Played it quite a few times on TTS and I love it! Big fan of Pipeline last year so the pipe puzzle of this one is sooo good. Very excited to get the physical copy. Wonderful video!!
Yeah I feel like the pipes are even more intense in this one because of the race element trying to get cargo out and trying to build a network to receive off of your opponent. It's a really clever design!
18:35 - "Oh no! No, no, no! Scratch that!" I laughed out loud. This sounds exactly like our game nights, and is the kind of moment that makes me love this channel. :D
It's really important to pay attention to the numbers on the boards. Naveen was always able to receive the red goods because he matched his 4 connection on his receiving side with Monique's connection 4 (on her shipping). And Monique was struggling because Naveen was shipping reds on number 5 and she was trying to receive on number 4. Checking which numbers your oponent is using is the key if you want to be able to receive their goods. Really cool video, exicited to get this one myself! You guys are great :D
You're right! I struggled to make that #4 receiving connection, I should have prioritized it and used my trucks to pushed Monique's reds into my receiving zone. Have you tried it on TTS?
@@BeforeYouPlay I played it a couple of times but I struggle a lot withe the spatial puzzle in TTS. Like pipeline, I need to have the tiles in my hand to make the right decisions 😅
@@flamtzer Totally!!! I (Naveen) really struggle with the digital version of it (and in person too lol). I have trouble with digital games as I become too tunnel vision on a small set of components and have trouble seeing all the working parts of the game. Essentially playing online games it tedious for me.
@@BeforeYouPlay yes, exactly! I fail miserably to see the entire board. I tried Mercado de Lisboa too and my boyfriend just destroyed me. I was incapable to see what he was working towards and because I was so focused on the grid I couldn't keep up with the costumers. Moving the camera is my kryptonite 🙃
Phew. I pre-ordered this blind and was hoping it was going to be great. So glad it looks AMAZING. I'm also excited for the double sided player boards and the bus token.
Awesome! It's really thinky and you are constantly learning more and more from game to game. Relatively easy to teach, but hard to pull off (in that good kind of way). Tons of variability with the 3 colored player boards and different maps. It's a great little package too!
Great video you two. I think I'll be preordering this with Pandemic Legacy 0. Seems charming but stressful in hopefully the good kind of way! And also, Naveen has been looking fit recently!
Good video, guys. I picked this up after I watched this video. I'm a total gamer and I'm slowly ramping my wife up to more and more complicated games. I hope we like this one!
I love frustrated sassy Naveen at 47:40 and the fact that Monique does not get the sarcasm. This looks like a fun game but that pipe maze would be too much to handle for me.
Oh man... oh man... Maybe (just maybe...) Curious Cargo since it is a pure 2P game. They are different games though, they just both utilize the same type of component.
at 33:50 Naveen could have used his top stored tile to complete the blue pipe to shipping slot 7 and then completed loading his truck. He was too focused on the delivery. been there.
Hi Jeff, I went back and checked out what you were referring to. It looks like the line you are describing doesn't originate to one of the loading docks. It begins at a wall unfortunately.
@@BeforeYouPlay well shoot. i did have some trouble seeing the direction of the pipes when they cross over or curved over each other. i dont know if that would be an issue for me with the physical game, and i hope to get to try this some day and find out.
@@jeffhiatt1682 Haha yeah!! No worries, the twists and turns can really get you and if you're not careful you may accidentally attach an underpass to another pipe not technically in line. It gets easier to see with time :)

Nice game. I like it. Pipeline, for me, was a bit "meh". But I do like this smaller two player one. It's quite puzzley, which is neat.
@@derekdaniels1483 do you know what's the mods name? could not find it on tts...
@@henribcosta Yeah, it doesn't show up when you try to search for it. But it is available.

For some reason the truck hand management gets us both stressed out lol!!
You two keep crushing each video! Another awesome watch from my end. Keep up the great work.
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed the video :)
Thanks for doing a review!
Of course! You're the best, can't wait for your next project!!!
I love watching Naveen's slow descent into madness.
Hahaha 😝

Ooo really looking forward to this! Preordered it from Capstone with New York Zoo.
Oh nice! We still have yet to demo NY Zoo.
Great video guys.
Thank you Tim!!
I'd love to see a Capstone Games series! Their iron rails games look really interesting, as does coffee traders

thank you a lot, Jason Traweek
Great review guys,..
Thank you so much!
If you had to pick between Pipeline and Curious Cargo for a 2P game?... missed the covers!! Thanks!

I think Monique forgot to take a truck token when she shipped her first blue token.
Ahh, we'll have to go back and take a look! If so then she gets at a minimum 1 extra point at the end of the game.
Yeah, I was going to say this also. At 38 min or something like that.
I l Ike this game but it was a little complicated for us. Watching your video was helpful!
Nicely done!
Thank you! Cheers!
