like the original
It was written by guys from the band Badfinger and released in 1970. Harry released his cover in 1971. Harry’s version reached #1 in the US and stayed there for four weeks.
Is it Tommy playing the piano?
Its Jona Tee, Eriks bandmate from HEAT and New Horizon. Jona plays a lot of instruments in Eriks videos and does mix, master and production too
I still think Harry Nillsons version of s much more emphatic and emotional. Sorry, this is not a Mariah song, this is Harry's song.
Journey "Faithfully " perhaps?
Very close to the popular version done by Harry Nilsson, but Harry did it better.
Done better by Harry Nelson and first recorded by bad finger .

Now the mystery song that hardly now one here has heard of because they all are too young or have been or are being distracted. ALL TRUE. LISTEN TO JOURNEY SUZANNE and you will not be able to stop guaranteed. Then listen to it at night before going to bed. It was a song practically hidden from the world but is a masterpiece in the album. I REPEAT DO NOT LISTEN TO IT LIVE. Listen to the original song from the album youtube has the song from the, "Raised on Radio" album. Then be blown away by the range of Steve Perry's voice and the crying guitar of Neal Schon. ALL TRUE. And as a special PRECIOUS GIFT go see Jonathan Kleck youtube channel, the Angel of the Church of Philadelphia mentioned in revelation 3:7 that the Apostle John wrote about. ALL 100% TRUE.
Mariah Carey’s cover is the absolute worst. Absolutely no emotion in her version. Just screaming. Without You is NOT Mariah’s song.
Harry Nilsson’s version is the best, hands down. Badfinger’s original is also fantastic.
Sorry, but this version left me cold. Absolutely NO emotion and he just screams. Awful.
Tonedeaf people always showing up..😂
@Beachgirl1 You are so wrong. Mariah Carey's was great and had emotion and not just screaming. And this version was good too but it's Mariah for me that is the best. The other two versions you mention is too old for me.
@@irishking21 sorry but Erik is a better singer.
Mariah Carey is ok.
@@PetterLoke Sorry but you are wrong. First of all, Mariah isn't just ok. She is one of the best. Second of all, I never said anything about Erik not being any good. It was about the other two versions of this song.
@PetterLoke better singer then who? Because I know you're not talking about mariah. Yeah Erik is alright but he's vocals ability isn't even half of mariahs and would struggle singing 99% of her songs. Saying mariah is OK is like saying Micheal Jackson was an OK dancer
