Hi guys, It seems no matter our age, we still are on that road to learning new things. I`m an English guy 75 years of age, but I learn on that same road as you teach through your Will it start type videos. I still like learning at my age, so don't stop the teaching people like me. Thanks both. Ian.
I drove that same lull for 15 years, For a construction company I worked for, Great Machine, I could have bought 1 2 years ago for 3000, great Price, But I was sick, and almost kicked the Bucket.
I drove one in Gulf Shores after Frederick putting shingles and trusses on buildings from one end of the island to the other. Make sure you change the filters on the hydraulics regularly. If moving it More than a mile or two trailer it. Driving top speed with blow out the hydraulic lines. The boom bushings tend to wear quick too. It's easy to work on and keep running.
Evening from Italy That is a super machine. Now you 2 guys are the go too for getting forgotten machines working. This is an invaluable machine. As you had time and funds, give that machine a good bit of TLC and a coat of paint It deserves that !!!
Thanks for the video. Let us know when part two is ready. Anxious now to see part two. You got us going and now we can not see what happens. Been a hard one for you both. Sorry for all of the troubles. Let us know the end. You two got it figured out. Proud of you both for figuring it out. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
This video reminds me of two road dogs (brothers) that have had a long day together and running out of time. Not that they were beefing, but over hospitable is out the door 😂
Hello from up here in North Alabama. Did you guys try to check the windings in the Solenoid on the pump. Ohm meter to see if it was open or high resistance reading. Check the new one to the old compare the values. That maybe the reason it wasn’t arcing to ground open solenoid windings. Enjoy the show. Maybe you could stop the video and ask questions what would you think it was to the people watching. First one comments correctly first get a tee shirt or hat. Thanks
G'evening from the High desert of sw Idaho Hank & Wiley ☕☕ 🤠 . Back in the mid 90's I spent a lot of time in the same telehandler courtesy of Corte construction on a multi-state usps fed contract. I loved that T hanndler & we made short work of a lot with it 🤓 .
That's one big ole girl of a telehandler... hopefully you can get all the kinks out and have ya one reliable piece of equipment to make life easier on the farm. Awesome content as always fellers.😎🇺🇸👨🔧😇🛠️
I was feeling the frustration you guys where going through , working your way through each item to find it the stop/start solenoid on fuel injection pump , I gone through same things as you guys on my Landy diesel 2.5N/A engines I’ve built and it’s the last thing you least expect to be faulty but after sitting any moisture can kill them the firing can brake or it sticks in off piston all of a sudden and all u can do is replace them but I bet from the time you fit new one till it’s last day you ever use it that it won’t fail again ! Look forward to seeing part two soon looks like a good restoration of parts needed and a few hoses plus that hydraulic tank drained and cleaned before any full use as you want to get rid of any water etc in it especially if you got rams needing new seals you don’t want water getting pump up into them afterwards .
Awesome machine Hank!! Waiting to see the next videos of her and of course from de Ford 8N tractor!! I ve been watching the process of repairing the engine of it in the other channel!!
Hey Hank I got faith in you mate I saw the Tele handler in your yard when you posted the torn backhoe bucket ,but it's still exciting watching you and Wiley try to get it started ,nice to see you got Wiley telling bad jokes now lol Cheers Kym Adelaide
I have finished watching it yet, but I can tell you right now that solenoid is bad it’s not working properly for you now you can find yourself a manual on off bell for that. It’s much easier but it needs a new solenoid. I’ll see if y’all can figure it out.
Every machine ya'll work on, you get more knowledge and pretty soon, ya'll will graduate from "not mechanics" to.......MASTER FIELD TECHNICIANS 😅😅 Well, ok, maybe I'm being too melodramatic, but you do gain that know-how. 🔧 Thanks for sharing guys! 😎
I worked at Lull on the line as a A class Assembler every 544, 644, 844, that went down the line. There was only 1 line so all of them went down the same line the 544 was a smaller one with no boom about the size of a Alice Charmers. They dropped the 544 about 1982. There was also a 622 but that didnt last long. It was a rear drive rear steer with a spilt braking system that made tight corners easier when used in the right way it could turn on a dime But if you used it wrong it would break the axel it had two brake pedels that if not uesed the right way it snaped the axle. There was only about 100 of those built before they stopped building them. People just didnt understand how the brakes worked and they would use them in the wrong way causeing the axel to snap. When used the right way they were a good lift. They could turn on a dime and go anywhere and were a lot cheaper then the 644 or 844 they worked a lot like a zeroturn lawn mower does today. As far as motors go the costomers could order any motor they wanted. Cats, Deutz,😮 Detroit, JD, and almost anything else. There was a few gas motors but mostly diesel were were orderd. You could get them with cabs and with outriggers on just the front or on all 4 coners. Those mostly went to Europe. They were tough machines and could go anywhere you wanted to. I know one of my jobs was forklift driver. I got to drive one every day for a year along wi😮th all the other lifts we had. We would go down to the lower level of the property down to the Minnesota River were we kept older parts and old stuff not needed. It was a lot of fun when there was a good rain made 4 wheeling fun on a 844 we had one of the first ones off the line we used and abused it and never broke anything on it they used it as a test machine . We did get it stuck playing on it down by the owners old house it was behind the shop it had the best veiw of the river. And was a great place to have a smoke and take a little brake. I know the machine i loved to drive was a old 20 ton lift monster we had there that lull made during the 40s into the 50s you would climb up the ladder to get up to the operators seat you were about 15 feet up with all the old levers to work it. It would lift the huge thick sheets or steel that came in by truck we could lift the whole load at one time. It was a beast. I hope they still use it in Wisconsin were they moved to when they got bought out by JGL. I will say this that it was the best job I had there was a great bunch of guys to work with and for. They were willing to let you take any job you knew you could do. I started in the lowest job and moved on when i could. If any of the guys happen to see this post while sitting at the lake or out on a deer stand or enjoying a beer your all retired by now so i hope life was good to you and your families Attach a message to this post if you remember me. And these lifts are the first of there kind. You see them in different brands now days but back then we were the only ones building them they had the patent on this type of lift for awhile till it ran out and it didnt take long for the copys' to show up at all. They knew how good they were. Its why JGL took over them there still making money of them. Oh if anyone out there still has a 622 and in need of a parts book with all the specs and parts with there drawings I have one i would gladly give to you. Now with all the problems they had with them i think theres a 1 in a million chance of a working one still out there 😅😅😅
I really want to know what you paid for it! I bet you got a screamin deal. Def. Worth the few repairs to bring her back up to par. That engine runs very smooth! Good vid guys!
It’s crazy y’all have so much trouble with ignitions. I’ve had maybe one or two that didn’t work and they were trucks and machines that sat for over 30 years never had any issues with ignitions keys always worked
Hey hank how much did u buy the machine for, if u don’t mind me asking? I drove the same machine a bunch when I did iron working. I’d love to come across one that’s been sitting like yours and get her going. Great vid brother!
@@Hfoutdoorsyt it mite have been and I just missed it, I think that’s a pretty good deal, one just like it sold at Richie brothers for 8k and it was in the in-op section
got ya a new song hank feed whiley hes heen a good dawg hahahaha great video those seloinds are usuall my first stop if im not getting correct pressure to injectors the old mechanical pumps dint have them n worked alot better
The thought occurres that Hank putting the boom out trying to get on the trailer might've tripped the overload sensor And not resetting it could have shut the motor down Or Boom out on slope = I need to stop you Engine cut out = I really need to STOP you More modern machines are more forgiving but older machines are basically an on/off switch to stop you killing yourself

Hank you definitely won't regret buying that machine especially one that doesn't have all that electronic computer stuff on it
I think you're right. It's gonna be a good one.
Those machines are great to have because they are multipurpose and easy to operate
I drove that same lull for 15 years, For a construction company I worked for, Great Machine, I could have bought 1 2 years ago for 3000, great Price, But I was sick, and almost kicked the Bucket.
That thing is going to be real handy around the farm

Once you get this machine home and operating you won’t look back. They’re the Swiss Army Knife of farm machinery.
That's what I hear . I'm excited about it
We lost power at our homes tonight unfortunately till tomorrow morning at 1:00 🕐 😢😢😢
Evening from Italy That is a super machine. Now you 2 guys are the go too for getting forgotten machines working. This is an invaluable machine. As you had time and funds, give that machine a good bit of TLC and a coat of paint It deserves that !!!
Keep after it Hank, You'll get it going.
Thanks!
Thank you sir
Thanks for the video. Let us know when part two is ready.

Let us know the end.

I glad you and Wiley got it fixed nice machine I enjoyed the video
Good Morning Gentleman , I am so glad to see you again today and I hope you are doing well and having a fantastic day today , Sirs 😊!
Drove one in the past it’s a great machine. Love the video you guys
Very good machine and easy to run and God bless y'all
Today on Hamilton farms Wiley taps out "send help" on the starter solenoid
Really great to see y’all again hope yall had a great holiday 😃👍🏻👍🏻
It's a good machine just needs TLC and it will be fine great video thanks Hank and Wylie
For sure
When i was in the service that type was called "all terrain lift" beach to LST/LST to beach....
The handle Wiley is useing to engage the pony into the starter is supposed to also engage the starter button at the same time.
How am I gonna get any work done now that this video has dropped? Have a great day today H&W!
lol. Have a good day👍
This video reminds me of two road dogs (brothers) that have had a long day together and running out of time. Not that they were beefing, but over hospitable is out the door 😂
That size Lull is a great machine...at least the four wheel drive model. There is a smaller two wheel drive that lacks a little.

I got one of the petty bones like that. You're gonna love that machine they are so handy.
Have. Them test the new starter before you leave the store. I went through 6 starters at napa before getting a good one.
Wally, that was close one . Take care guys . Be careful .have nice day.
Starter wasnt that old .A starter shop probably could have fixed it and saved you 200 bucks.Motor does sound good.Tires look fairly new.

You gotta hit the gas pedal hank them machines like high rpm’s to move good. I’ve driven plenty of them gotta hammer down on the pedal
Looks like a fun rig. Just right the size, not too big.
Kinda had the same problem on a 243 Massey good video
Hank theres a body tilt, straighten it level
Hank is also a great flight instructor.
Whoop whoop
Excellent video Hank :) , Wiley :) yes Lift Handler be wild to figure out and solve on never work on but this sure says becarefull on so touchie Lol !
Yes sir
Whenever you take cylinders off you put a piece of equipment in most relaxed position
😮 there may be a screen in the fuel. Pump primer take top off

Nice machine. Hank, I appreciate you sharing this video, buddy
We almost got it fully operational. Hopefully in a day or two
Great machines! I got one here i Sweden with a Swedish built cab on it.
Need to have Wiley stop wearing camouflage, seems like something a partial body moving in the wind. LOL
Now that’s a FIRE🔥🔥🔥! Hank those eye lashes should grow back in a week or three. 🤔😀Going to be a cool machine to have around the farm…
lol. For sure. 😁
Well all can say Hank is you will be moving up in the world with thing for sure have fun guys great video ...
Also the case backhoe the fuel return was clogged on it😊
Looks can be deciveing?

Very cool @@Hfoutdoorsyt
Wiley figured it out quick 😂👍🏻👍🏻
A lot of them had Deutz Diesels in them too.
That trailer man in need lower one could jump the canyon off them raps lol
Since it’s technically Hanks rigg.
Willy should be charging him a bit.
Good video.
My dad worked on one of those he took the motor apart and did a head gasket on it
Just change the Fluid, You don't haft to repack for what, Its working.
Wiley with the jokes 😂
So Hank can drive it
And Wily can operate the hydraulics
The Dynamic Duo strike again 😂
Well done guys so far.
It’s crazy y’all have so much trouble with ignitions. I’ve had maybe one or two that didn’t work and they were trucks and machines that sat for over 30 years never had any issues with ignitions keys always worked
It's certain guarantee for high entertainment with Hank and Wiley together. Like a long married couple, in a seriously good way! :-)
They remind me of the Odd Couple TV show, ran from 1970 to 75
this is going to be a nice piece to have... I want one of those...
Yes sir. I think it's gonna be awesome
need to get now you know jumper packs. Plug n the blue etti put it to work. No co makes jumpers and great chargers 🔌 to.
Wiley: “I don’t NEED to do anything “ 😂
Awesome machine. Looks like there's a big chrome push button for the starter on the dash?
That's the level bubble
@HamiltonvilleFarm ah that makes sense. Cool. Can't wait for part 2
ALWAYS GOOD TO SEE TWO ACE MECHANICS ON THE JOB !!!!!
Best telehandler going no electronic get it home and service it repairs you're be happy has Larry
I think 🤔 it will run 🏃 and you can take it home 🏡 and be able to use it around the farm
Cool job well done
You need your friend with that Landoll trailer with winch..
Yes that would've been awesome
Might be a leak in the fuel line somewhere it keeps losing prime
How long did it take you to figure out the back steering tires wasn’t straight?
We knew that, but getting them to turn was a different story
I noticed it’s time goes on Waldi gets less and less impatient with you

Brand new starter the key doesn’t work still? Did yall even try it?
What kind of motor does it have in it?
John deere
do you ever come across any david brown tractors
Can you imagine being able to just go out with your buddies and do a little wrenching. This is the American Dream.
I would like to meet y’all , we might come through there going to the coast this spring. I live in west Tennessee close to Jackson ,
I keep thinking about the disconnected ignition wire.
One time when your driving down the road reach over and hold Wiley’s hand that would be funny ha ha
The thought occurres that Hank putting the boom out trying to get on the trailer might've tripped the overload sensor
And not resetting it could have shut the motor down
Or
Boom out on slope = I need to stop you
Engine cut out = I really need to STOP you
More modern machines are more forgiving but older machines are basically an on/off switch to stop you killing yourself
Hank Maybe watch Cutting edge Engineering Kurtis is rebuilding one himself Maybe see how he done his boom same kinda boom different tractor is all
ok cool. Thank you
Wow Wow fireworks
Nice work.
No fuel chech filter
Willy need a raise
Been waiting for this video for a minute. Lets go
Alright!!!
Why don’t yall use the starter trigger instead of screw driver it will stop the sparks and save the terminals from getting beat up so much
Gas filter block up
Hank what did you do in the Airforce
All Wiley needs is a bigger hammer and longer screwdriver. wiley is the man
Oh boy what a day
Wily what's that on the side of your head, has Hank made you into a cyborg ? .😂
